Flash looked between the two, confused. "Umm... alcohol is required as a DJ?" he asked while he thought over this and rubbed his shoulder even though it didn't hurt. Again the mares brought a sense of confidence to him. "And I do like classical, though I produce more trance type stuff I suppose. Some soft synths, mixture of light and heavy saws, bells and plucky stuff really. I guess you could call it house if you wanted. I usually have two or three instruments that have a similar sound in each of those so that I get this sort of layering effect. " He said before shrugging. "And you should drink some water, Amber, it'll help with the hangover."

Amber waved off the offer, putting on her best face. "Give me a minute and I'll be fin. You get used to it eventually. Wouldn't be my first time I've woken up like this." She rested her head back up against the couch, making sure not to exert herself. "I guess it just comes with the gig." It was a partially true fact. Amber had preformed in nightclubs mainly, eventually it had just become a part of her lifestyle.

"Ah, so you're a sort-of DJ? You don't strike me as much of an outgoing performer." She indicated to where he was rubbing his shoulder for emphasis. "Oh, and I've nothing against classical, it's just that the ponies who tend to associate themselves with it can be rather uptight. I'm not saying that you're a snob or anything, just putting it out there."

"I haven't got much planned. I was hoping to jam and record a bit with other musicians, but since there's only DJ's beside you I guess that is not going to happen." Scribblegroove checked to see if anyone else had entered. Not yet it seemed. "Oh, and I'm going to perform live of course. I don't do that a lot. It is not very entertaining to look at a pony standing still, making music with magic. That is why I usually sign alongsidw the music, or I play the actual instrument during a solo. It shows that I can actually play most instruments quite well, and do not only rely on my magic..."

Scribblegroove looked into diamond's eyes. He almost felt like he could drown in them. Suddenly the music he was playing started to faulter. Strange distorting noises were added. He quickly deactivated the spell. "Wow that hasn't happened to me before." He said, putting his hoof to his head. "I guess I lost my concentration for a sec...". Yet again he tried to changs the subject. "H...how about you? What are you going to do the next 2 days?" For some reason he felt attracted and at the same time repulsed by this mare. It was a strange feeling and he couldn't keep his emotions at bay anymore. ""What the buck is going on with me?"" he thought.

He didn't know where Amber had gotten the notion that he considered himself a DJ, which he didn't. He did, however, have a few DJ-ing things at home that he didn't bring because it would be too heavy to carry. All he had with him were his two launch pads and laptop along with his headset. All he really had to do was press space and let the song play but if that was considered 'DJ-ing' he guessed that he may have been, though he doubted it and doubted that anyone at the party would even care much for his music. "I.... think I'm good....." he said sheepishly with his ears flat as he levitated his laptop closer to himself as if they would try and steal peaks from it. He also plugged his headset in just in case the song accidentally played.

Scribblegroove grabbed diamonds hoof and pulled himself up, only to be nearly knocked down by flash nearly running into him. "Wow, easy there..." He said, before realising that he had already ran for the bathroom and closed the door. "Strange" He said to himself." He waited for a while and thought "Why did he run for the bathroom? Couldn't he have just walked there"

As soon as he had regained his balance he walked towards a large table which was full of all sorts of drinks. Most of them were alcoholic. Scribblegroove used his magic to pour himself a large coke with a tiny little bit of rum. He didn't like to drink too much. Usually he got very friendly and loose when he had a little alcohol, but some ponies considered it 'touchy' when he went too far witht he drinks. He also poured an appletini for diamond and passed it on to her, keeping it afloat until she grabbed it. "Appletini right? There you go. Lets go check out the next floor!"  He said to diamond with a smile. "I'd like to see what kind of aperature a penthouse like this has to offer." He started walking towards the stairs.

"Oh god.... why?" he said to himself as he started to pace quicker. He couldn't go out on stage with that many ponies watching him, judging him, there to either praise him or boo him off stage. Both scared him. He had to leave, he couldn't do it. Flash burst out of the bathroom and went back to the sofa and saw both mares looking at his computer. Flash ran over and snatched it from them with his magic, lifting it high into the air. "What do you think you're doing?!" he looked at the screen and let out a sigh seeing that the song hadn't been played. "Awesome. Now I just need to- hey! What gives, man!?" The laptop was taken from under her nose. Flash seemed to have returned with some new kind of attitude. Amber really hadn't expected his reaction to be like that, she'd always justified her behaviour by simply being "out-there". If he was too shy or too uptight to deal with it then it wasn't worth her time.

"Come on, we didn't mean anything by it. We just really wanted to listen to your music." She gestured her earphones towards him. "You can listen to mine if you want. It's nothing special, but fair is fair." By now he had already left. Amber sunk back into her chair, pouting her bottom lip. "Is he really that sensitive? Did I do something wrong?" Scribblegroove was already walking up the stairs, not waiting for encore's reaction. Encore would stop him if he was not supposed to go there, but why invite musicians to your house and NOT let them in your recording rooms. It wouldn't do any harm to nose around a little.

When he got up the stairs he was a little bit confused. The room he entered was still kind of bit. Another lounge-ish space just like downstairs. However, there were two big doors to the left side of it, hiding the studio's from fight. Scribblegroove couldn't help but get a little excited. His Jazz-team didn't have any great budgets, so their recording rooms were good, but not great. This place however looked like it could afford recording tech of the gods. He waited a while for diamond to get upstairs. When she was, he walked towards one of the big doors and opened it.

Scribblegroove was not dissapointed. The room led to a big storage room full of equiment and instruments, with a few walkways inbetween them. The sound-proof wall on the opposite side of the one he had just entered through led to a room with a gigantic switchboard. Some call it "The studio in a box" Since it has the best of everything you can get out there to record anything. It had about 64 entrances, enough to record an entire orchestrea. The monitors on the side of it were currently on black, but would display the soundwaves that every singe instrument produced in the room that was behind a glass window. Another door to the side of the enormous switchboard led into a big, empty soundproof room, built to prevent soundwaves from echoïng around. There was space in here to fit, as he thought, an entire orchestrea of ponies in it!

His jaw dropped... The soundproofing of this room alone must've cost around 12.000 bits, calculating out the installation. This truly was a music-walhalla. The music instrument in the storage of instruments would probably add up to something over 25.000 bits, and the switchboard was perhaps around 10.000 bits. And then to think that this entire room had to be custom built to give the perfect accoustics. And on top of that, there were TWO studio's!

He then realised he was in the vicinity of a lady. He shut his mouth, right before he started drooling on the floor and exclaimed: "Well, this looks pretty impressive doesn't it..." He turned around to look at diamond, hoping she'd be just as impressed as he was. If not, then he'd like to see HER studio as well. He listened to her answer while he was playing around with the switchboard a bit.

He looked at Diamond and chuckled as well. "The most expensive piece of equipment I have was the custom mic that Leonard has made for recording my horn. It looks really stupid, like a hat on top of it, but it gives a sound quality equal to... well, near-reality actually. He didn't exactly tell me how much it cost him, but he said his university had funded the project, so I think it is worth quite a lot..." He explained. "The rest of my studio isn't very impressive.
