Tempest sighed. "I didn't exactly have the best life. My mom died before I was even one, and my dad was killed in some stupid fight." He said. "I turned to books for a way to escape the constant hell that was my life, and that's were I originally learned about dragons.

 

Dark glanced at Orion. "To be honest, I don't exactly know, but I'll tell you what I can. When Tempest was walking in the forest one day, he basically found my egg in a patch of grass. He looked for any signs of a nest, and when he couldn't find any, took my egg into a abandoned cave, and waited for it to hatch. After a few hours, I did, and you wouldn't believe how surprised Tempest was." She said, laughing slightly. "Anyway, everyday he would bring food to the cave, and spend the entire day with me. After a few years, I grew a bit to big for the cave, abd that's when Tempest and I moved to the academy."

"My dragon is named Shock. He's an electric hybrid. Been raising him ever since I was a little boy." Thunder Dash explained. On instinct, Shock stood up and fired an electric shock from his mouth straight into the air. "As you can see, he doesn't breathe fire. Instead, he wields electricity." Thunder Dash added.

Shadow sighed slightly, and nodded. "I'm sorry." She said. "I shouldn't have asked. At least you have a better life."

 

Orion nodded. "That doesn't sound so bad." He said. The dragon then shrugged, as the two entered the camp. "Hey, we're back." Orion then lit the fire and laid his deer on the ground.

as Baron and Zercrux were nearing the cave that Zercrux picked, Baron felt something wasn't right. "hey Zercrux do you feel ok? like do you feel like something bad is coming?"

"what an odd thing to ask Baron, what makes you s-"

just then a large brownish grey mass crashed into the two and sent them hurtling towards the ground. Baron fell to the left into some tree branches and Zercrux fell into a creek nearby. Baron had no idea what had just happened, he quickly jumped up and ran to where he saw Zercrux fall. when he got there Zercrux was fighting another Dragon. this one appeared Feral. it had no saddle and was much larger than Zercrux, at least as big if not bigger than Ludving's Dragon. Zercrux tried to slash at the Feral dragon with his claws but missed. the wild dragon reacted by hitting Zercrux and hurtling him into a rock wall.

"what is happening, why is this thing attacking us?" Baron thought to himself.

this dragon had its back to Baron and had its tail laying on the ground. Baron took this chance.

he charged at the dragon running up its tail, along its back and up to its neck. when he got close to the head he attacked.

"Dragon Fist!"

he shouted as he brought a downward punch with his metal arm onto the dragons mouth. the dragon was stunned just long enough for Baron to land and get over to his dragon.

"You okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine, what is going on?" Zercrux responded.

"I don't know, but what I do know is this is a big dragon and we cant fight it alone. we need help." Baron said as he grabbed a Philter from his belt.

The wild dragon regained control and charged at them.

Both of the dodged and Baron threw the Bottle at the rocks above them. the Bottle erupted with an explosion that caused some of the rocks to fall on the dragon. the sound was deafening and should have been able to be heard by everyone at or around the academy.

"that wont stop him for long, but hopefully some of the other riders we've met heard that." Baron said feeling tense.

"I say i like Schock already Thunder Dash. My name is Azura and my rider's name is Proteus."

"I'd say you "ride" me more than i "ride" you..." following that Azura laughed a bit followed by Proteus.

"See? Told you going outside and making friends would be good. You wouldn't want to be a weirdo riding a dragon right?"

"I guess not..."

Frost let out a small chuckle, "Well I never expected Shock to be the name for an electric dragon." he joked waving his hand in the air. "...but I must say I see very few electric dragons now a days, it's good to finally see one again." he said as Jaeger began to look Shock over, he sat in front of him and put on a half smile, "Hello Shock, my names Jaeger." he cooed happily, to wich Frost took as a surprise, "Well, Jaeger likes very few dragons do I guess yours is pretty lucky." he laughed

The feral dragon began to stir under the rocks

"Looks like it really didn't hold him for long." Zercrux said readying himself.

"Our only advantage would be to fly, that's where we are the best." Baron said.

"But we have no idea how fast it is, how can we be sure we can out fly it?" Zercrux said laying down so that Baron could mount him.

"We don't, but our best odds are in the sky." Baron replied

As he climbed on top of his dragon, the feral one rose out of the rubble and roared. "Let's go buddy." he said as he tapped his dragon's neck.

Zercrux launch himself into the air and seconds after the feral dragon was following them. Baron had no idea where to go, all he could do was try to fight this giant beast on his own.

Tempest nodded slightly, and smiled. "Yeah, that's true. If it hadn't had been for the academy, I wouldn't have had the chance to meet you." He said, blushing slightly. The young man then began to cook the deer. He glanced at the two dragons, and nodded. "You two can probably have the other two deer. I doubt Shadow and I can eat that much." He said.

 

Dark nodded, and nudged a deer over to Orion. She then walked over to the other uncooked animal, and began to eat.

Baron continued flying with Zercrux trying to get away from the dragon.

"Zercrux we have to try to get away from this damn thing."

just then a massive fire ball shot through the sky past them.

"Whoa! great he can breath fire." Zercrux said as 2 more fire balls shot past. "what do you want me to do? I'm ready for anything."

"we gotta go on the offensive, you know full well how to attack Zercrux, go ahead."

Zercrux smirked and flipped around. he shot 3 fireballs at the incoming dragon and made contact with its shoulder and underbelly.

"That didn't seem to work" Zercrux said.

"Don't worry we will be fine we just need someone else's help, we may not be able to beat it alone but we can last a long time without losing." Baron said not losing confidence, they were approaching the forest area and Baron felt hopeful that all the other rider's were still there. He had a plan, but he needed at least one other rider to carry it out.

Tempest smiled slightly, and nodded. "I agree." He said, before noticing two dragons fighting in the distance. "This can't be good." The young rider then got on top of Dark, and the two flew towards the fight.

Baron and Zercrux dodged another Fireblast, then swerved back into control.

"Yeah some help would be nice, i have a plan but i need you to distract this big guy here for me." He said as the dragon got closer.

"Think you can handle it?"

"I need you to make sure you keep him parallel to the ground. The top of his head is where he seems to be vunerable. His thick skull prevents me from hurting him anywhere else." Baron said Clarifying his idea.

Tempest smirked and nodded. "I think I get what you're planning." He said. The young man then glanced at the dragon, and drew his swords. "Dark, whenever you're ready."

 

Dark flew towards the dragon, and prepared to attack. "I just hope Baron knows what he's doing." She thought.

As Tempest and Dark proceeded to get the dragons attention Baron and Zercrux peeled off and got a look at the situation. Baron needed to quickly observe this dragon's movements.

"His reaction time isnt optimal. That's good that makes this plan all the more easy." Baron said.

"What are you planning Baron?"

"We are gonna beat this thing. Me and you will both attack it on the top of its head when there is an opening. You'll fly us up really high above the dragon , we will follow it from high above and try to remember its movements, then when we do you will put me in your claws and dive down. When you get close enough youll let me go, throwing me into the dragon's head. The momentum of the fall should allow me to knockout, or better yet, kill this dragon."

"I hope you know what your doing." Zercrux said flying up and following the Feral Dragon from above.

"Ha don't you worry Zercrux, im 75 percent sure this is gonna work!" Baron said making sure his Metal arm was ready.

"Wonderful." Zercrux said with sarcasm.

 

Zercrux then Connected to Dark's mind.

"Hey your Tempest's Dragon right?"

Dark was slightly surprised by Zercrux's entrance into her mind, and she mentally nodded. "Yes, I am." She said. "You must be the other rider's dragon. Do you mind if I ask who you are?"

 

Tempest sighed, as he and his dragon distracted the other dragon. "I just hope this doesn't take to long. Shadow and I still have to deliver those items." He thought.

"I'm Zercrux, i would ask who you are, but there is something i need you to do. Can you catch? I know it seems silly but just be ready to catch Baron for me if i can't." Zercrux said as he flew above them.

 

Baron was watching the big dragon while Zercrux spoke to Dark.

Dark nodded, and smiled."I won't let Baron fall." She said, reassuringly. She then turned her attention to the feral dragon, and shot a fireball at it."

 

Tempest smirked, as he drew his swords. He had an idea forming in his head, and wanted to see if it would work."

"We plan on going on a hunt little one. I think that about east of here has good grounds to find food."

Mr. Bonecrusher thought for a moment and then nodded "Alright then, lead the way you two.  We'll follow."  Dukaan beat his big, powerful wings and lifted into the air; waiting for the dragon and rider to lead the way to the place they had in mind.  "By the way, I don't think I caught your names, may I ask who you two are?" said the German muscle man.

"Zer? Are you gonna catch me when i go down to attack?" Baron asked him dragon.

"Hopefully, and if i dont ive already talked to the other rider's dragon and she said she would catch you if i couldn't." Zercrux replied. "Baron, are you sure that youll be able to take him down with one punch?." Zercrux said with concern.

"I'm not sure. But its the best chance we've got." He replied clenching his metal fist.

He then shouted," Hey Tempest! How you doing down there!?" Watching the rider and dragon attack the beast.

 Ravek grabbed one of Creature's spikes amongst her body and swung herself on top of her dragon, fitting in perfectly with her riding spot.

"I'm Ravek, and my dragon is Creature!"

Ravek introduced the two of them to the other pair, and then was whooshed up by creature as she took flight. A laugh escaped Ravek, flying was almost bliss and it was always fun. 

'We're heading east little one, mind telling the other two.'

Ravek looked towards the other two as creature rose up and she yelled out to them relaying Creature's Message

"Alright Males, TO THE EAST!"

Tempest glanced at Baron, and smirked. "We're fine, just hurry up and do something." He said."I don't know exactly how long we can keep this up." The young man then smirked, slightly.

 

Dark rolled her eyes, and dodged out of the way as the dragon swiped at her. "Oh, ye of little faith." She said, smiling slightly.

Shadow noticed Tempest leave, and sighed. "I might as well wait for them to come back." She thought to herself. The young rider then glanced at Orion. "What do you think?"

 

The dragon glanced at his rider. "We should at least see what they're up to." He said.

 

Shadow nodded, and got on Orion. The dragon then flew into the air, in the direction of Tempest and the others.

"OK!" "Come on Zercrux. lets do this!" Zercrux and baron flew up high above the feral dragon.

"Ready Zercrux?"

"ready Baron!" and they dropped. Zercrux was holding Baron in his claws ready to throw him at the feral. Zercrux shot a blue fire bolt at the feral to stun it.

Baron and Zercrux drew closer and closer Baron yelled. "Throw me now!" and Zercrux hurled him at the dragon. Baron was about to close his eyes when suddenly a bright small light was in front of his face. it soon dimmed and looked like a small blue crystal, something in his head possessed him to grab it and when he did he felt a surge of energy pulse through him. with this newfound energy he shout. "Super Dragon Fist!" with that his metal fist turned blue and collided with the top of the Feral Dragons head. the force of the punch sent out a shockwave and knocked Baron and the Feral dragon into free-fall..

Dark noticed Baron falling, and flew after him. She caught him, just as he was about to hit the ground, The feral dragon wasn't so lucky, though. "Well, that could've been worse." She thought, before putting Baron on the ground, and landing..

 

Tempest shrugged, as Dark landed. He then got off, and stretched. "Well, that was interesting." He thought.

"thanks." baron said dusting himself off. he looked over where the Feral dragon had landed and ran in that direction.  when he came out of the trees he saw a long path cut into the ground where the dragon crashed and slid. he looked to the end of it and saw the dragon.

"Zercrux come here you need to see this." Baron said to his dragon.

Zercrux soon landed by his rider and they both walked over to the thought to be dead dragon.

"Tempest you better get over here!" Baron yelled. He was looking at the dragon's head. there was a big indent where Baron had hit it. It was for sure dead.

Baron had remembered the stone that had appeared and opened his hand. it was still there. he quickly put it inside his pocket and examined the dragon further.

Tempest arrived at the site, and was stunned when he saw the dragon. "Damn. I didn't want it to come to this." He muttered to himself. The young man then noticed Shadow and Orion, approaching.

 

Dark glanced at Tempest, and sighed. "I know how you feel." She said. "There are already a few dragons in this world, and that number doesn't seem to be rising anytime soon." She thought.
