Conquest was a little peeved but still replied, "Squire, you must show me respect; it is LORD Conquest or my lord or you may still use your majesty... But no I'm not a spirit of truth, I am merely the most perfect being in all of existence, so I am always right and always know what is best. It is my great gift to the world that I can share MY truth with others and allow them to follow me."

 

He gave a sigh, "and yes, I have two other siblings, my older brother who is a brute named War and my eldest sister who is dreadfully boring and has no creativity, her name is Death."

 

Conquest paused and gave a long hmmmmm as he thought about the last question, "I believe she will eventually drive him into such deep suffering that he will wish for death. To grant that she'll make him brain dead and steal his body; she does it because she wants to be mortal!" (God, he's sooo wrong that it hurts)

"W-wait, you didn't know he's n-not a bow and arrow, he's the S-Spear that L-Lightwing has right now! His n-names Conquest-t and..." she trailed off, "... You're p-pulling my leg, you called h-him a b-bow and arrow as a joke. You s-shouldn't do that-t I'm really gullible!" She pouted a little but it wasn't serious.

"My dear Squire, I was already ancient when ponies didn't even know how to speak.  I know not only truths that have been forgotten but truths that were never known to begin with."  Conquest spoke sweet and cloying into Lightwing's mind.

 

"As for Embers... it took millennia for her last wielder to break, but she was exceptionally strong minded.  I don't know what type of man he is, it could be centuries, decades or years, maybe even months or days.  But it will happen.  I'm sorry that you'll lose him."  Conquest sounded like he meant it.

Steel was laying in the floor by Luna's cot and he found that he couldn't sleep he sighed as he tried to get comfortable eventually he stood up and trotted in place for a few moments before laying back down hoping to get to sleep quickly

She grimaced at the sounds of Wanderlusts vomiting. Whisper stuck out a hoof and rubbed his back gently, hoping to soothe him. "C'mon now..." she cooed "I have some herbs that should help with your nausea." Whisper smoothed his green mane back gently, rubbing her nose against his mint green stripe.

Shadow attempted to ignore the pain, made much easier with the Sunshard's help whether it was wanted or not. He made his way to the very front of the ship and looked onward, presumably in the direction of their destination. "So this... Thing that you spoke about, North Wind I think it was," he sighed, the sun practically exploding was bead enough, but apparently this thing was dangerous enough to be an even bigger immediate problem, "what can you tell me about it?"

 

His question was not directed at anyone in particular, simply at anyone who would be willing to answer him.

Wanderlust leaned into Whispers touch, he had learned long ago that it was best to let her help him however she wanted, cause that usually turned out to be the best for him anyways. A stallion passed them on his way to the front of the boat, he wasn't sure if he recognized him from his earlier confused hallucinations or not. Wanderlust looked pitifully at Whisper and spoke one word at a time so that he could make sure whatever was left in his stomach stayed there, "You. Know. All. Those. Stories. I. Told. You. About. Sailings? Well. They. Are. True. It's. Wonderful. Just. Not. So. Much. For. Me." The then took the herbs from her and started to munch on them.

 

He was surprised how fast the minty juices from chewing them seem to settle his rolling stomach. He started to feel almost normal again, then Shadow asked about North Wind and his stomach was sinking as if he had been swallowing stones. He shifted the leafy remains of the herbs to one side of his mouth and spoke as he chewed, "North Wind killed Luna, Grell used magic and she gave up being an alicorn to come back... But she was dead. And our friend, the blacksmith that wanted to stay behind, North Wind captured him and turned him into some sort of monster to hunt us, we were lucky to get him back to himself but he's still a broken pony now. Whatever North Wind is he is a monster. Luna could probably tell you more, he was somehow in her head while trying to kill her." Wanderlust shook his head sadly and swallowed some more of the leaves.

Steel stood and sighed still unable to sleep he decided to just sit there his head laying by Luna's his eyes closed he would occasionally open his eye and just take in her beauty -wish I could sleep- steel thought - why can't I sleep why gah I hate this-

Luna was fast asleep though she shifted about, and as Steel thought of how he wished he was asleep one of her eyes flickered open to look at him half-lidded and still mostly asleep. She mumbled, "Steel?" then tilled forward and her horn tapped him on the forehead instantly rendering him asleep. Her eye slowly closed as she drifted back to deeper sleep unaware she had pulled in Steel to dream with her.

Steel didn't even try to react so his head still lay there by Luna's head and soon found himself in Luna's dream world he looked around as he wonders around he wasnt sure where he was at so he walked around randomly hoping to figure something out about his whereabouts

Embers got up, walking around the ship. There were so many other THINGs that were going on, but he had no idea what was going on,exepet for him in his and his sword, he sat back down, closing his eyes as he leaned into the wall, looking around and then just sleeping

Lightwing was starting to get a bit sleepy,so she wanted for a place to rest.

Then,she saw that Embers was sleeping too.She knew that they were having problems,but she didn't wanted to sleep alone neither,and much less with Conquest whispering to her things every few minutes

"I'll sleep here if that doesn't matter to you.."

She sat next to him,and slowly closed her eyes,to sleep for a while

Whisper said nothing and left a small bundle of leaves behind for Wanderlust before she took to the far side of the ship. Her legs were unused to such motion caused by the waves so she would slip at times but regain herself quickly. Most of the other passengers were sleeping, even the Princess and her lover. She curled up by the edge and plopped her head on the railing so she could continue looking at the moon.

 

"Thug thu dhiom-s a' ghrian 's an speur...Fàill ill ò hug òro-o é..." she sung to herself lowly "...Spion thu asam mùirn mo chléibh...Fàill ill ò hug òro-o é"

 

It was an old song, and though the language was old, it still incurred feelings of lament and despair.

Luna's dream world looked very much like Equestria in ancient times more unsettled and wild, and the sun was high in the sky. If Steel listened closely he would hear a slight "sssssssss" on the wind... As he continued to wander it started to resolve itself and suddenly, "ssssstttttteeeeeeeeeeellllllllllll!!!" Luna slammed into him with a flying hug that sent them tumbling end over end. She looked much younger, though in this world she was an alicorn again, clearly she was dreaming of a time long long ago.

Steel hadn't noticed the noise till he heard Luna scream steel and tackle hug him he smiled and stood seeing the area around him plus Luna's appearance of being younger and the fact she was an alicorn made him realize where his was "I'm in a dreamscape" steel thought aloud "not mine though" he looked up and Luna and kissed

Embers slowly woke up, finding that he had fallen sideways...Onto light. He just to his feet, blushing like mad as he took as step away from her. He sighed and shook his head, happy that she was not awake before looking around and walking back up to the top of the ship

"Steel! I'm so glad your here! You're not supposed to exist yet!" She nuzzled him and nibble playfully on his ear, "you should come see Tia and meet Star Swirl the Breaded, we were just in the middle of our lesson when you showed up!" She got up bouncing around much less regally than she normally behaved. "Come on!" She took to the air and start flying at an alarming speed towards a distant looking mountain.

Luna looked back curiously at Steel, "A dream? It can't be a dream, I know when I enter other ponies dreams. I'm the princess of the night Steel; I know dreams when I see them." Below them the mountain range was spread out and the mountians were clearly made of strawberry wafers and had a chocolate river winding between them.
