I think that the real question here is WHY would you want this?

I don't have a piercing, but it does look like it would hurt quite a bit and it would probably get annoying too.

People like diamonds in such piercings and honestly from any distance...it looks like a zit.

Punching holes in your face never appealed to me.

This topic is ages old but

I mean what I like to tell people considering piercings is this.

Do your research and go have it done if it’s what you want.

I could say it hurts, you could go have it done and it won’t.  I could say it doesn’t and you could go have it done and it will. I take my piercings like a champ and piercers like me for that. If you take pain well like I do than you should be fine.

I like to mention to people however oral piercings are known to lead to dental issues. I’ve talked to quite a few people online and off who have ended up with receding gums or even the tooth behind the piercing breaking. My hair stylist and I were talking about this my last visit. She had a bottom lip piercing for a few years and one day she felt something hard in her mouth. Her tooth where the piercing was broke.

Thats one of the reasons why I’ve never gotten any oral piercings despite how badly I’ve always wanted spider bites. I’m not having broken teeth.

I worked with a girl with a Monroe. When we talked piercings she said hers didn’t hurt but it did cause her tooth behind it to break after a few years.

broken teeth.

This is why I’ll never get an oral piercing. I love my nostril piercing, and I have a bunch in my ears, and I’m down for strategically placed tattoos, but I like my teeth, and I’ve had enough work done on them. I don’t need more because of facial jewelry. I do like how it looks though.

Same here. I’ve spent way too much money at the dentist as is. Can’t win. They always find something wrong. As badly as I always wanted spider bites

Im not willing to have broken teeth or receding gums for it.

I’ve read if you get plastic backings it’s not so bad. However I’d rather not risk it.
