Before Night-Mare Moon incident

Has more of a laid back attitude but will always do what he can to follow Luna's requests, enjoys going out for a good fly, and is good friends with the other ponies in the castle.

 

After Night-Mare Moon Incident

Keeps to himself and will only talk to somepony if he thinks they will help him find out where Luna is, also has a small appreciation towards the animals in equestria although he cannot communicate with them, and enjoys sitting on a solitary cloud watching the moon rise.
