I'm a fan of F-Zero in general. Good at the original, not that good at X, and an Amateur at GX. The games are really fun actually, I like it a lot :3

 

My favorite i'd have to say, would be.. Blood Falcon maybe. He's got a nice car, nice looks, and is quite the neat man.

I have played a little bit of F-Zero X on the N64, and it's definitely a great game. I've never been a big fan of racing games, but F-Zero is an exception because of the intense speed and difficulty of the game, as well as the futuristic setting and comic book style characters. I'm an even bigger fan of F-Zero GX on the GameCube though. If you like the N64 game, then you should really give GX a whirl. The game is simply outstanding, and it has aged very well. I could play the game right now and have a ton of fun with it. Trying to beat the Story Mode missions on the hardest difficulty is indescribably difficult, but the game has great replay value and lots of unlockables, so it lasts a while. If you take your memory card with you to play F-Zero AX on arcade you can unlock a lot of additional content as well. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the ability to create your own racing machines by putting together a body, cockpit, and booster. You can spend hours just on testing new machines.

 

My favorite pilot is Leon simply because he's a Star Fox-referencing cat-man who can wrestle, play soccer, and he loves little children and kittens.

Moved topic to Media Discussion, since it's about a video game. I like F-Zero a bit myself though, GX is probably my favorite racing game(but I also kind of hate how ridiculously hard it is).

Sis, believe it or not.

 

And no, I can't say I actually have completed very hard, at least not by myself, as I had help from my brother who is some kind of god at the game. There's a few missions that I can do, and some others that are just too insane for me. You have to have the patience of a saint and some serious dedication to pull it off.

I think it took me 2 weeks, about an hour a day to complete very hard on chapter 5, where you had to get out of the damn power plant. Ugh, it was such a pain.

 

I did it with max acceleration though, and I was even mind blown :3

I first got into the series when I say Captain Falcon on Melee, and since I found him really cool, I decided to track down the games(starting with GX)

 

SInce then F-Zero has been one of my favorite Nintendo franchises, and I really hope that they eventually find a way to bring the series on the Wii U
