ok remember wen rainbowdash wen to the academy right we all do but shes not a wonderbolt yet so im thinking how do we know she will pass and become a wonderbolt for all we know she fails and gets kicked out but...well vary unlikly well do you think she will become a wonderbolt or do you think she will flunk out of the academy?

Um, could she fail based off what she's done so far?  not blood likely.

The upside if dash did fail i could see her friend suggestion starting her own flight team.

 

I mean lets be honest, Rain bow dash is better than a dozen wonder bolts from what i've seen.

When I think about it. Rainbow Dash can never be a Wonderbolt until one of the other 12 either retires, gets injured or dies in an accident or something. and even then it would have to be a female member of the 12.

 

Other flight teams must exist. The wonderbolts can't be the best stunt flyers if their the ONLY stunt flyers... that's like saying your undefeatable yet never fighting anyone.

 

So far the only other 'team' we've seen are the Shadowbolts tho wheither they exist other than a mere illusion we don't know. However Rainbow Dash' memory must be good for her to recall the detail of their flightsuits.

Only time will tell, if she will go back to the academy to attempt to become a Wonderbolt again. Either that, or she will wait until the opportunity opens up for her to join them.

Just leave it there as something to come back to, honestly that's something they probably should done by now.  Take a bunch of ponies slap them in a different outfit, new name, bam.

 

But yeah we might get the running gag of the wonder bolts being the only flight team, which if it is, it's kinda poorly delivered so far.

Yes but arent  the shadowbolts are just the dead wonderblots and if so in the show it refers to an "olipics" of some sort mabey that's were they get the tilte of best stunt flyers in eqestria

yes i will have to look into this more but i dont remeber them reveling eny other teames well besides cloudsdale if im corect i do belive that they did mensen cantorlot...

I also personally don't believe Clouddale is the only sky-city either, Rainbow claims it to be the greatest city in the sky, compared to what exactly? We see no other sky-cities on the map.

Well ther is lost pegusus but were also frogeting the rest of the world like the place were zecora come's from and other so if ther is, as we say an olipics then why only include eqestria wen ther so much more then just eqestria right?

so, for all we know thers hundreds of "Sky-citys" we as the fans dont know about yet.

Before, I would've said she'd fail, but if the writers are willing to make Twilight an alicorn and a princess, I don't doubt they'd avoid having Rainbow Dash become a wonderbolt.

I've never liked the idea of "we're not gonna let it happen just cause it would ruin the plot."

In fact that's always pissed me the hell off.

 

No major development, no relationships,

Main characters, hamster wheel, more episodes.

 

The bigger excuse that set me into orbit was "But if we have the characters on the show achieve anything at all it might in alienate the fans."

I'm happy for dash for getting the progress.

MLP shouldn't be the venture brothers were everything is about failure and disappointment.

(not that i'm against failure, in fact I'd love to see an episode or 2 on it in mlp) but not as the non stop theme.

Ok, even for the sake of the show and plot or whatnot, she is obviously the best fit for a wonderbolt.

 

1. She is the only pony to currently have performed a sonic rainboom and only 1/2 know rainbow ponies.

2. Princess Celestia has proclaimed her as arguably the best flier in equestria

3. She has saved the wonderbolts and done what they could not countess times.

4.  She broke just about every record with ease at the Wonderbolts Academy and even proved the CAPTAIN of the wonderbolts wrong.

 

Those 4 are just a few of the many times she has shown she is already better than most wonderbolts.

I think Rainbow  Dash should quit pursuing the Wonderbolts and join a lesser known team or start her own. We all know she definitely has the ability to be on the Wonderbolts. But she's too independent. Too much of a leader. Dash isn't a follower at all. If she were to join the Wonderbolts, she couldn't  be anything but captain. 

 

But the Wonderbolts are already very well known. I think there would be so much more honor and glory in joining a lesser team and bringing them out from the shadows into fame. Dash would SO have the potential to assemble a team that's better than even her idols.

 

And think of the competition that could come out of that. I mean, every year, there would be a clash of the titans of sorts. It would be two of the most amazing teams in Equestrian history to duke it out in the air! People would come from all corners of the world to see the two teams go at it.
