Sound Thought heard the mare's question and answered without raising his head from the table. "Call it a stress reviler for a long day..." He noticed after a moment the mare was still there. He raised his head and turned towards the mare that had bumped into him. "So, what brings you here?"

"Oh.. I-I'm here to party.." She said. Her radiant ocean blue eyes looked at him. Her long light blue coat soft to the touch. Her Dark blue wavy mane went to normal. Her wings folded in as she steadied herself. 'The water is helping the fact that I've had 2 drinks already.." She murmured out loud.

Her head cleared up. She smiled and shook her head. No longer her vision fuzzy and she felt great.

"It all started one day, when i was at my lake, i call it mine becuase noone else knew about it. As you might imagine i was bullied in school for being well a nerd. I actually enjoied learning. One day 3 bullies followed me to my lake and began to taunt me with the usal nerd loser, the sort of thing. Then one actually attacked me, he began to wade in but he made a mistake. In the lake lived an alligator and we made an agreement to stay away from each other. Sometimes i was terrified he would come after me but the gator kept his word. The gator found the bully in his area and attack him, i couldn't help it, i had to save him..." he took another long sip of his drink, as a tear formed "Anyway, i managed to pull him out of the water and stop the bleeding. I-i thought they would like me then, but no, they still called me nerd still made fun of me. They had also tooken my lake, i didn't dare go back there. I did once, and this is where the rubber duck comes in. The gator saw me approaching and told me to watch the duck on the surface of the water. He then leaped out of the water and dragged the rubber duck down, no pieces were left. The next two year were t-terrible. They were my darkest moments. The name nerd, well now it means alot worse." He finished his story. He left out some details, his suicide attempt, the torrmenting. "Anyway, that put me in a shell that i was stuck in for 5 years. Now am out, and i met you"

"What a story." Charcoal hugged him. She was never this forward with any pony, especially stallions, but this time was different somehow. "That does seem bad. I'm sorry if I hurt you in making you tell me the story." Charcoal apologiesed. She always seemed to hurt ponies around her.

Lunar dance climbed back onto her barstool. She said "I'm cute right?" Her head clearing up Ayer some more water. She flapped her wings and giggled waiting for his response. She was excited for other rest of the night to come.

Guardian was suprised for a second, then hugged Charcoal back, "Dont worry, it wasn't you, i chose to tell the story, it wasn't your fault". After about 5 seconds he back out. "Thank you" he whispered. He looked at the pony who had the first time not just shifted away from the story he told, she was kind about it. There was something about her.

She took a sip of her water and smiled. She enjoyed what was going on right now. She met somepony and now she could be happy. Since Dusk flat out rejected her she felt sad.

Charcoal smiled. "Not a problem. You seem like a kind pony who could use a good hug every once and a while." Charcoal said. "And we all have our tragic stories. Let me show you the result of mine." She held out her right hoof. "This hoof has a metal plate in it. I'm not sure of all the medical details, but it is there and I apparently need it."

She looked at Skylar. Waiting for his response. Se cleared her thwart and said "AHEM! I said! Why are you at a party? You don't seem like the party type.." She looked t him closely. She moved her bar stool closer and waited for his respond. She took a spit of her water.

The next thing she knew was their was a green light coming around her and picking her up and her falling asleep. She woke up at her friend Lia's house. She yawned and said "Why am I here?" She mumbled.. Her friend said "1. You were kind of drunk. 2. We agreed that if one of us left the other did to. I was leaving. And 3. Your house is to far away. And you also have to clean the bathroom. Cause you threw up in their.." I grunted and went to clean up my mess.

"Hmm how did that happen? You don't have to tell me if you dont want to" he said. He looked up at her.

Ambrose looked at the chess peice, "What does that do for you, i take it you play chess..." she asked. Then she just looked at the chest peice. Studying every detail in the silence.

Charcoal was silent for a bit. "Well... let's just say it happened while I was ridding in a balloon and the basket broke. I feel somewhere in the Everfree and... um... I'm not really sure what happened after that." Charcoal said. A cold breeze blew through and blew show on her. She shook the snow off with her wings.

"Would you like to go back inside, its getting quite cold" he asked. In doing so he took off his jacket and offered it to Charcoal. "Dont want you to be to cold" he waited for her answers, and fluttered his wings slightly to get the snow off. He really like this pony, she seemed very sweet.

Charcoal pushed his coat back to him. "No, that is your coat. You use it. If I wanted to have a coat I would have brought one. And it isn't that cold out, or at least it isn't to me since I have black fur anyway." Charcoal explained to him. "And if we ho inside we won't be able to get this incredible view."

"Alright, i was asking just in case, and yes the night is very beautiful," as he said this he looked up at the stars gazing. As he looked around he noticed the party was slowly coming to a close. "Umm would you like to get Lunch tomorrow or something." he asked shyly. His wings flutter.

 

((Also Guardian is normally a unicorn, i mixed him up with Dusk, so just going to leave him as a unicorn))

Charcoal smiled. "Well let's see. I have nothing from 8:00-9:00 then I have some work I could get done in 30 minutes. Then I have nothing for the rest of the day. Well... seems like I'm going to have to move a bit of nothing around, but I think I can do it." Charcoal said jokingly.

 Guardian mentally cheered, and laughed out loud. "That sound great" he said. He walked with her to the door of the restraunt. He gave her another hug before he went home and said "Thank you for helping me tonight". With that he began to walk towards his home.

Charcoal smiled. "No problem." Charcoal said with a wave as Guardian left. After he was no longer in sight she began walking towards her own home as well. When she got there she went to her room and into the bathroom. She saw a glimpse of a blush on her face in the mirror. But was it from the cold, or something... somepony else?

Guardian thought about the days events. HE HAD A FRIEND, well sort of a friend.  He looked up at his ceiling, he had painted the stars, so they would always be there. He drew a new constitlation, one he made, of a peice of charcoal slowly starting to burn. ((In a good way, like warm, and friendly, NOT, DIEEEEE))

Charcoal walked out of the bathroom once she was finished with her business. She crawled into bed with a strange warm feeling inside of her.

((Fast Forwarding to the next day))

 

Guardian had finished all his work, we wanted his mid clear for his lunch to day with Charcoal. He left his house about 10 minutes before the arranged time. He wanted to be nice and early, not late. When he reached the small cafe, he went into to get a table for two.

Charcoal had finished up her work as well. She didn't think it was cold out today either so she didn't bother getting her coat. She decided to braid her mane and tail today, despite liking ponytails more. She walked to the cafe she was supposed to come to and looked around for Guardian. When she found him she smiled and sneaked up from behind him. She breathed down his neck and gave his ear a little nibble to surprise him.
