As Bay's tail wrapped around Sunny's, once again a nervous chill crept down her spine. She couldn't help but turn and look at it, its blonde color and braided features wrapping and intertwining with her honey suckle tail. She smiled almost childishly...Is this here what I think it is?...Sunny wondered to herself.

Bayonets body was still moving on its own. She didn't know why this was happening. Maybe it was her, maybe she's doing it subconsciously. Or maybe it was Shivty pushing her to do it. She didn't know. As her lips got closer to Sunny's and her eyes close, Sunny turns her head at the moment where their lips should have touched, but Bayonet ends up kissing Sunny on her cheek instead.

As Bayonet's lips touched Sunny's cheek, it was like a thousand bursts of warmth and comfort exploded in her heart. At first, her sapphire eyes widened in fear before closing with a satisfied smile...yeah...this is it Sunny...As Bayonet's lips left, her face suddenly felt barren...empty, like it had lost some precious part of it. It was then Sunny turned and looked at Bayonet, her eyes exponentially being covered with a glassy water. The mare felt vulnerable...fearful, but for the first time in her life, that no longer mattered. This pony cared about her and that for some reason meant everything. A small tear fell down Sunny's face as her head and ears drooped. Then she looked up to Bayonet proudly, with the tear falling off her caramel chin, "Thank ya Bay, that meant the world to me ya know..." Then suddenly, Sunny moved in for the kiss she truly wanted, praying Bay felt the same.

The sudden kiss from Sunny knocks her back to her senses and her eyes go wide. But then she starts to let into the kiss and her eye starts to close as she leans into it. She puts a hoof on Sunny's cheek were she kissed her. She never kissed a mare before, let alone a mare she just met. But something about Sunny brings her joy, and it makes her want to be closer to her.She slowly pulls away and gives one more small kiss. "That meant more then the world to me."

Sunny blinked her eyes open as Bayonet spoke. The words she said seemed all too much like the stories that Sunny's Mah had read to her as a filly. "I..uh.." Sunny stuttered a little, looking for something to say to the wonderful mare whose twinkling eyes, she could no longer not stare into. "...what now...Bay...er, that is...where should we go now," she said, changing the subject even though she truly didn't want to. She wanted to tell Bay how wonderful she was, how beautiful her blonde mane and tan fur fitted so fantastically together, how it gave her so much happiness when she would smile....but she didn't know how to go about it. All the same, it was daylight. The pair had been out all night long and ponies were starting to come from their homes.

Bayonets mind was still buzzing. But her thought were clear enough for her to think clearly. She still stays close to Sunny with her tail still wrapped around hers. "Maybe we should head back toy the park. We should talk a little." She says as he stats leading them both to the park  while still staying close to her.

Sunny giggled a little as she smiled widely, "That'll be alright..." The mare felt so...belonging when Bay kept so close to her, guiding her to the park. The feeling was so new to her, unlike any other. Her Mah had once spoke of it, telling her that she'd know just like she did Pappy...and she believed she did. This was most definitely it...but how was that possible. She had just met Bay and hardly knew too much about her personally...but she knew. Sunny looked at Bay searchingly as the park came into view, excited yet nervous of what lied ahead.

When they reached the park Bayonet leads the under a tree and takes a seat while still staying close to Sunny. "Sunny, I know we just met. And we still don't know a lot about each other yet. But I fell really drawn to you. I don't know why, but I want to be close to you. I've never felt this way, ever." She says while looking at Sunny with caring eyes.

Sunny gulped a little, nervous as ever but to hear Bayonet say that was like sweet music in her ears.  She then placed her hoof upon the tan mare's chest, holding it there softly. "I like you too Bay...I agree that we've only know another for about a few hours...but...I really really do," she admitted proudly, feeling a short burst of confidence from Bayonet's confession. Sunny then tapped Bay's chest lightly. "You've got ya a beautiful heart...one I'd like to share with ya someday," she said happily, looking deeply into Bay's eyes again.

Bayonets smile grows as she puts a hoof on the one Sunny put on her chest."You do too Sunny. And I can't wait to get to know you better." Then a thought hits her and her smile slowly shrinks. 'I have to tell her about Shivty.' She thought, worrying on how Sunny will react.

The touch from Bay's hoof was very comforting to Sunny. She could feel the connection radiating from it like the warm scene of a fireplace. Sunny smiled at Bay, expressing her happiness in her response...but then joining her in her sudden change of mood in wonder. "W-what's wrong Bay? Did I say too much? I'm sorry..." she apologized worriedly.

"No, no. It's not that." She says quickly. "It's just... I have something I should tell you. Something important." She stats to get a little nervous. It not easy for her to talk about this with anyone. Let alone with a mare she just met and have strong feelings for. "And it's a little hard for  me to talk about, but you should know."

Sunny expected something really bad but she didn't know what. Of course there was always a catch...How could a mare like her ever find that special somepony?...but Bay already meant so much to her. Whatever it was...Sunny felt prepared to accept it, after all, Bay accepted her. "Oh...I thought I did somethin'...What is it Bay?" She asked curiously, tilting her head cutely.

Bayonet wasn't sure how to tell Sunny. This was the first time she had to tell someone something this important.She still holds o to Sunny's hoof bit grips it a little closer to her. 'Maybe I should be direct.' She thought, 'I think it would be the easiest way to tell her.' She then starts to unwrap her braid from her neck and showing the rope scar wound it.

When Bayonet removed the wrap, Sunny's face widened in shock, "Wha...What happened Bay?!" Quickly, she moved closer to her, now grasping her hoof that held her's with her other one. "Did somepony do this to you?" she inquired fearfully, worried of what answer she'd soon receive. The mare searched Bay's eyes in wonder, Sunny's fear easy to see.

Bayonet shakes her head, "No one did this to me. I did it to myself a while back. You see, I was adopted by donkeys and cause of this I didn't have  any friends. But I didn't mind, I love my parents very much." She says with a smile. Then a sad look comes on her face. "One day when I was walking home with mama, a group of thugs attack her. I had to watch them beat her to death while I could't do anything. I told everyone what happen and who did it. But no one would do anything. I became depressed and I tried to hang myself, but I did it wrong so I just pass out. Then she saved me."

Sunny could hardly believe what Bayonet was telling her...how unfortunate and disastrous it was...The mare did think as she scooted even closer to Bay, signifying that she was still there even as she looked up the scar that lined Bayonet's neck. "I'm...very sorry Bay. I've never been through anything like that...but if it means anything, I would have helped you. I would have been there for you..." She tenderly promised, kissing Bay upon the forhead before smiling at her. "...but..." Sunny suddenly remembered the last part of Bay's words, "If your mother died Bay...how did she save you...Oh, you mean your friend Shivty. So that's how she saved your life...I still haven't met her yet."

 This was the hard part. "W-well, you see. Shivty is my other half, so to speak. I have something called dissociative identity disorder or split personality disorder. Shivty was born through all of my negative emotions. And she first cam to be while I was stile hanging on the rope. She used all her strength to pull our neck out of the noose. So that how I got this." She lifts Sunny's hoof to her scar. "And you'll get to meet her. We switch when we sleep. So after I fall asleep it will be her turn to wake up and use the body."

Sunny looked at Bay confusingly, feeling the scar upon her neck and imagining the rope tearing at it. She was so beautiful in Sunny's eyes that she couldn't believe her to do something of that nature. "Dissocia...order...what now? You mean...I won't be able to see you?" Her ears drooped sadly as she looked at Bay, "B-but...what about help? Can we get you that?" she asked pleadingly, tears almost coming to her eyes. "No matter what though...I want to continue to see ya Bay...you...mean too much to me already..."

Bayonet starts stroking Sunny's mane soothingly to calm  her down. "You mean a lot to me as well Sunny. And I'm not going away forever, I'll always be here." A sad look come on her face. "And I've had 'help' before. After a week when Shivty came to be I was put into a mental hospital for four years. It was the worst time of my life." She hated ever second she was in the hospital. But a smile comes on her face." But I grew to like Shivty and we became close like sisters. She is part of me and I am of her. And you might end up liking her too.I am one pony but with two selves. Just remember: I'll always be here." She leans forward and gives Sunny a loving kiss.

Bay seemed very reassuring to Sunny, who in return nodded slowly, "I understand...Hopefully she's as wonderful as you Bay..." she said worriedly, but looking to Bayonet with a slight smile. It wasn't the first time she had to say goodbye, even if it was only temporary. Sunny never liked it though. She then wrapped her hooves around Bayonet and rested her caramel head upon her chest, feeling the steady thump of Bayonet's heart. It was soothing to Sunny: knowing that she had found the pony she had never thought she would find. Of course Bay had her flaws, but that was beautiful the Sunny.

Bayonet smiles and keeps stroking Sunny's mane lovingly. "Well, she is nice. Be she can be a little... abrasive. ANd her timper can sometimes get the better of her. And she likes to drink. But other then that she's very nice. And I have no doubt she like you. I can talk to her in our sleep so I'll be able to tell her about you."

Bayonet giggles from Sunny nuzzling into her chest and from being called a city pony again."Like I said: I'm no city pony. And I have camped out before. Mostly during my training. I had to lat out in the wild by myself for two years. But at least it was a clear and warm night."

Sunny smiled at Bay happily before brushing her mane back and looking up at the tree, a few birds chirping then flying away. Looking back to Bayonet, she chuckled a little at their brief silence, almost still wondering if Bayonet was real.
