Equinox smiled as he stood up. "You know it is funny because that drained me but I can kill you all with one spell" He said as a orb appeared around him. "I will blow up this whole area if you want me too...it will kill me but it will end you gladiator arena battles" He said as the orb was black and looked like it could explode

"No!" Blaze shouted he couldn't allow Firelight to escape not after all that he went through to see this bloodshed! Blaze pointed to the two and told them to rush the Pit and open fire on them both "Sir shoot at what the flames?"

"They're inside you incompetent idiots!!" Blaze was furious he went through so much trouble to see this and everything was being wrecked by rebel trash!!

"I WOULDNT IF YOU WANT ME TO CAST THE EXPLOSION SPELL" Equinox yelled as the orb got smaller. "The smaller this orb get the bigger the explosion right now it's small enough to clear a school out" He said. "Get out of here now" Equinox said to Shadow and the other pony

Firelight looked at Shadow with a small smile. He nodded and said "Alright, but we are taking Sky with us. I have some fire inside as well." His eyes glowed faint red as he built up the energy inside of him. "Help me attack the troops." he said. Suddenly Firelight had his own aura of flame surrounding him.

"Blow it!! You won't do it!! You'll level this place to bits killing yourself as we'll and we both know you won't sacrifice Firelight!" Blaze was calling his bluff, and even if he wasn't Blaze would survive and the only people who would die we're the people who we're watching the gladiator fight

"Sacrifice comes at a cost...plus I won't die...just be badly injured" Equinox said as his hood was removed showing purple eyes. "Besides....Shade wont mind if I kill many ponies he's asleep only im here...his insane side" Deranged said as he looked at Shadow. "Get him out of here or he is going to die also" Deranged said

"I'm sick of this, rush the Pit!" Blaze ordered his troops, "and as for you, I've had just enough of you!" Blaze tool out Clarent and created a fiery hurricane surrounding Shade, all the while raising Shades body temperature slowly "try carting anything in that I dare you it'll get sucked Ito the vortex!" Blaze was proud of himself he might actually get to see this gladiator fight after all

He smirked as the orb turned into a blade. "Trick #1 bluff your opponent" Equinox dashed forward avoiding the vortex and appearing behind Blaze and stabbing him. "Bleed for me darling...just bleed" He took the blade out and got away. "Just bleed and bleed till you can't bleed anymore"

Firelight knew tthe time was now. He dived out of the fire Shadow had created and landed in the vortex the Blaze had created. Pushing out more energy he made a vortexx of fire of his own, spinning in the opposite direction. The two cancelled each other out and Firelight stood proudly, albeit a little tired.

Shadow nodded in agreement before drawing his katana and one of his short blades. Using his magic he shot his katana into the VIP box and the other blade outside. Shadow quickly grabbed Firelight after he'd left the fire orb and teleported both of them into the box thanks to the teleportation spell on his blade handles. Once inside Shadow took his blade and cut down any ponies in his way. "Hurry and get her!!! Teleporting three ponies isn't going to be easy!"

Blaze took the ponys Hooves and pushed the blade in farther "I'm not afraid to die" Blaze didn't flinch he looked at the two and grimaced he'd let them leave and talk to his commanding officers and access the situation, Clarent crated a wall of blue flames shielding its master cutting Shades blade in two leaving shade with only the hilt, the flames burned so bright anything that touched it would melt "always there for me Clarent" Blaze whispered

Firelight nodded and ran towards Sky Flower. She gasped as he appeared and ran at her. He grabbed her and threw her over her shoulder. He called down to the purple eyed pony and said "Let's go!" He ran over to Shadow and nodded saying "I'm ready." He held Sky tighter as he prepared to be teleported.

Equinox smirked. "You know...I can't burn" He said as he cut Blaze in half and took his heart out with it connected to him. "Anylast words Blaze...before I eat your heart out" Equinox smiled. He had no sympathy in his voice as he looked at the heart. Still beating

(((Well that escalated quickly, guess I'm dead I'll come back as a cyborg later on maybe, like Raiden from Metal Gear Rising Re-vengeance)))

Blaze was astonished the flames should have consumed his soul, as Blaze spoke his last words "Jokes on you..... Clarent"

As Blazes voice trailed off the Flame Sword Clarent cracked and sen a heat wave large enough to consume the world, Clarents wave was weak without its master and only burned at a small degree, (70 degrees maybe) the blade then broke and chattered to the ground

"Damn it Deranged I told you not to kill" Equinox said putting the hood back on. "I can't help that this guy was about to kill you...anyways" Deranged spoke as Equinox left.

 

 

Meanwhile a Pegasus who was watching the whole time came down and pick up Blazes body. "You sir...could be useful for my cause" The pegasus flew off leaving a trail of fire behind him.

Firelight looked on in astonishment. Commander Blaze was defeated? He was dead? Impossible! Sky gasped from his shoulder and covered her mouth with her hooves. Firelight turned to Shadow and nodded. "Let's go." He would just have to trust this pony. He didn't have a choice.

Shadow sliced through two more guards before he turned. That was his biggest mistake. Shadow felt himself get hit with a rifle round in his right shoulder dropping him to the ground. Shadow got up in pain before putting his injured hoof on Firelight. Shadow's horn glowed white before he teleported the three of them out of the arena and out into the main town. Shadow limped to his short blade and picked it up sheathing it for the time. "Come we have to make it to my safe house until nightfall. Then we can go meet my contact." Shadow started limping down the alley.

Equinox went up next to shadow. "You feeling okay" He asked as he looked at the wound.

 

 

 

The pegasus made it to a tower and went inside before laying the body of Blaze on a table. "Equinox...once I make this guy stronger you're dead" The pegasus said as he started grabbing mechanical stuff from places

Firelight dropped Sky and ran up behind Shadow. "No time." he said. He threw him on his back and ran. "You tell me where to go." he said. He still felt strong. That battle had barely had any effect on him. Sky flew next to them, keeping up. She looked at Firelight with concern. She hoped he wasn't too weak and he could handle Shadow's weight. Firelight glanced behind him to make sure Equinox was following.

The ashes of Clarent were left with nothing but shards of a once powerful blade, "...my....master.......will....live again" the blade screamed while the shards collected in the wind and flying after it's once whole master, one shard strayed and cut Shade across the face leaving a fiery slit in his face.

"Son of a" Equinox stopped as he felt the cut. "Damn...it all" He said.

 

 

 

 

The pony did some work with fixing Blaze together removing one of the eyes and replacing it with a robotic one. "Almost done...now to make a new heart for him and start it up and see how he works" The pony said as he got a heart that was fueled and powered by nanites. he fused the heart into the body of Blaze and started him up. "Arise Blaze" The pony said as he saw the shards of his blade. "Your weapon is here also..."

The shards of great Clarent collected above its master reforming and reshaping until it was once again whole, Blaze lay there on the table awaiting to be reborn again, what this Pegasus did not know was that Blaze served no one,

Dead Eye walked back to his apartment and stowed his suitcase under the bed. He then called up Dex again to see if there were any contracts available.

 

"Hey Dex" he said into the phone, "Got any more work for me?"

 

"It's funny you should ask, I just got an unusual request"

 

"Sounds interesting. Who's the target?" Dead Eye asked.

 

"The Pit Master for the Arena. It seems as though our client is trying to control the betting tables" Dex said

 

"I'll be sure to remember that next time I bet on a gladiator" Shade said, "So are there any side requests to this one, or can I just shoot him?"

 

"He just needs to be taken care of, The means to do this do not matter" said Dex, "So are you up to It?"

 

"Always" Dead Eye said as he hung up the phone.

Equinox looked at Shadow. "Listen I can fix that wound for you if you want" Equinox said. ​"Damn it Deranged...you made me seem like I'm some crazy murderous psychopath" Equinox thought. "I didn't know you wanted to have a life and have people think of you as normal" Deranged replied
