Charcoal unconsciously felt the magic working on her, and it freaked her out a little bit. She paniced a bit and tired sitting up, but her chest began hurting. She layed back down, now completely awake, but with a massive headache.

"Shhhh, lay down Love, let the magic do its works" he kissed the top of her head which was feverious with heat. "Stay still, i promise the pain will go away" he felt bad there was nothing else he could do to help, yet time would tell what damage had been done to Charocal.

"What... where... where am I? What happened? Why does my head hurt so much?" Charcoal asked one after the other trying to figure out the situation she was in. She couldn't remember anything that had happened that day. Why didn't she remember what happened today?

"It's okay love don't worry" he said soothingly. She had to stay still and let the magic do it's work. "You going to be okay, you got hurt but don't worry am here" he said again trying to calm her down. He kissed her head again. Guardian applied another magical wrap to her head.

"I... I got hurt?" Charcoal tried to think back, but thinking too hard made her head hurt even worse. She put a hoof to her head. "I... I don't remember that. But... I also don't really remember much from today. What happened?" Charcoal asked again, trying to sit up once again.

Guardian gently pushed her back down onto the couch. "Just relax, you got a major concussion. Don't worry love am here to help you" he said. Guardian applied the third magical strip that should put her to sleep and fully heal her head. He added another pillow behind her head. "Just rest love"

"What? But I... I..." Charcoal suddenly felt herself becoming very tired but she fought to keep her eyes open for as long as she could. "But... I want to... to... to..." Despite her best efforts Charcoal couldn't fight the magic off for long and she was put to sleep, snoring softly.

Guardian nodded. "She should be all set in an hour, she will he easier to talk with when she isn't concussed." Guardian said to Prish. "Now one more favor please, can you watch her, I need some sleep, I didn't get much of a break at the hospital. You don't have to do anything but wake me if something bad happens or if he wakes up." He pulled up a chair next to Charcoal

Caprisha nodded. "Sure. I can watch her for you. Just know that it is coming out if your pay." Caprisha said as a joke. She wondered if he would actually fall for it or if this joke would simply fall flat in its face and be run over by a wagon with especially large tires.

Guardian slowly nodded and fell back on the chair, and within a minute he was fast asleep the day having simply demanded to much energy. His dreams had run rampant and soon he woke with a scream " Charcoal" he yelled as he woke up. He looked at Prish embarrassed.

"Have a bad dream?" Caprisha asked from her chair. "Actually... I don't think I even need an answer, the sweat and your scream is good enough." Caprisha looked back at Charcoal. "She's still asleep. Do you know when she is going to be waking up?" Caprisha asked him.

"Well if I was asleep for about an hour," e said looking at his watch. "Any minute now. Otherwise we are going to have some serious problems. well not that bad but I might require a bucket of water, which would be mad for me. Let hope that doesn't happen" he looked at Charocal.

Caprisha nodded and looked at Charcoal again. It took a few minutes but she eventually began to stur. She slowly opened up her eyes. "What... Guardian?" Charcoal called weakly. She sat up and put a hoof to her head, feeling the bandages. "What... what happened?"

Guardian sat down next to her. "You might had gotten hit by your plane wing" he said. He hoped she would e okay. Even after ponies looked cured sometimes they weren't "you okay love?" He asked her slowly. He kissed the top of her head again, trying to make sure she was okay.

((Ah, you're fine.))

 

Charcoal thought for a minute. "Well... I've got a bit of a headache right now. I also have to use the restroom. And my vision is swimming a bit. Does that sound like I'm alright to you?" Charcoal asked, not trying to be smart, but trying to ask a question.

"Yes despite what you might think your in good shape. The swimming bison should clear up in a couple minutes. That was caused by the magic induced sleep. The headache should also be going, I can get you some pills for that. As for te bathroom, well you have by lying down for about four hours. Yep, your looking good" he said. He handed her some more pills for her headache.

Charcoal pushed the pills away. Or at least she tried to, but she missed and fell to the floor with a thump and a groan. "What? How did I miss that?" Charcoal thought outloud. She stood up, hooves shaking a little bit. It was a good thing her bead had just barely missed the table.

Guardian helped he back on to the couch. "Just relax love" he said. She was most likely still a bit dizzy. He pushed er back down on to te couch again. "Just calm, you still a bit dizzy" if she didn't want the pills that was fine by him, it was her choice not his to make.

"But... what about getting back to work? I can't work if I just lay here and do nothing." Charcoal said as she tried sitting up again. "If I don't work I don't get money. If I don't get money I can't buy things. And if I can't buy things then I will eventually not even have a home."

Guardian smiled a little bit, "you should be set in an hour. Can you wait till then, for me?" He asked. Guardian felt like metal working was a bad idea when concussed. He looked over to Prish "help" he said with his eyes. "Also charcoal don't ever worry about losing this house. I can always help if you need"

"But... it isn't your job to pay for my bills. I might have built this house but I still need to pay for the electric and the water. And they are my problem, not yours." Charcoal said stubbornly. "I need to deal with my problems on my own. I don't want you to have to deal with them as well."

"Love it wouldn't be fair to me not to help you. It hurts me" he said, guardian was looking to show her that e would do anything for her. "Please, Everypony always needs help with something or another. I want to help you."

"Yeah, but... it is still your hard earned money that you need t pay for your things. I don't think I'm worth your money. I just want you to be happy. And I don't think I can really do that while sitting on a couch doing nothing." Charcoal insisted stubbornly still.

"Letting me help you woul make me happy" guardian said. "I love you ad wouldn't want anything bad tot happen to you. That includes posin your house" he said. He hugged her. "Please just let me help, right now it seems the only way that happens is if your unconscious"

"And that's probably true. I know you want to help, but I don't want to burden you with anything. These are my problems and I need to deal with them on my own." Charcoal said, still staying as stubborn as before. "I'm not going to let you help me. You have already done more than enough for me. Loving me is more than enough."
