The spear was unleashing a blue aura,while pointing towards Embers

"Oh no...Is the sword...it should have absorved too much energy from Spawn,and now it wants to destroy that dark magic..."

She tried to keep the spear far from

Embers,but the power from the spear was too strong

"Embers!!!Destroy that dark energy!!!Or it will consume you!!!"

Embers laughed as he looked over at lightwing "Oh please, I couldnt kill this stupid magic even if I wanted to do..But I dont want to, so ill just have fun" He said as he looked over at the spear with a grin on his face, wondering how fast it moved, he could already feel his body draining

"Oh no...i can't retain it amymore.."

The spear started to fly at an extremely fast speed,until it stabbed the sword,who was the fountain of all the magic.

"Well.. at least it didn't attacked Embers.."

The spear started to grow blue and then,after a while,all the dark magic was gone...

"The spirit inside the sword is still alive.I can feel it,but the dark magic inside the sword is gone..."

Embers slumped to the ground, he had bearly any fight left in him "Darn it, that was so much FUN though" He said with a light laugh as he looked over at lightwing, he slowly got to his feet and sighed. He looked over at steel "Might as well try to save him grell" He said as he looked around

Grell had been working the whole time he stood up and punched embers "whacko you think I've been doing playing with a soul in sword oh wait that's you now shut up and let me work" grell said he was tense and embers didn't help at all grell went back to work he finished "if you have something to say to steel do it now I don't know how long he has left"

Embers glared at grell "Oh yeah? I was the one who saved us bloody all, so give me a break" He said as he walked over to steel. He looked down at steel with one eyelid closed, and the other half closed "Hey steel, we have had one heck of a run, just saying, I dont think you should die"

Grell rolled his eyes "don't be so self absorbed embers you have no clue how to fight demons it was just luck the only ones here that know anything about fighting demons is me and Astrid I and maybe Luna since She worked with steel before" grell said

Embers scrached his chin as he looked over at grell "Yes, thank you for slaying this demon with all of your power, if it wernt for you, he would have killed us all....Oh wait, I was the one that took him down" He shook his head as he looked over at grell with a blackness in his eyes

Grell sighed "you didn't so it alone embers Astrid was fighting along with willow and Luna so to say you did it is foolish and childish embers I've come to realize that's your very nature you can't accept the fact you couldn't have done it alone and therefor you act as you did do it alone" grell said

Embers laughed as he nodded "Aye, I am still a filly, but at least I dont pretend to be a god such as your self, I wasnt making a point of the others not fighting, I was making a point about YOU not fighting, it is true that I havnt much stuff with souls and what not, but you who did didnt really do much"

She couldn't resist it anymore...

She picked up the spear,and she put herself in front of both Grell and Embers

"STOP!!!!!!"

The spear was pointing towards Embers,and a dagger was pointing towards Grell

"We're not here to fight!!!Did you both forgot why are we doing all this???To save Equestria!!And while the others are risking their lives to save all of us,you botj are fighting!!!!"

She had fallen to the floor

"I don't wanna more lives to end without reason..."

Ember raised an eyebrow as he looked at lightwing. He was leaning on his sword "Alrighty miss" He said with a laugh as he walked back over to his back pack, then he turned around and looked at grell with a sad look on his face. He shook his head and looked down around him

Grell laughed "I don't act as I god but as a death master embers and I didn't fight because I prefer to heal instead if destroy unlike you all you want is to fight that's why you resorted to fighting a filly" grell said when lightning pointed the dagger at him he simply pushed it away "I don't kill unless I absolutely have to" grell said he looked at embers and sighed

Embers grinned as he looked over at grell "Aye, But what good is healing when all you can do is stand there and be stabbed?" He said with a shrugg as he climbed back up the tree. He sighed as he pulled out another paper and started drawing something else, wondering what was the point in this

Grell smirked "I can much more then meets the eye as a death master I can command death and avoid it I can also see when you are to die and I can override your death date just as I did for Luna but you will never know the full extent of my powers because I don't want to become a lych" grell said

Embers shook his head "Your no better then I am grell, I have already stoped this fight and just as I once did, you want to keep going" He looked up at grell "Im ready for death, so if you wanna kill me, come over here. I wont fight back" He shrugged "I have been ready for a long time"

Grell laughed "you think by just drawing after you've made a rude comment is ending the fight?" Grell questioned "ah no matter I have more important things to deal with I'll leave you to your childish ways" with that grell began to examine Astrid who had been hurt by the earthquake

Embers sighed as he looked down at his drawing. He set it down and walked a little bit away from the group, half crying. Embers saw no point to fighting with grell, or with anyone else anymore. He shook his head and picked up his sword, looking at it with a sad smile on his face

Lightwing saw Embers,with a half sad face...She folded the soear and cane next to Embers

"Don't let his words hurt you.I know that i don't know a lot about your...fight,but i know one thing for sure.."

She sat at his side

"You can't keep that fight forever.You have to learn to forget the past sins,try to save the people from Equestria,and when there's all dome,you can end your fight with him,or with anypony else..."

She gave him a hearthwatming smile,trying to revive the spark of the Embers that she met

Grell finished on Astrid "Astrid come with me you need to be with Luna" grell said

Astrid nodded and followed grell over to Luna

Grell looked at Luna and Astrid "I'm sorry to say this but I don't think steel is going to make it you should say your goodbyes while you can" grell said

Astrid sat there and them collapsed and weeped

Embers sighed and shoot his head, not wanting to look up at grell. He sat there and threw his paper across the tree, glaring at the ground "Come on dang it, What the heck is wrong with you?" He said half to himself before looking up at lightwing "This is my fault"

Wanderlust shivered, "Last time something happened with Steel, I immersed myself completely in nature magic...  Mother nature over took me and I almost died, her presence and power erased my memories... I was lucky to get most of them back but I still don't remember everything.  I don't know what we can do, I don't want to ever risk myself like that again but we have to at least try and help."  He was running into the town now before the Earthquake started and he was forced to collapse.

Luna rushed over to Steel and Grell, "Steel!  Grell what's going on?  I saw the dragon collapse, what's happened?"

Embers looked over at luna before shrugging "Sorry, I seem to have killed him, save him if you can though" He shook his head and hoped down the tree, walking over to look at lightwing and steel, then turning and sighed as he walked back over and grabbed his papers

Whisper had suddenly looked at him with anger and guilt before the earthquake shook them. She fell to her knees and braced herself as well as she could, hoping that it would be over shortly. When the disaster had ceased a scrambled Whisper stood up shakily; unable to hear Wanderlusts exclamations due to the ringing in her ears. She followed him over to Steel, Grell and a now crying Astrid.

Grell sighed "Luna steel took quite a beating I've done all I can but you should say your goodbyes I don't know how much time he has left" grell said

Steels body went back to his normal form all his wounds that weren't so serious on spawn became very serious

Astrid laid there crying
