Lewis smiled a little then looks around at the attention being attracted. "R-really it's no big deal!....." Lewis's smile disappears and is replaced with a slight frown. "I...um.... I-I'm sorry but... I couldn't help you with that one...." He looks down a bit. "S-see... I-I'm in the same predicament... I only got here yesterday also but my friend Twilight said I could stay the night... But I don't think I'll ask her tonight... I don't wanna bother her in her studies... S-sorry.."

"It's alright.." Crimson was upset by the news, and panicking on the inside. I-I still need a place to sleep too...."  He silently calculated how many bits he had left and how much a room costs. "I-I think I could pay for the both of us if you don't have any bits."

"Ah, Canterlot huh? I used to live their as well, though I enjoy Ponyville a little more. But, if it's inspiration you need then you came to the right place, there a plenty of areas where somepony can find inspiration, what type of inspiration do you need?"

"Let's see... uh, I think that I need to find some place peaceful, somewhere I could find good scenery to draw."Crude Sketch answered back "Maybe a lake, like the one near my new house. I know the way there so you can follow me, if you'd like. I really need to get my baggage anyway."

 

Crude Sketch approached the carriage, carried his baggage with magic, and said farewell to the guards that escorted him as he gave them a piece of paper. He said a few words to the guards.

 

"Goodbye you two, here, a little gift to hang on your wall." He said.

 

"What is this exactly?" one of the guard asked

 

"It's a sketch of you two. Now go on, you might get fired out of being absent for work."

 

The pegasus guards flew off out of sight as soon as the ted unicorn said those words. Crude Sketch then went towards Flying Ace and said:

 

"Well, are ya coming or what?"

"Well, okay then," he says, then turns to the waitress "Madame, I would like some imported red wine." The waitress nodded and went off to get the wine, he then turns back to Autumn Moon, "So if you don't mind me asking, Lulu was almost like a mother to you, sí?" He was wondering what having a parent was like.

Her smile fades"Yeah...She was...She was a mother to all of us." She looks out the window at the forest that conceals her home"I miss her...and my family"She sighs"It's been so long since I've seen them. I never did find out what they did with themselves, what they're lives were like...without me"She says not realizing she's speaking out loud.

Their little lunchtime had become a little sad, "I was planning to find them, but I think that it might be for the best if I stay away from cloudsdale." He knew of the dangers of interacting with ponies from the life that should've been his own.

"Gracias, señora." Subject 888 says after the waitress sets his wine and food onto the table. "So if you don't drink, is it because you are to young?" He asks, the only ponies he has met outside of the facility who didn't drink were those who were too young, "or is it something else?"

"Well, that is understandable, I've just never met somepony who didn't like wine unless they were to young." He said as he poured himself a glass. After pouring the wine, he picked up the salad fork (somehow) and took a bite, "so, what is it that you for a living, señora Moon?" He asks to make sure things do not go too silent.

"Well so far I've been doing odd jobs around the town and the orchard farm nearby"She sighs"It's hard to get a job for me at the moment, it's summer now so I might get a job once Autumn comes"She takes a sip of her water thinking."Maybe I'll try to find permanent work at the orchard"

"Well, I've never worked on... Well, I haven't really worked that much at all, I mean I've worked to smuggle wine into the facility, and to escape but not much other then that." He says after sipping his drink. "So why do you live in the Everfree, do others give you a hard time because of it?"

"That sounds like a pun for poison oak" Subject 888 says, "Excuse me, señora, can I have a wine strap?" He asks (the wine strap is kinda like a saddle bag, except the "bag" is closer to the flank, there is only one hook to hold bottles instead of a bag) He then eats another Iris pedal, but it's almost too good to eat slowly. "So, how were things different where you are from?"

"Well, that definitely is a better life then I could have hoped for growing up, left and right my friends were executed for being failed experiments, I eventually stopped making friends there because I knew that it isn't worth it to lose them like that." He says in a saddened tone.

"You and me both. Sometimes I wonder what might happen if I tried to see my parents, maybe if I see them then will be happy, it that could have already replaced me." He has always thought of this possibility, but never accepted it because he wished it to be untrue. The waitress came back with his wife strap, and he put it on. "But, our lives went the way they did for a reason, or at least that's what I've always believed."

"If you could, that'd be great.." Crimson was a bit overwhelmed by this pony's generosity. Nobody's ever offered Crimson help before. Most others he'd met on the way here were liars, deceiving him only to get to his money. Despite this Crimson knew well enough, and kept most of the bits he had, which was barely enough to make the journey.. "I wasn't in best financial state before I came.. I'm sorry..."

Crude Sketch stopped on his tracks. He looked left and right.

 

"It's this way."He informed his companion.

Icy flew into Ponyville, landing in the middle of the marketsquare.  A smile was on his tired face as he recalled the events of his last few days in the Crystal Empire. 'I never knew there was such thing as a crystal lake.  I'm just glad they let the northern weather in so it'd freeze.  It was kind of Princess Cadence to allow somepony like me to do that.  Now to eat.  I've been flying forever!' he thought to himself as he walked over to a nearby restaurant, not really worried about any weird looks he'd get from still carrying ice skates over his back.

Following along the tracks of the railroad. DollarHooves sighed in relieve as PonyVille came into view. The rucksack on his back feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Phew, a long way from Manehattan. Oh. A restaurant. No more eating cold rations." He smiles entering into town, heading toward the restaurant.

Ace chuckled, "yeah Ponyville seems to be the place for all kinds of excitement, Nightmare Moon, Discord, and some trouble with the Cutie Mark Crusaders." Ace said cringing a little a the memory of those three trying to get their acting cutie mark. "I can't remember the last their was a quite moment."

 

"Yeah, I've heard about all the commotions happening here in Ponyville." Crude said." It's one of the major reasons why Princess Celestia herself has suggested this place to me. I even wonder if I would have some adventures myself."

 

 

They finally reached their destination: Crude Sketch's new home. Crude Sketch just had to look at his house for him to gape in sheer awe. For his house was not only built inside an enormous tree, but also where it was located. The house was situated on the dead center of the freakin' lake! Crude Sketch approached a tree stump near a raft on the edge of the lake. There was a note pasted on top of it. The note said:

 

 

"To cross the lake get onto the raft, pull the rope located at the side; one raft will go towards the tree, while the other will come here."

 

 

"Sounds easy." Crude commented, hopping on the raft."I still can't believe that this is my new house! How did they do it? The building, i mean. How did they hollow out  the tree and still make it grow?"

 

 

The red colt waited for his companion to ride on the raft with him.

Ace carefully stepped on the raft, "I really don't know though this isn't the second one the Library is inside a hollowed out tree and yet it still remains healthy I just don't think about that much I guess." Ace sat down and help on to the sides, he wasn't a huge fan of anything that floated on water.
