"Not a chance! I make it my policy not to apologize" the Jersey Devil spat before doing a loop in an attempt to get the blind pegasus off his tail. For a blind pony, she was surprisingly agile and continued following him. "Ugh, will you just buck off already" Black Heart screeched before going into a dive and hitting the deck with all fours. Black Heart got up quickly and scrambled to the base of the mast

Moon listened and followed around Black Heart. When the chance had come, she dived around and flew right onto him, grabbing that Jersey Devil by the shoulders and tackled him down to the ground. She pinned him down as best as she could and smiled. "Now say you're sorry!"

Black Heart growled before whipping out his prehensile tail and coiling it around Moon, lifting her off of him. 

"I won't apologize to anypony unless they beat me in combat" Black Heart spat while coiling his tail slightly tighter. "Unless you or one of your buddies beats me, I'm not taking back anything" the Jersey Devil screamed at the pegasus

Moon knew that Black Heart was getting madder and sighed, but still smiled. "I was just playing with you honey, no need to get rough alright? Now set me down, I want to wrestle with you for a small bit. Go kind of easy on me though, since i'm blind, weak, and pregnant~"

"I am so- I deeply regret having done that" Black Heart mumbled, for the first time breaking his rule on not apologizing. "Had I known you were pregnant, I wouldn't have done that" the Jersey Devil grunted apologetically. "I only fight honorable foes, it was unsporting of me to attack you" Black Heart growled before sitting on his haunches and flicking his tail idly

 Gloomfury listened to what Razor Sharp had to say about the beast. It was going to make his own planes even more complicated, bud he nods. "Aye sir, I'll do this for you. But you'll need to explain exactly what I need to do. Cause charms ain't really in my expertise I'm sorry to say."

"Well, every superstitious relic that wards off evil is kept here in this study desk," Razor Sharp explained. "All I need you to do is take them one at a time and keep track of which charms work on Black Heart and which don't. It's simple enough. In the meantime, I must hurry and find if Ocean Wind has found us a route to the Cascade Sea yet."

 

As the captain left his secret stash of relics in Gloomfury's care he went back to the door and looked outside. The commotion from earlier seemed to have died down; which displeased him immensely because he preferred to know everything happening aboard his ship. His eyes, though, fell upon the mast in the center of the deck and he saw the huge crack running up it and threatening to snap it in half.

 

"Who could be responsible for this!?" he exclaimed as he approached.

Gloomfury took some of the charms ans heads out to meet Black Heart. He look for him in some parts of the ship until hr finds him talking to a mare he hasn't met yet. He walks up to them. "You must be black heart, I'm Gloomfury the first mate." He then turns to the mare. "I'm sorry miss but I don't know your name."

Razor Sharp took note of the damaged mast and decided he'd get to that as soon as he could, but he wanted to prioritize their arrival to the Cascade Sea before the crew got restless. Searching the ship as fast as he could, he found Ocean Wind, the Navigator, and found her below deck. Hoping he wasn't interrupting he approached the mare and confronted her.

 

"Ocean Wind, I need to ask if you have found the first island we must visit," he said. "Even an approximate guess would be good, since we only need to be going to right direction right about now. So, have you deciphered anything on the coin that I gave you?"

Moon just giggled a bit as she was set down then came up to pet him. "Nah babe, it's alright. I still want to fight you, just not too hard or anything. So c'mon, get up and lets wrestle a bit! I want to see your strength Black Heart~"

But before they could ever do anything, Gloomfury came up and interrupted so she turned and looked to him. "I'm Moon Wave, your mental doctor! You can just call me Moon for short if you please, but anything is fine."

Ocean looked around at Razor Sharp and sighed. "I would have definitely had the right island if somepony hadn't cracked the mast...and if somepony else hadn't vomited everywhere. I'll go look at my maps again. I've managed to find a few but I'm sure I'll be able to narrow it down to...at the very least...two." She said, looking over her shoulder at Wind Whistle. "The lesson will have to wait till later. Sorry hon." She patted his shoulder before trotting up onto the deck, then climbing up the mast.

After the meeting with Gloomfury, Moon immediately tackled the Jersey Devil without warning down to the ground. She put him in a small headlock and smirked. "You know you're not supposed to let your guard down at all times, right? It's something I learned when I went blind~"

"I know how to make it fair, I won't use either of my claws or my magic" Black Heat grinned cockily before rushing in with a barrage of kicks and tail-swipes

Moon felt the blow to the back and yelped a bit, but kept her smile. She turned around when Black Heart was off guard and tackled him back to the ground with both hooves at his throat and the back ones digging into his pelvis. "You deserved that for suffocating me, it's only fair!"

"Yes, you might be using a half or even fifth of your true effort" Black Heart deduced before grinning excitedly. "However, even with that in mind, I estimate that 50%, a paltry half of my strength, should be enough to defeat you" Black Heart grinned before zipping forward with a headbutt and knocking Moon back. The Jersey Devil slid underneath her and kicked up, sending Moon into the air

"I can tell you're not being serious with me, are you?" the Jersey Devil realized all of a sudden by her relaxed attitude. "Yes, you might be using a half or even fifth of your true effort" Black Heart deduced before grinning excitedly. Then she dive bombed to Black Heart and grabbed him, sending the two off the boat and down into the water. From there she got him in another head lock and began to slightly strangle him, but enough so that he didn't actually choke hard like on a noose or whatever.

'Well that escalated quickly.' Gloomfury thought to himself as he left to leave the two to their fight. He walks around a bit checking to see if anything was in good shape.After a that he heads to the bow and sees Ocean climbing up the cracked mast. He walks up to the mast. "Hey Ocean what are you doing?"

"Bah!" Black Heart roared as he broke out of the hold with a flip and crawled back onto the ship. "So, if that is the case, this means that we'll be roughly equal at full strength" Black Heart muttered as he shook off the water on him. "Hmm, it's been a long time since I've been so excited" the Jersey Devil grinned before launching forward with shoulder tackle

"We may be equals but your stamina is dropping far faster" the Jersey Devil laughed before sweeping her legs out from under her with his tail and catching her in a back-breaker as she came down. Black Heart pressed his foot against her back while holding her fore-legs in place.

Moon yelped again in pain as she was pinned down. This time it really hurt, and didnt want to wrestle anymore. "Okay, okay, you win! Just, stop please.. This hurts a lot now, I just wanted to wrestle playfully.." She stopped resisting and began to pant a bit now."

"Still ,despite your loss, you're quite strong" the Jersey Devil praised surprisingly. "You just need to work on your stamina and skill" Black Heart said arrogantly before going underneath the sail and taking a nap

"That's because I never really fight.." Moon replied while struggling to get back up. She felt a pain around her body as she limped away and lied down near the front of the ship. After a minute or two, she began to make the sounds of crying, and the pony really was lightly.
