MissDashie 275 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 (edited) So guys, what are everyone's favorite Star Wars ships? They can be fighters, corvettes, frigates, or capital ships. Anything goes, including Extended Universe! My personal favorites Starfighter: X-Wing. No explanation or introduction needed. Corvette: Corellian Corvette. The first ship ever seen in Star Wars ever. Frigate: Nebulon-B Frigate. The iconic Rebellion ship, and the end of the best movie ever, The Empire Strikes Back, ends on a Nebulon-B. Capital Ship: Imperial Star Destroyer, specifically Grand Admiral Thrawn's and later Admiral Pellaeon's, the Chimaera. Special Mention: Super Star Destroyer Lusankya, Director Isard's ultimate weapon. So, how about all you guys? Gone for good 1,593 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 I personally think that Luke Skywalker X Darth Vader is a pretty good ship. That kind of relationship in general just makes me squee on the inside! 8 Just editing my signature to say that my behavior on here was cringe. Derpaholic 1,155 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 (edited) -Hammerhead-class capital ship. KotOR kicks ass, and so does this ship.-Centurion-class battlecruiser. KotOR II kicks ass, and so does this ship. Also, The Ravager served as Darth Nihilus' flagship. Now that's badass.-Incom T-65 X-Wing Starfighter. A classic. Doesn't need any explanations.-Aurek fighter. I just loved the Republic fighter designs in Knights of the Old Republic.-EF76 Nebulon B Escort Frigate. Something about the appearance of this ship that I specifically like. Can't put my finger on it.-Sith Interdictor-class Star Destroyer/cruiser. Come on. This model served as both, Darth Revan's and Darth Malak's flagship, and it has a cool, sleek, beak-like design.-Dynamic-class freighter. (Ebon Hawk) Again, self-explanatory, because Ebon Hawk is even cooler than Millenium Falcon.-Imperial SSD-class Super Star Destroyer. 12-19 kilometres of pure mechanical awesomeness. No, sir, can't go wrong with that.-RZ-1 A-Wing interceptor. Fast and agile little fighter. Always loved the design, too. Princess Lona 382 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 I thought this thread was about shipping and was going to make a joke but Lord Bababa beat me to it! Death Star, obviously. Unless you don't count that as a ship. Tie fighters are pretty sweet. I like the way they scream, even though it's space and you really shouldn't be able to hear them. 2 My OC, Tabula. Demirari 454 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 My favorites are the Super Star Destroyer aka the Executioner-Class. The ship is basically a giant floating V with a small city at its rear end. Then the TIE interceptor, it strikes me fancy. Just something about it...

GrimCW 658 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 (edited) the B-Wing... Cause it makes no sense at all.. Its a bomber supposedly, and it swings DOWN under its cockpit? I mean.. WHY does it do that?!.... Its just so odd and rare I love it that aside the Executor class Super Star Destroyers. They're just HUUUUUGE.... Hmm thought the Corellian "corvette" was called the Corellian "Blockade runner"... Or is this another situation like star treks "Enterprise class (refit)" having been later renamed to the "Constitution class Refit" despite the Constitution was destroyed back in the 1960's series, and the more recent renaming of the "Lakota Refit" to the Excelsior as just being some other mod I forget the name of... damned late onset alterations.... LOVE that game! the ground battles were entirely "meh" but those space battles.... Strategically played you could whomp a fleet with nothing more than a carrier and a couple cruisers At least against the AI, most players would be smart enough to look for the carrier.... That game needs a continuation of some sort... Damn lucas for selling out to disney!

Actually, to be honest, I didn't like the expansion pack. The Zann Consortium is way too strong, and their unique weapons are kind of game breakers in my opinion. However, have you played the extremely good mod for EaW, its called "Thrawn's Revenge"? Its almost a whole game in its own right, and it makes a lot of amazing improvements onto an already epic game! I want one that does the clone wars too (thats a campaign, not just some unit replacements. A little story goes a LONG way IMO).. so much open room there for any style of games and the best they gave us was Republic Commando (AWESOME) and some crummy top down hack'n'slash/shooter arcadey thing from the series... :/ Can't wait for ToR's space expansion to finally hit, though annoyed they LIED about it bringing back the older style flight sim like design.... bah... Well, we might actually be getting Battlefront 3, and that could take place in the Clone Wars. I waited for The Old Republic like the second coming of Jesus for four fucking years. Then the game comes out, and it's a one big pile of steaming shit, not worthy of "The Old Republic" title. I played the game for two months, and then threw the fucking thing away. One of the biggest disappointments in my 16 years of Star Wars fandom. But I digress. Then the game comes out, and it's a one big pile of steaming shit, not worthy of "The Old Republic" title. I played the game for two months, and then threw the fucking thing away. One of the biggest disappointments in my 16 years of Star Wars fandom. Being F2P helps it atm IMO. its worth playing as an SP game, which it essentially is. Or even with a tad of co op work. It has cleaned up drastically in recent times, but its still mostly.... not an MMO.... Look me up on Jedi Covenant sometime if you ever do get back in. I'm usually bumming about as Sekrat (Imp) or Hev (repub) Well, we might actually be getting Battlefront 3, and that could take place in the Clone Wars. The Clone Wars are really the only thing I loved about the Prequels, and we didn't get to see enough of them. Although in that 3-D cartoon there were some pretty good Clone Wars sequences... Its a given it'll have Clone wars period stuff, the first 2 did as well. But I'll be blunt, I've never once really cared for the Battlefront games. They were "okay", and the PSP ones weren't to bad having had space AND ground battles simultaneously. But they had no real SP, the animations/models were always TERRIBLE when it came to the troops (yet surprisingly vehicles/ships were pretty good), and the gameplay itself was just inherently generic enough to make CoD look more appealing.... Not to mention the extensive delay on tossing a thermal detonator and getting your gun back.. wth was with that anyways? That all aside the controls were clunky, UI poor, and overall game design just weak and thrown together. The hero characters were OP and often controlled like trash... The battlefield 2 and CoDMW mods were better, and free.... Doesn't help BF2 doesn't nothing but crash everytime I try to load it nowadays. I can get in to the menus, set everything up, but try to play and CRASH..... :/ So any second/third look I keep shooting for doesn't pan out.... Not sure if BF3 would change that, but it was looking awesome prior to the buyout I admit. But then again so was 1313, and a few other projects Disney canned over violence (and yet their movies are getting increasingly violent in many ways.. I mean just look at any of the pirate movies...) DubWolf 17,261 November 23, 2013 Share November 23, 2013 I pretty much only looked into starfighters. My favorite is probably the B wing; I always did like its peculiar shape and all its weapons you can use if you play Rogue Leader. Next to that is the A-wing: who doesn't like a fast jet/spaceship/thing? 1 Sig by Wolf, Handwriting by SparklingSwirls
