Tempest walked through the Oria mountain range, as the sun began to rise over the horizion. It had been some time since he joined the academy, and he always enjoyed seeing the faces of eager, young dragon riders. "I might as well start heading back." He thought, before jumping off the cliff.

 

A black dragoness noticed her falling rider, and smirked. "Well, that didn't take to long." She thought, before flying after him. The dragoness soon caught up to her rider and put him on her back.

 

The young man simply laughed, as he got adjusted. Tempest then steered his dragon in the direction of the academy."Well, that was fun. Don't you agree, Dark."

 

Dark rolled her eyes. "I still don't see why you have to throw yourself off a cliff every time we come here."

 

Tempest shrugged, and smiled. "That's actually the fun part." He said. "Plus, you were there to catch me."

 

Dark shrugged, and recalled the first time she had met Tempest. "He still hasn't changed much since that day." She thought, before she noticed the academy. It was a somewhat large structure that had been built in the center of a ring of mountains. It was built to accommodate mainly riders, while dragons either made a nest in one of the caves, or slept in the academy's stables. Dark had actually claimed one of the larger and higher caves near the academy as her nest.

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

(OOC: I'll enter as Thunder Dash. This seems like a very cool RP! Thunder Dash is very experienced with Dragons)

 

Thunder Dash was flying fast with his Dragon he named Shock. It was a electric hybrid. "Well, looks like it's time to go over everything  I've learned." Thunder Dash said. "Ugh, this is gonna be fun..." Shock thought as they entered the academy. As the two approached the runway, Thunder Dash slid off and flew next to Shock as they landed on the gravel runway.

Dark landed on the ground, and noticed the two new arrivals.

 

Tempest jumped to the ground and noticed Thunder Dash and Shock, before walking towards the two. "Well, I wasn't expecting anyone to be up this early. Anyway, my name is Tempest, and the dragon behind me is Dark Opal. Welcome to the academy." He said. "So, what brings you two here?"

(Tell me if you want Mr. Bonecrusher to speak English or translate his German to English, he is from Stuttgart after all.)

 

Mr. Bonecrusher was riding on top of Dukaan, his dragon, onward toward some sort of mountain range; the dragons powerful wings ravaging the air with their powerful beats.  "Wir nähern uns dem Gebirgszug, hoffen lassen Sie uns, es ist der richtige Platz! (We are nearing the mountain range, let's hope it's the right place!) yelled the dragon rider over the wind that whooshed at his face with great speed.  "Yes, let us hope it is,"  replied Dukaan in his usual deep voice, "Shall I find a place to land?"  the dragon asked his rider.  "Ja, ich werde ebenso durchsuchen! (Yes, I shall search as well!)"

'If we half our velocity, then apply a 40 degree angle to our landing posture, then maybe if we apply a steady flow of air underneath the wing...'

Ravek was doing the math and calculations of flying in her head as her dragon was flying on automatic. Creature was already a strong flyer, and did all of what Ravek was doing in her head, by herself.

Creature let her rider do her own thing, keeping their link connected but ignoring it. She always kept it there with her rider, whenever they went flying or sometimes when they were just together on the ground. It was always best to stay connected with your rider in case of an attack or they were in trouble. 

'Creature.'

'Yes young one?'

'I reckon thats it there'

Ravek pointed towards the area that looked like that was where they needed to be, but of course Creature was having trouble trying to see where her rider was pointing too. Of course her rider would forget that she was on her back, and that it was terribly hard to see something being pointed out when it was done behind their back. 

Though Creature could see the place within the mountain ranges that looked like a place of learning, and she tilted her wings and headed for the place.

The green dragon landed near the other two dragons that were there, and they seemed to be chatting amongst themselves.  Ravek jumped off Creature, and landed with a slight thud as her boots hit the gravelly floor. 

Ravek walked towards the other dragons and riders, while creature stayed where she landed, but made sure to move if her rider got too far. 

"Hey Fellas, sorry if I'm late. Did I miss anything?"

"You're not late or anything." Thunder Dash said to the rider who just landed. "And who may you be?" Thunder Dash asked as he and Shock walked closer to the rider. Shock let out a small growl. "It's okay shock. It's just another rider and his dragon." Thunder Dash said as he turned back to face the rider.

Ravek looked slightly surprised at what the rider that had spoken to her said. HE? Well.

She knew that she could have been mistaken for boy with her cool riding cap on, or the fact that her voice was a little bit deeper than the average girl's. But surely there were other signs she was a girl, though Ravek didn't put it past the rider. She did look a bit boyish, but that was kind of expected. Many of dragon rider clothes were for guys, and the female stuff wasn't really her style, or would be good for riding at all. 

But she still responded to the other riders, making sure to correct the other riders use of terms.

"I'm glad that I ain't late, I was expecting some kind of storm or something to hit us on the way here. But instead we just got a couple of gusty winds. But I'm Ravek, and this is my dragon, Creature. "

Ravek smiled as Creature came up to her, and went down low and lifted up her large head against her rider's arm. Trying to lift it to well past of where an arm was meant to go, but instead Ravek grabbed hold of one of her neck spikes. She was a foot off of the ground when she spoke next.

"And I am A girl if you haven't noticed, I would rather like it better if I were called by the correct terms. Actually both of us would"

A smile crept onto the rider's lips, of course she was hanging onto her dragon's head/neck and still be talking like she never left the ground

"My bad." Thunder Dash said. Shock faceclawed, for he knew that Thunder Dash gets his genders right 99.8% of the time. Thunder Dash let out a snicker when Shock faceclawed.

 

""By the way, I did not get your name." Thunder Dash said as he patted Shock on the head. Shock let out a light sigh.

Ludving Von Bonecrusher then spotted a perfect spot to land, and pointed it out towards his dragon.  "I think I see a place where others are gathering with their dragons, land there and we'll go meet them; we've made it!" Mr. Bonecrusher yelled with vigor as he fist pumped into the air.  "Alright then, hold on though; this might not be the best landing!"  Mr. Bonecrusher braced himself as Dukaan closed his wings to his sides, and went in for a nose dive, or so his rider thought.  As he picked up speed the ground became more detailed and the size of some of the dragons came into view; judging from their sizes, Dukaan is the largest one here...so far.  Still going in hot for a landing, Dukaan spread his massive wings once more and, to Mr. Bonecrusher's surprise, used them almost like a para-glider  and then after about 12 second, he finally landed.  As the dragon lowered himself, Ludving Von Bonecrusher hopped off of his scaled friend and walked off towards the others, hopping some-one would not avoid him for once.

Shock turned to the other rider who had just arrived and eyed the other dragon sharply. He let out a small growl, which caught Thunder Dash's attention. "Shock, you don't have to be that agressive, ease up a little there. You're gonna end up scaring everypony!" Thunder Dash said trotting next to Shock. "I'm so sorry about that. Shock gets like that when faced with new people he's never met." Thunder Dash explained.

Ravek was still holding tightly to creature when the new dragon and rider landed. So when Ravek's dragon moved her head to look at the newcomers, Ravek was swung wildly with her head.

"Whoo"

Ravek was actually a little bit dizzy from the movement, but after a second or two she could see properly again. And Ravek was quick to comment on things before she was left behind in her hanging position.

 

"You obviously have barely any hearing left in ya. I already said my Name was Ravek, and that this was Creature."

Ravek lavishly pointed out her dragon with her free hand, like something a butler or a special announcer would do.

But Ravek then looked at the newcomer, a welcoming smile on her face.

 

" 'Ello, I'm Ravek, and this is my dragon Creature. Mind telling us your introductions?"

"Well me?" Thunder Dash asked turning back to Ravek. "I'm Thunder Dash. This is my dragon named Shock. He's an electric hybrid, which is extremely rare. Found him as a baby in a cave and secretly raised him. Of course, I never brought him around my small village. Had to go out five miles to his cave." Thunder Dash explained.

Ravek looked at Thunder, yep that was his name from now on. Ravek was calling him Thunder. 

Though she rolled her eyes, of course she wasn't talking to him. She was looking at the new guy who came in with a nice landing, but of course he must've jumped the gun.

"Nice to meet ya Thunder, but I already gathered what your dragon's name. You keep apologising for him. I was talking to the newcomer of course."

Ravek again looked at the newcomer.

"So, mind you introducing yourself? Before your budded by someone else."

 

Ravek smiled again, and oddly enough she was still hanging from her dragon. Probably an odd site to the others around her. 

Creature was content to keep her rider above the ground, and it did amuse her on how she just dangled from the base of her head.

Tempest smirked as a few more people showed up. He glanced at Ravek, and nodded. "My name is Tempest, and the dragoness behind me is Dark Opal. We actually came here when we were younger, and love it."

 

Dark glanced at the others, and simply shrugged. "They seem nice. I might as well make a few friends." She thought.

Orion flew through the mountains, with his rider on his back. "The academy should be around here." He thought. "Do you think we'll make a few friends, Shadow?"

 

Shadow smirked and nodded. "It shouldn't be that hard." She thought. "I just hope we'll finally be accepted. We've been thrown out of so many towns, that it's hard to keep track of."

 

The dragon nodded, and sighed. "I agree." He said, as he noticed the dragon academy. He soon landed and saw a group of both dragons and riders. Orion then walked over, with Shadow at his side.

Ravek smiled to the guy who was here before she walked in on the scene, but he had only now decided to talk.

She was still hanging onto Creature, but with her spare hand she gave an enthusiastic smile.

"Nice to meet ya Tempest, and you too Dark Opal."

 

Ravek grabbed the edge of her riding cap and gave a small nod/salute to the dragon, she could tell that the dragon was a female so she deserved the rider's attention.

 

Though Ravek was facing on way, facing the other riders of course. Creature was watching the other way, originally looking into space. But then a dragon and a female rider  walked over towards them, and Creature could easily figure out that they were here for the academy. 

'Little one, I believe you have another to introduce too. Another female rider too.'

Ravek got the mental note from her dragon, creature could speak with her mouth. But when she just had to talk to her rider she just went through a mental link, and since she always kept it open it was just easier to do. 

So Rav spun herself around to face the new-newcomers that had walked in.

" 'Ello there. I be Ravek and this here my Dragon Creature, mind if you make your introductions?"

Thunder Dash walked towards Tempest to introduce himself. "Hello, my name is Thunder Dash. That is a nice dragon you've got there. What's her name?" Thunder Dash asked. Shock had a little flirty look on his face as he looked at the beautiful dragoness as it looked around.

Shadow smiled slightly, and nodded. "My name is Shadiw, and the dragon is called Orion. It's good to know that there are other dragons here." She said.

 

Orion noticed Dark, and was slightly interested in her. He also noticed how Shock was looking at her, and felt his claws digging into the stone.

Tempest glanced at Thunder, and was slightly suspicious. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Thunder. My dragon is called Dark Opal." He said.

 

Dark noticed Shock looking at her. She shrugged and walked away."I could use something to eat." She thought. Before she flew back to her cave, she flicked her bladed tail and cut down a tree with a six inch thick trunk.

Orion was slightly intimidated, but he figured it was directed more at Shock than at him. He then flew after Dark. "I just hope this works." He thought. "I don't want to take things to far."

 

Shadow noticed Orion fly after the female dragon. "He had better be careful." She thought.

Shock let out a sigh of disappointment. "It's okay Shock, she might warm up to you after a while. You don't have to be so rushy as to go for her the very first time you see her." Thunder Dash said patting Shock on the side. "She just looks so beautiful..." Shock thought.  "Well it seems like my dragon is kinda attracted to your...say...where's she going?" Thunder Dash asked pointing at the dragon that was flying away. @,

Dukaan came closer to his rider and when he was close enough, stopped. Ludving Von Bonecrusher decided to introduce himself and his dragon, and with a great amount of a German accent in his voice said. "Hello everybody, my name is Ludving Von Bonecrusher, and this is my dragon friend, Dukaan. It is a pleasure to meet you all." His voice was great, masculine and deep but he spoke firmly.

(I'm at school right now on my phone, don't expect anything else until I get back home.)

Tempest glanced at Dark as she flew away, and turned his attention to Thunder. "She's probably heading back to her cave." He said. "She usually eats around this time. As for your dragon, just be sure that he doesn't hurt her." The young man then glanced at Ludving and Shadow, before he nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Speaking of which, y'all may want to drop off your bags. Breakfast is about to start, and it's first come first serve here. After that, you can register here in the headmasters' office

 

Dark soon landed at the mouth of her cave, and noticed Orion. "Why are you here?" She growled.

Orion sighed, and raised his front paws to show that he meant the dragoness no harm. "I'm not going to try anything." He said. "I just want to know a little more about you, so that I can at least try to be your friend." He said.

 

Shadow nodded, and walked into the academy. She soon found a spare room, and set her bags down. She then sat down on her new bed, and smiled. "This is definatly my new home." She thought.

Zercrux landed on the outcropping of the cliff with Baron on his back. "well we're here Zercrux, at least I think we are, where is everyone?"

"I'm not sure, are you positive this is the right place?"

Baron reached down with his metal arm and palmed the ground.

"I'm pretty sure this is the right place, I feel vibrations of something moving." Baron said in reply. "but I can't figure out where exactly everyone is.
