She kissed him to stop the babbling "I love you Dust" was the first thing that came out of her mouth. "An so sorry I ruined this special day for Everypony." Ambrose looked down, "and got another scar added to the list" she looked up at Dust and realized how self centered she was being. "Is everyone else okay?" She asked.

"I love you too, and it isn't your fault. Somepony tried to assassinate Lunar. Yes, they're all shaken up, but everypony is ok. I didn't see Lunar though, so I just hope the guard was able to get her to safety." He hugs her and holds her tight, "It isn't your fault" he repeats, trying to comfort her.

((Ambrose will naturally blame herself, for getting shot she thinks it's her fault for getting hit.))

 

"B-but I was the one who got hit, I r-ruined the wedding." She cried, then he realized. Se had ruined the wedding. Ambrose began to cry harder. "Dust you don't deserve me"

Dust shakes his head, "No Ambrose, it's you who don't deserve me. I should have made sure that the area was secure, I should have seen that arrow flying and blocked it's path. I should have...I should have been the knight in armor that you deserve." He starts crying, "Ambrose, I love you, but you don't deserve a lowlife foal like me.."

Ambrose looked up a bit shocked "no don't say that, I need you, please don't ever leave. There was no way you could have seen that arrow or stopped it" Ambrose began to cry harder scared that Dust was going to leave. "Love please don't leave me".

Essence Flux slowly entered to inform them the killer was dead but stopped not wanting to intruder.

"I won't leave you, I made a promise to you that I'll always be here for you, and that I'll always love you. I intend on keeping that promise. I just...I just feel bad that I didn't do anything to stop the attacker." he cries, "We..we should try for a second wedding, b..but maybe it should be just the two of us, Lunar would understand, I think she might prefer it that way anyway."

Ambrose slowly wipes away her tears and nodded to Dust. "That sounds perfect" she said. She giggled suddenly "imagine telling this story 20 years later to a bunch of foals, it would sound like the plot of some book" ((you were talking about the other books, also what are the titles)) Ambrose small moment passed and she looked around and saw Flux. Flux stepped forward and said "the assassin is dead"

Dust kisses Ambrose, "You are the first mare I ever trusted after my ex, well I suppose Lunar was the first, but I mean trust as in, I trust you with my heart. I mean, I trust you to keep my heart." He places her hoof where his heart.

Ambrose looked down at where her hoof was placed. Dust seemed to do this a lot, she understood how much it meant. Ambrose took her hoof away and lay across his lap with her head against his heart. She just looked at him wanting to memorize every detail. A medical pony soon came over I tell her she was good onto, "just be carful" said the medic. Ambrose looked over at Dust, they could still do the wedding.

Essence flux waited outside to bring his new of the assassins death.

"Thank you medic, it is good to hear." Dust thanks the medic, "Come on honey, we can still do the wedding, and Indigo must be really worried."

They leave the medical area and see Essence standing there, waiting for them, they walk over to him, and smile a each other.

Essence nodded to both of them. "The assassin is dead, all he killed is the wedding" he said. " the body is currently being examined to find out where he came from."

Ambrose nodded in thanks not sure what to say. Dust was the one who had the better pony skills, she was terrible ad being social.

Dust hugs Essence, "Thank you! Thank you!" Dust was extremely relieved to hear that the assassin was dealt with and so was the situation.

"Well Ambrose and I are going to try for a separate wedding from the Princess."

 

He turns to Ambrose, "Love, Shall we?" He asks gently.

Ambrose thanked essence flux. "Then turned to Dust "yes of course dear, let's get going"

Flux turned his job done, yet he was still upset, he wanted a relationship like Dust and Ambrose, he wanted a mare to care for him and he for her.

Dust led Ambrose to the front desk, "Excuse me sir? Our wedding was kind of put on hold by an unforseen event, and we would like to continue with our wedding, separately from the Princess and mr Critical's one, if we may?"

The pony at the front desk says, "Certainly sir, I will get a priestpony to come and do the ceremony for you straight away."

"Thank you" Dust says, he and Ambrose sit down and waits for the priest to come.

Ambrose nodded happily, this was the way she had wanted it to go. "Dust, to be honest, I never really wanted the giant royal wedding, this would have been perfect." Ambrose said. She leaned on his shoulder and kissed him again, as they awaited the priest pony

Dust smiles, "Well honestly, I didn't really want a big wedding either. But Lunar insisted on it. But I think she'll understand that it's for the best we don't have a double wedding." He kisses her back.

The priestpony arrives, "Hello sir, ma'am. I will be your priest for this evening. Shall we continue to the altar?"

Ambrose nodded slowly and looked over and Dust to make sure they will still going through will this. She had almost no doubts about staying with Dust for the rest of her life. She walked hoof and hoof with Dust to the altar.

Ambrose simply said "i do" there was nothing else to say, she finally at this point in her life, she wished she could see her parents again

the priestpony continues, "Do you Dust Storm, take Ambrose, to be your lawful and wedded wife? In sickness and in health? for richer or for poorer? for better or for worse? 'til death do you part?"

Dust looks at Ambrose, "I do".

"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

Dust takes Ambrose in his forehooves, leans her back and kisses her passionately.

The ceremony soon wrapped up and Ambrose smiled at Dust, they were now bonded for life. She noticed she still had the bloodstained dress on and chuckled mentally. "Well, where should we go now on our honey moon?" Ambrose asked . To be honest what she wanted to do was I after the ponies that had shot her.

"I was thinking, we don't need to go anywhere expensive or around any other ponies. How about we get some camping gear, hire a boat, and go to our private little island, away from everypony and everything, we can just relax and be with each other. Oh and love, there is one more thing."

Ambrose nodded happily, that sounded perfect. "That sounds wonderful". Then she ears Dust say "one more thing". Ambrose looked up. "Yes love?" She asked. She hoped there was nothing wrong. That would ruin a perfect day. She even had his present set up. It was a small locket that had a picture of her and a picture of his parents in it. It was made of bronze with a diamond heart in the middle. Ambrose had even added a shield to the locket, due to the fact he had been in the guard.

"My present to you for our wedding. Well earlier before our first attempt at the wedding, I had a chance to talk to Princess Luna. I...I asked her to cast a spell on both of us for tonight, so that..so that we may meet each others parents, in our dreams." He says, and love, I was going to shake my head and say no and explain why, when the priestpony said 'til death do you part, because, well not even death will stop me loving you. But after everything that happened, i just went with it." He leans in and kisses her.

Ambrose almost cried. She would get to meet his parents, also he had such a sweet plan. She leaned in and kissed him again. "I cant wait for our trip" she added. Then she pulled out the little locket she had made herself. She handed it to him. "Dust I made this do you. It contains a picture of us together and a picture of your parents . It also had a shield that could protect from this planet imploding. I didn't know what to give you..." ((Changed the picture in the locket from before))

 

((Dust saw the bride before the wedding as bad luck, she got shot. Oops:)))
