"A-Ambrose" she whispered. "Whatt is yourss?" She asked back. If she could become friends with at least one pony she would open up to the group. It was hard work though, not collapsing on the ground and hiding from others. This pony seemed nice.

"The name's Midnight Blade." It seemed like most ponies already are out of their elevators. "I suppose you don't know what's going on either."

The warehouse they were in had a monitor between the big door and the magenta one.

 

Midnight nodded his head towards the screen. "Seems like that's where Zero will show up."

" I'm End Game. How did you figure out the solution to the puzzle? I was completely blanking on it..."

End Game gives Midnight a quizzical look, " Why do you think Zero will appear at all? Who are you anyway?"

"Hope you heard my name the first time. Anyway, Didn't Zero say he'd explain some rules after everypony got out? He'll most likely appear on a screen again like he did in the elevators." Midnight sighed, another pony jumping to conclusions.

 

"It's basic logic. Hope you understand."

Midnight looked around. There were a total of six elevators.

"I guess there should be twelve ponies considering the amount of elevators. We're still missing some if I guessed right that is."

After looking around for a few moments, contemplating on what had just happened, Split made for the opening at the top of what he now knows is an elevator.

 

*sigh*..."I don't think I can muster enough strength to jump up there... not like this... WAIT! He said that there are others up there!... I guess I should call for help."

 

"Hello? Anyone else up there? I could really use some assistance here, if no pony minds..." Split called up into the opening, hoping for an answer.

(Okay, i'm confused. What is the riddle?)

 

Arcane rolled his eyes. He didn't bother to really look at anything anymore, he was too busy not caring. Ambrose obviously had no clue what she was doing, and seemed to shy to work with. 'How is anypony expected to work with another pony if they are too shy? What kind of game is this...' he thought. "We're never getting out of here, are we?" he mumbled.

End Game shakes his head, "I didn't manage to catch it the first time, so would you please deign to repeat it? As for the number of ponies, I was alone, so your assumption is incorrect."

Ambrose stood back up greaftul the End Games attention had been tunred away. She would rather talk with him later, alone. She didn't want to draw attention with the solving of the riddle. End Game seemed nice. She would talk to him later.

After hearing another pony's voice that could help, Split replied. "Yes! If it is at all possible, I would like someone to assist me in escaping this elevator. I am afraid I cannot escape by myself. If it is at all possible, I would greatly appreciate it!"

 

"Although, if HE would show up, I wouldn't need to worry about it. But I know he will, right when I don't need him to show up..." Split thought to himself.

Since it seemed like somepony was stuck in his own elevator Midnight decided to help. He used a simple spell to create a rope and tossed it onto the ceiling of the room the pony was stuck in. 

"Can you see the rope?!" Midnight asked loudly.

 

It could take a while but eventually the rope would fall into the room.

Sure enough, a rope was lowered from the opening. 

 

"Y-Yes, I see the rope! Thank you so much for your help!" Split called up to the unknown voice who supplied him with a way out of his prison of an elevator. Keeping a tight grip on the rope, Split finally managed to escape.

 

"Well, that's one obstacle cleared. Out of Celestia knows how many. No idea how much longer before HE finally takes over... or until we finally escape..."

"U-Um, uh, as far as I was aware of, there was only me and, uh, I believe his name was Chivalry." Split told End Game, pointing towards the other pony who was in there with him only moments ago.

 

"Oh, my name is Persona Split. Now, may I ask who helped me out of this elevator?"

Hooves clicking to the concrete, Terse Tranquility escapes her cell. Ignoring the other ponies, she surveys the new room intently. Around one of her forehooves is a red bracelet. "Solo huh? Just what I like to be," she says, murmuring to herself, rather than speaking to anyone in particular. "Now to get out of here."

"Good, now that everypony is here I can finally start to explain the rules." A familiar voice ecoed through the room.

The big screen went on and once again Zero appeared. "Now if you'd all please get over here it'd make explanation much easier."

 

Midnight went towards Zero. "What's going on?"

"Keep silent! I told you I'd explain the rules."

 

Lightning silently got over to the screen as well, but stayed somewhat further away to avoid contact.

"Hmm..." mumbles Tranq. "Drugged and dragged and there are rules?" She ambles towards the screen, scrutinizing Zero. "And from a rabbit no less. Curiouser and curiouser. I hope you'll at least be compensating us for our time." She continues to observe the room looking for hints on how to get out, while waiting for the rabbit to start.
