Embers glared at steel, he had almost run into a tree from his tail flip. He looked up over at the head of spawn, then charged it head on "Come here steel, no need to be scared" He said with a laugh as he pulled out his sword and jumped over at steels head, smirking as he did

Spawn looked at him and slapped him away laughing "I don't have time to deal with pests" spawn said moving back to the hole ((he's a full size dragon and a pony can walk on his nose you remember that episode when fluttershy overcomes her fear if dragons))

She tried to avoid the tail flip,but it was too fast,and it ended sending her far away,crashing on a nearby tree

"Ouch...that really hurted"

When she woke up,she felt a horrible pain on one of her wings.It was her left wing,and it was broken.

"Guess that i can't use you on a while,huh?"

She pulled out the daggers on an aggresive stance,and ready to fight

Embers looked down at steel as he jumped back "Slow poke, even your normal pony was better then that" He said with a laugh as he looked over to light, he grimiced to see blood going down one side, then looked back to steel "Hey steel, why wont you fight me?" He grinned

She tried to move next to Embers,but the pain could with her,and she ended nearly falling to the floor

"Agh!!!!It hurts!!!"

It ended being that a branch was struck on her body.She tried to wake up,but the pain was too strong to move...

She could see blood falling from her body....and her life fading...

"So...this is to be dead?..."

She started to see a light on the distance...

"Maybe...maybe is the end of my adventures...hehe..."

But when she was going to touch the light,a spear has fallen from the sky...

"Only 1 person would fight with that technique"

And then a ponybhad fallen from the sky,kicking the spear to the ground,and breaking all the ground around him..

You made a promise.You'll not die before me...

"Dreamspace..."

The black stallion had touched the floor and then glared at Lightwing,and then whispered something to her ear

If you want to live,get up,use the spear,and defeat that dragon...

The pony suddenly dissapeared,and where he was,it was the spear...

"Was it...was it a dream?....No...impossible..."

She got up with the few energies that she had,and picked up the spear

"Embers!!!I know how to defeat him!!!But you have to win time!!!"

She started again to try to open the spear,but this time,with results

"I'll not die...not now...ugh!!!"

The pain was still taking her,but she had to resist...

Embers looked over at light "What the buck did you just do? Did you just summon that...Spear? How? You arnt even a unicorn!" He said as he shook his head "Alright, i can do that" He said as he ran over to steel, this time changing his side, he jumped over and swung his sword

Spawn rolled his eyes "because steel isn't here" spawn said laughing "and I don't try with pests like you you are little more then a worm you are nothing" spawn said he looked over at light wing but ignored her

Astrid growled"if you kill him I swear I'll kill you" Astrid yelled

Grell heard the laughing and began to run in that direction

Embers grinned as he looked over at astrid "Naw, If I could find a cute filly like you to kill me, I wouldnt half mind being stabed to death" He said with a smirk as he turned over to look down at spawn "Well, you might feel some...Pain?" He said as he darted to his back, then pushed his sword down

((No,it just have a strange...interaction with dragons,but without being OP))

While Embers was winning time,she had to discover how to open the spear

"Come on...you told me how...but i can't.Why?"

She tried again to ppen it.It seemed to respond,vut it closes instantly...And the pain was becoming more and more intense

"Come...on...a last try..."

She tried again to open the spear,with the hope to open it this time

"I'll not let anypony more to die...I'll probable die here...but for a good cause..."

((Then it won't do much since spawn is a demon however it'll do more them other weapons sorry if it ruins your plan and embers if your using your sword that talks it's considered holy me and torrent talked about it already))

Spawn dodge the blade it missed by less them an inch spawn retaliated with another tail flick the tip if his tail broke the sound barrier (like a bull whip)

Embers was throwen back into a tree, his slamed into it with his face looking over at steel. He slumbed at he could feel many of the bones breaking in his body "Guess you won this one....steel" He said as he closed his eyes, he could feel blood soaking his mane through as he fell to the ground

"Come... on...you should open..."

She was practically tired of trying to open it,and the stabbed branch on her body was damaging her quickly...

"At least...if i could stand up..."

She fainted...

Astrid sighed running over to embers first and gave him a little nick with the holy dagger and it bagan to heal him

Then she ran over to light wing and done the same hoping they'd be able to help and that she want haut wasting her time ((well he's still a dragon

Embers spat blood at the ground, happy astrid was helping him. He stumbled up to his feet with his eyes coverd in his own blood, then looked over at steel "I see, its going to take more then a sword to kill you" He said with a grin across his face as he took a step to the side

Lightwing woke up,only to feel an unbeliable pain in her back...the branch had penetrated deeply due for the hit...

"Ugh.....I can't even...move..."

She saw again Steel...

"You win this time...but the next time...you'll be defeated..."

She was going to faint again.but nt before sawing another pony approaching her...

"Don't...don't..."

The words didn't managed to exit from her mouth,and she simply fainted...,

Grell ran over to light wing and pulled the branch out and charged a healing spell it'd heal her completely but ou for a while it would undo it self In about an hour

Spawn laughed "of course it'll take more then a sword" spawn said

Astrid ran over to embers "if you kill him I ll be sure to make you die a slow and painful death" Astrid growled

Embers laughed as he looked over at astrid "Please, I would much rather suffer death from a cute filly like your self, even if it was slow and painfull, I dont intend to kill him though" He said as he looked over, back to steel then to lightwing. He sighed as he shook his head

Lightwing slowly started to wake up.The first thing that she noticed was that the branch wasn't stabbed anymore,but when she tried to speak...

"Ugh!!!"

She spat blood from her mouth.She suffered internal damage,and that couldn't be easily healed...Then she saw that Embers was wounded too...

"Em...bers...Are you...ok?..."

Embers turned to look over at lightwing, there was something in his eyes, some look of saddness "Yeah, im fine, we have bigger problems them me" He said as he looked over at spawn "Hey spawn, I know I look like a little bug, but really, can you fight fire with fire?" He said as he looked down at his feet

She smiled at the fact that Embers was ok,not like her...

"I think that i know how to defeat Spawn..."

She shows again the spear

"Have you ever heard the legend of the hunter and the lizard?

((The legend of the hunter and the lizard consisted on a hunter,whose arrows could't damage the lizard,so he waited until the lizard opened his mouth,and he shoot an arrow inside it,killing him))

Externally,he's invincible,but internally,he's fragile.

So if i manage to throw something sharpened,like this spear,ibside his mouth,that should damage him heavily..."

Embers laughed a sad laugh "Yeah, You forget how many books I read lightwing" He said with a slight smile as he looked over at her "I guess I could try to get him to open his mouth, eat me?" He said with a grin as he started to walk over to spawn/steel "Hey there, open wide!"

Spawn had heard eh they where planning it would be painful no doing but he wasn't concerned with there plan "I have things to do worms" spawn said

Astrid poked light wing "physical attacks are pointless unless you use holy magics or weapons he can heal himself with out trying to" Astrid said

Embers scoffed as he looked over, from lightwing to steel to grell to astrid "Well, Guess that plan wont work" He said with a laugh as he looked over at spawn "Hey spawn, I would still love to shove my sword down into your belly, but I guess ill let you off this time"

She tried again to open the spear...but the she remembered what Dreamspace had whispered to her during her dream...

You always asked me why this spear was special,right?...

 

If i'm telling you this,is that you've been forced to fight a dragon or something,and i'm not there to help...

 

Normally,those creatures are inmune to normal attacks.But you're smart,and you'll know the tale of the hunter and the lizard,and that's the way to kill those creatures.

 

The spear is special because...well...it can disrup the magic...Every alive thing near the spear sees his magic altered,amd not working properly,adverting the owner from unexistent dangers,avoiding protections,and so...

"So that's why Embers was scared of me at the forest...*she remembered Embers's scared eyes at the forest*"

 

But it's not so easy to use the spear properly.You're a pegasi,so you'll have it a bit easier the step of the jump

 

What you have to do is to use the creature's own force against him.

Fly high,and when the enemy makes an attack,go down as fast as possible,trying to make a strong attack.

The spear should disrup its magic temporally,and make a weak point for a few instants...or better said,his mouth...

The rest is all in your hands

When she ended remembering all the comversation,she tried one last time to open the spear,and this time...it worked...

She looked at Astrid

"I have the key here..."

She looked at Embers

"Distract him.I have the answer..."

She tried to get up,and usef her last bits of energy to fly and target Spawn...

"I'll not fail...not this time..."

It can be saw on her face how the pain was making her suffer more and more...

Embers nodded over at lightwing as she flew over at spawn, he looked back over to spawn and charged him head on, he pulled out his sword and lundged at his face, moving himself so he was right infront of spawn, then he darted up, almost to the point where spawn could have eaten him
