"Well, we need to be as quick as we can, and splitting into two groups won't be so dangerous... Lief, Grell, and Smowstorm can check the west held, and Eternity, Dead Eye, and I can get the east half. It's not like it'll be a sacred when we find this thing."

Snowstorm sighed. "I still don't think this is a good idea." This was not going to end well, she knew it. Hopefully Leif or Grell would talk sensibly.

 

"I agree with Dead Eye. And I wasn't saying we attack, I think we should find the pearls, then regroup, then decide how to attack." She didn't want these ponies to think she had no idea what she was doing. She was grateful that Dead Eye had agreed with her. She wasn't entirely sure if she could trust them, but if they actually were good guys, she wanted their companionship.

Silver frowned. Eternity was the daughter of Athena, now Leif would probably trust her and that plan. "Well... You're the daughter of Athena. I guess I'll go with it."

Snowstorm smiles. "I knew you'd see sense," she says, relievedly. "Splitting up is not a good idea. No offence, Silver and Eternity," she said, gritting her teeth on the inside. All she wanted to do was insult them, but she wasn't high enough on the ladder to do that without real consequences yet.

Eternity nodded. "Your right. My apologies. What will our plan be then?" She didn't want to wait all night. Now that the prospect of a fight was on the table, she was raring to go. If only she could control her invisibility, she could just walk past the monsters and steal the pearls... but she couldnt. She would have to be incredibly blissful to hold her invisibility long enough to sneak in the museum, find the pearls, take them, and leave. It just wasn't possible.

"Well this should be fun" Dead Eye said as his watch transformed into a bow. He wasn't particularly fond of going into situations blind, but there was no choice here.

 

"I think I'm the only one with a ranged weapon here," He said, gesturing to his bow, "So I'm gonna get up high if I can"

Grell only smiled "well if you count my ability to drain your life as a weapon then I have one to" grell said

"I can control plants as long as I can see them so I have ranged as well but takin a high point sounds good in case we get ambushed on out way to the museum" Leif said

Snowstorm tentatively followed with Panomma by her side. She was glad that Panomma was with her. The wolf made her feel safer.

Panomma nuzzled her sensing her distress

Leif smiled warmly "you're not a burden" Leif said "you're a quit useful in fact I think you should lower the temp. Because I've heard that the creature is reptilian so if it gets cold then it could die" Leif said

He pulled out the snow berries and gave them to her "these seemed to trigger the cold just don't use it yet"

He then turned and looked at Snowstorm and shot her a smile, "Don't die on us now." He then turned back and moved to enter the building.

Snowstorm frowned. Don't die on us now? She wondered if that was sincere. "I'll try not to," she said, chuckling.

Leif shook his head "no just do it as soon as it looks like we won't be able to handle the beast otherwise save them and enjoy them later and if just eating doesn't work try recreating what happens as best you can what you where felling thinking everything till it works and that'll help you learn to control it"Leif said

Snowstorm thought for a moment. "Okay. I'll try and think of what I was thinking about then," she said. Was it cold? When she'd eaten the berries, she'd been overwhelmed by the wonderful cold, and it was almost all she was thinking about. She contemplated this for a few moments. "I think I have it. Hopefully it works."

Eternity felt her body tense, ready for battle. This could go any way. Live, or die. But she looked at the ponies next to her. She had hardly just met them, but she would die by there sides.

Snowstorm still wasn't very much anticipating his fight. She looked at Panomma trustingly, hoping that the wolf would be able to help protect her. She wished that she had some way to fight without hurting her allies. She looked at the berries that she had, hoping that she'd be able to control the power when it came.

 

Eternity felt her body tense, ready for battle. This could go any way. Live, or die. But she looked at the ponies next to her. She had hardly just met them, but she would die by there sides.

Snowstorm smiled finally. They were all ready. She was more hopeful now that nothing bad would happen to any of them, and she pet Panomma a bit before readying herself again.

Tough Luck was going his daily chores on the farm when heard his father yell, "Well that has to be the biggest cow I ever did see!"

Interested, Tough walked around the barn and fear entered his eyes as he thought, 'how could dad mistake this for a cow?'

In front of him stood a man 8 feet tall, but instead of a normal human head a large bull's took its place. Tough screamed at his dad to go back inside to the house and reached to his hip and brought up his trusty bullwhip and thought to himself could he really wrangle this beast alone?

Silver summoned his sword with a tongue of flame. "I've got a light, so I'll take the lead," he said, walking towards the from of the group. As he carefully walked forwards, no one saw the scaly beast slinking along the ceiling, waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Snowstorm looked around carefully, noticing everything. If there was any sign of danger, she would alert the rest of them. Although she looked up at the ceiling, she didn't notice the beast at all. "I'll watch for the beast," she said, continuing to examine the surroundings.

Dead Eye looked around with his bow drawn. 'It's too dark in here' he thought to himself, 'the monster could hide anywhere'

 

"We need to turn on the lights in this place", he said to the group, "you guys do that while I get to higher ground" he then ascended a set of stairs to the right and perched himself on a ledge overlooking the group.

Tough Luck's whip was the last thing his mother gave to his father before she left when he was just a foal. The whip looked more ornate than the average bullwhip with the black leather laced with with a glimmering metal. Tough Luck always thought the metal was just for looks, but he was about to find out it was much more. As the minotaur charged at him Touch Luck took his whip and snapped it at the monster's flank. The monster hissed in pain and found a renewed rage and blew smoke from his nostrils. The second charge Tough Luck wrapped the whip around the neck of the minotaur and as he pulled his whip back the head of the minotaur came with it and the body and head alike evaporated into smoke leaving behind only the ring from the beast's nose. Tough Luck took a deep breath and tried to assess what had just happened.

Something slitghered close by. Her hooves made soft clinks on the hard floor... she was filled with anticipation...

Snowstorm was tensed up, glancing at Panomma every now and then nervously.

"But what if the beast snuck up on us while we were in the dark? And we wouldn't be able to see the pearls."

Panomma sniffed the air and smelled the beast she growled

Grell was looking around looking for the pearls in the dim lighting

((No i meant what I typed I read over his/her first post and it mentions something about a human head so I was letting him/her know that we're ponies and humankind does not exist in this))
