Ocean's eyes widened and her jaw drops, "Y..you'd trust me with such an important task?" she stutters a little, "I... I promise, I will do my best and won't let you down!" She exclaims, "where do I start sir?" she asks Thunder-Dash, in all seriousness, "Oh, I almost forgot, my name's Ocean Breeze, but Ocean or Breeze is fine, my friends call me Ocean, that is, if I actually had any" she whispers the last part

"Well, why don't you stick around with me for a while." Thunder stated as he gathered some electricity and made a checklist on a clipboard, and a pencil appear. He levitated both in his electric abilities. He had two checks on the list. "Alright, so far I've got two things down. Guards are in position, and undercover has gone to spy. We must wait for more news. This will determine our next action." Thunder stated.

Ocean nods, she was still in quite a bit of a shock at being given such an important task, She took a good look at Thunder Dash and something inside of her clicked, and she couldn't help but think "He's quite handsome, I hope he thinks I'm beautiful" as she stares at him, not realizing it, she couldn't help but let a small smile creep its way across her face.

Aaron entered the confines of Celestia's room. There were papers strewn through out the floor and the sense of frustration the closer he got to her room. He knocked on her door and was met by a muffled.
"What?!"

"May I come in?"
He heard a quick shuffling on the other end.

"...Enter."
He did as ordered. Upon inspection, the room was far worse than that of the halls. You couldn't even see the floor with all the documents piled around. He tried not to step on anything but it was to no avail.

"Hello, Aaron. How may I help you. I ask that you keep it quick. I am very busy as of now."
"I just wanted to say thank you for my gift."
She looked him over. Her eyebrow was cocked.

"A letter would have been fine."

"I know, but I wanted to thank you in person. A gift as such should be met with nothing less."

That eyebrow was raised a few centimeters.

"Well... you're welcome. Now, I ask that you leave me be."

Aaron turned his back and was about to go out the door. Looking down he had an idea.

"Pri- Celestia. Would you like some assistance handling these? At the very least, organizing them a bit?"

She looked up. He could see the rings forming around her eyes. She hadn't slept in a long while.

"...Fine. You're welcome to try."

A funny feeling washed over Thunder Dash, as if he knew that Ocean was attracted to him. "Hey...you look a little funny...are you alright?" Thunder Dash asked as he just looked at Ocean, hoping that this didn't offend her. A very light redline appeared across Thunder's face.

Ocean quickly snapped back to reality, "O...oh, I'm sorry, I..I didn't mean to stare it's just that... well.." she gulps, "I..you're very handsome and attractive!" she very nearly blurts out and covers her mouth with a hoof, and blushes, "D...did I just say that out loud?" She asks, "I.."

"Oh...why thank you." Thunder stated he blushed a little deeper and scratched the back of his head. "Well, I have to admit, that you're beautiful as well." Thunder stated returning the compliment.

Ocean smiles, "T..thank you sir, th..that's the first time anypony has ever said that to me" she stutters again, her blush deepening, "I..if we have the time, I..I'd like to have you over for dinner, if that is alright with you?" she states then realizing the task at hoof, "Is there anything that I can do right now?"

"Well, now that the guards are under our command, give them orders. No guard must be left without a job to do. If you see a unicorn guard, make sure you have them stationed in a place where if an intruder tries to get in, they'll defend Canterlot. Have them hold fire, if it's an undercover, or a high officer who resides here in Canterlot." Thunder stated.

Aaron began sorting through the flood of papers. Trying to get some form of organization going. All the while Celestia looked through the papers herself. Within an hour Aaron managed to get the papers into a few stacks. One for finance, war reports, etc. Time went on and soon enough Celestia's room was now livible. Then the hotel room followed suit.

"Alright, I'll go looking to see if I see any that need orders" Ocean hugs Thunder Dash and pecks him on the cheek then flies off.

As she flies around Canterlot, she couldn't help but think about Thunder, and blush a little "Keep your head in the task girl" she says to herself

Thunder kept watch on the ground. An undercover guard ran to him. "Thunder, the evil foe has nearly planted itself inside Luna! I'm afraid we've got a bigger situation than you had thought..." The guard said. Thunder sighed. "Nightmare Moon...this foe won't get away with this..." Thunder stated as his anger started to boil.

Ocean keeps flying then she sees a unicorn guard standing idly by, she lands next to him, "you there! what do you think you are doing?" She scowls at him

 

"And just who may you be ma'am?" the Guard scornfully asks,

 

"I just so happen to be the mare that Thunder Dash has put in charge, now, how about instead of standing about you go find somewhere to make sure the enemy cannot get in!"

 

The guard snaps to attention, "ma'am, yes ma'am!" he then rushes off.

 

Ocean shakes her head, "how does Thunder do it?"

Thunder then shot up into the air creating a small explosion. He then flew to the top of Canterlot, where Celestia's castle still stood. The guards up there had the door guarded. "You must protect this castle at all times, the one symbol that remains in Equestria, until it's brought back together." Thunder commanded. "Yes sir!" The guards replied. He then flew back up and noticed Ocean in the air. "Ocean!" Thunder called out.

Ocean saw Thunder Dash up in the air and waves to him, she shouts "Hey Thunder!" back to him, she had already told a few guards off for just standing about and was feeling kind of hungry, she spreads her wings and flies up to where Thunder is, "Is it lunch time already? It doesn't seem like any time has passed us by at all, or is that a part of what the enemy can do?"

mirrorwing perched on his cloud, "i still need to speak to that human" he sighs. he jumps and spreads his wings, just gliding to where he can see aaron helping princess celestia"at least hes helpful".....

Celestia collapsed on the bed tired. Her work was done and three hours earlier than normal. Maybe Solar Spear was on to something about that assistant. Aaron was placing the rest of the papers in a filing cabinet the found in the closet under a pile of stuff. How Celestia never used it was a mystery on its own.

falpping his wings to remain aloft, mirrorwing taps a window to get celestias and aarons attention, sees the room organized, "holy crap, theres a floor under that mess of papers?" he jokes to himself. "sigh, i hope he can help, becuase if things escalate, im gonna have to leave her side, for the first time in centuires" he taps the window harder when they dont seem to realize his prescence

Aaron sees the window to see Mirrorwing. He went over to let him in.

"Hey buddy. What'cha doin' around these parts?"
Celestia looked up to see Mirrorwing as well.

"Greetings Mirrorwing. Nice of you to join us. Look, this room has a carpet. I always thought it was a hard wood floor."

"Hardly anytime for lunch now. The Canterlot Cafe has reduced it's hours during these times. Let's go there if you're hungry while we still have the chance." Thunder stated as he sprang into the air and flew over to the Canterlot Cafe. He landed and waited for Ocean to come.

Ocean sighed and flew over to the cafe, landing next to Thunder Dash, "How do you do it Thunder Dash? Ordering all these guards around without getting fatigued? I had to argue with a fair few of them before they believed that you had put me in charge." She asks as she walks in besides him.

"Well, they came to me and said that they were under my command because I've got a little secret that I've only told a few ponies. You'll have to come very close so nopony else could hear this. This is considered to be classified information during these times." Thunder stated.

Ocean nodded, she normally didn't trust any pony who said "come closer" but as he was in charge of the guards and he hadn't tried anything on her yet, she leaned in closer to hear what he had to say to her, hoping beyond hope that it will definitely help with the guards who argued with her.

"I'm a Major in the Equestrian Military." Thunder stated as they entered the cafe. When Thunder opened the door, an aroma filled his nose. "Nothing like sweets and food to keep the soul alive and happy." He stated as he held the door and waited for Ocean to come.

Ocean's eyes widened, but she didn't say anything. She walked in with him and smelled the sweets and pastries, wiping a bit of drool from her mouth she sits down next to him, "it sure does smell great in here" she opens up her purse and frowns, a small sigh escapes her lips.
