There's still hope for every pony at drawing!

So I'm drawing this picture of two cats(one baby and momma) for my little brother and I flipped to the first page of this huge drawing pad I got a while ago and found some terrible pony drawings. I almost died of laughter looking at them cause they were pretty suckish. There's still hope for everyone at drawing and becoming better even if it's nowhere near noticeable at the moment.

This is what I drew some time ago. Maybe the end of the summer? (DAT HORRID RAINBOW)

I'm totally envious of your abilities.  I wish I could draw.  Sometimes I wish I took visual arts over music, but I digress.  Regardless, I can see drastic improvement int he 2nd shot, and I can really see a unique style beginning to develop in your work.  I think that's a really (cute-ish?) round-edge(?) style over your first shot.  Definitely looks more refined.  Keep it up!

shoot, I wish I was good at music Dx I have a Ukelele collecting dust in my closet(broke it trying to tune it ) and I have plenty of countless other failed attempts at instruments such as violen, piano, drums, guitar and flute. .-. And thanks! Definitely saw an improvement looking back at my previous...attempts xD

What a great improvement! It's always fun (for me, anyways) to look back through old drawings and be amazed by how far my skills have progressed. I still have yet to draw pony-related artwork though, as no inspiration has struck me yet, but when it comes... I bet it will be horrid. At least until I become more comfortable with their anatomy and form.

 

On the other hoof, the fact you were able to draw that second drawing so quick definitely is a sign you are developing, or have developed, a style you are comfortable with. Bravo! ...Course I'm also jealous because I'm still trying to find a consistent drawing style that's comfortable for me. Cuz I can't draw realistic either.
