Solar smiles at her, "T..thank you..again." he says, and his stomach growls, "G..guess we better get inside then" he says, standing up and offering a hoof up for Maya.

"Okay..." Maya stated as she got up making sure Solar was alright. She then slowly started to walk toward Sugarcube Corner. She could smell the fresh sweets that were sitting on the tables. She could also hear Pinkie Pie's silly little laugh as she continued to chatter with somepony.

Solar Wings looked on for a minute, trying to gather what happened. He'd be excited to tell somepony about him and Maya, but he had nopony. He was in fact a run away. He spent his nights on the steps of the Arena. He sighs and follows Maya inside. He smiled but then frowned. He had no bits, so he simply sits down and waits for Maya to get her food.

Maya stepped into Sugarcube Corner. She then went to the front. "I'll have one vanilla cake please." Maya stated as she waited for Pinkie. "Alright, coming right up!" Pinkie said with a giggle as she zipped to the back and returned with a cake two seconds later. "What would you like Solar?" Maya asked.

Solar hung his head, "N..nothing please. I..I can't eat" he says sadly, "N..no money" he sighs, how could Maya love such a pathetic, moneyless run away. He didn't know, "b..but you enjoy your cake, I want you to be happy and enjoy yourself, it is your birthday" He had half a mind to just up and leave, fly away and never look back.

"You can have some of my cake." Maya said as she cut a piece for Solar and then started to eat her piece. All the while, she thought about what could possibly make Solar happy.

Solar looks up, "T..thank you Maya." he says as he takes a bite, the richness and fullness of the taste made him smile, but as it had been months since he last ate, he was famished and he wolfed it down within seconds.

"So I guess you were hungry." Maya stated as she continued to eat the rest of the cake. She then looked down at her somewhat chubby and now distended belly. "Yep...just like the old days..." Maya said with a happy giggle as she patted her belly and blushed lightly.

Solar nodded, "I..it's been months since I last ate anything but scraps and what little rain water I could find" he says,  "Maya, why is your grandda so kind towards everypony? He..he gave me the enhancements and makeshift wings and lessons for free... He's very kind."

"Because...he has a heart of compassion and love, and so do I Solar. Meadowlark was always there for me, when I needed her. I used to be somewhat afraid. Whenever something happened, I would quiver in fear. Meadowlark would come to my aid and assure that everything is alright." Maya stated as she continued to eat her cake.

Solar smiles, "And you have a wonderful family then" he says to her. He leans over and kisses her on the mouth, "Maya, I have never felt love before, but I do believe that what I feel for you is love, though we've only met today." He tries to think of the right words, "Maya, know this is coming from my heart, my heart that I thought was beyond repair, but you proved me wrong. I truly have deep and meaningful feelings for you, you have showed me that I am worth loving, your kindness and compassion towards me, even though I've been nothing but a downer, lifts my spirits up. You healed my wings and you..Maya, words cannot describe what I feel for you"

Maya had a smile on her face. "D...does that mean..." Maya started as she blushed and curled up from a small hint of embarrassment. In all honesty, she was overjoyed by the fact that she now had a new coltfriend, and he loved her for all that she was. She leaned in and nuzzled him on the cheek.

Solar nods and nuzzles her back, "Yes Maya, I love you, I truly, deeply love you" he says with a smile.  "I love everything about you, and we can take this as slowly as you like." He says, meaning the sexual part. He was in no hurry to give his virginity away, nor was he in any hurry to take Maya's from hers. Whenever she wanted it, he will gladly oblige her, but until then, he was happy to take things slowly.

Maya blushed at this as she continued to eat her cake. She soon finished and her belly was quite round. She then found some water and poured it on herself. Her mane got a little wet and she shook some of the excess water off. "So...what do you want to do now?" Maya asked with a giggle, nuzzling Solar.

Solar's wings sprung up a little and he blushed with excitement, from seeing Maya's wet mane and then seeing her shake it off. He tries to hide it, "W..we could go to a park or something. The choice is yours, it is your birthday" he says, nuzzling her back, In truth, he didn't know what he wanted to do.

"Well..." Maya stated as she saw a hint of a wingboner from Solar. "We could...snuggle...in a patch of grass." Maya suggested with a smile as she stared into Solar's eyes. She could clearly see his love for her. She couldn't wait to go tell Meadowlark and Solar about it.

Solar Wings smiles, "I would like that very much." He says, "i must be the luckiest colt in all of Equestria to have such a kind, caring, sweet, loving, beautiful and...sexy fillyfriend" He thinks to himself, halting at the last part. He blushes, "W..well shall we go then?"

"We could probably head home, because...it's getting pretty late..." Maya stated as she saw the sun slowly setting. She then focused her energy and made her leafwings appear. She then spread them out and took to the skies. She then waited for Solar patiently.

Solar Wings says, as he spreads his now fully healed wings and flies up to join Maya.  He then thinks for a moment, "Maya, we should do this properly, so.." he pauses, "Maya, darling. "...I will." Maya said with a smile blushing lightly. She was very overjoyed that she now had her colt friend. She hoped that their love would last for a long while and nothing would break them apart. She soon arrived back at her house. She entered the door. "Mom, Dad! I got a new coltfriend!" She said with a happy giggle.

All she had was that pink flower that she made from the gift and her belly was slightly more round from the cake. Maya realized it. "Mom...it's just from the cake I had earlier..." Maya stated.
