It has been over a year since Twilight took the throne. The two sisters had left it in her capable hooves. Too capable. Celestia's student was so skilled in magic that the two sisters found little to do. Leaving the castle, Celestia and Luna ventured forth into their land to see the sights it had to hold. Now deep in the wilderness, the two sisters camped in the night. The two were enjoying idle conversation with each other of the things they saw that day. They rarely get to venture forth from the castle for pleasure, rather than business. All was well until she brought out a book. A book used by star swirl the bearded. It was his private diary that he kept all his unfinished work in. A mischievous grin on her face, Celestia persuaded Luna to finish one.

 

Caving into temptation, Luna agreed. Gathering around the camp fire, The two began to focus their magics on the fire. Clouds forming above them, the air grew heavy. With a flash, the fruits of their labors stood, or rather on the ground, before them. The two didn't know what to make of the strange creatures. All They knew was that it was a success.

Geoff walked into his apartment before flopping onto the couch. As he went to turn on his Xbox he fell. The world closed into a black as he slowly lost consciousness. He struggled to stay awake but couldn't.

 

Geoff started awake. He could see the night sky as stars floated above. 'Wh...' He began as he heard a feminine voice. He looked to his left and saw another human before looking ahead and seeing two horse like creatures. One was a dark blue while the other stood out white. He sat up and looked them over with a confused face. 'Uhm...what?' He said flatly as he looked around, not sure what to make of his situation.

Aaron was stirring in his sleep. He opened his eyes to find someone he didn't know. Getting to his feet, Aaron was met by two equine like creatures. They weren't horses. They had horns and wings. This was most odd. Cracking his back, Aaron let was happening. Celestia looked over the standing creature that was standing before her. It was wearing strange clothes. Aaron however was looking to the white alicorn.

"Greetings. I am Princess Celestia." She gave a small bow to greet him. Aaron was stunned. It spoke his language. And greeted him in a polite manner. SInce he didn't want to seem rude.
"Hello. I am Aaron. A pleasure to meet you." He gave a small bow as well.

Geoff got up as he heard the two equines' voices. He looked over at the other human, who called himself Aaron. 'Im Geoff. Uh, where are we?' He said as he looked over the three people-and-horses around him.

 

Luna smiled. 'This is Equestria. We summoned you unknowingly, but since you are here, you might as well enjoy your stay. I am Luna, Princess of the Night.' She said as she raised her hoof.

This was a little surreal for Aaron. Two royal horses that spoke English had summoned them.

"Uh, by chance are you able to send us back."
Celestias face grew nervous.

"We uh... don't know how. You're stuck here for the time being."
Aaron sunk into himself, depressed. Celestia knelt down and placed her wing around the distraught creature.

"Look. We're sorry for this. Truly we are. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into."

"To be fair. You didn't pull me away from anything. So, its okay. I forgive you."

'Wait, we can't go back?!' Geoff asked with a hint of worry in his voice. 'What are we even supposed to do then?!' He said as he looked around. 'So...we're stuck in a forest with two princess...horse...things, in a land full of horse things...?' He said as he calmed himself down and sighed. 'You know what? I'm ok with this now. This is better than the other world so far.' He mumbled. He turned to the other human. 'Im Geoff, if you're wondering.'

"Aaron. Pleasure to meet you."

"And I you, Geof."

Aaron sat by the fire. Celestia moving next to him. Placing her wing around him once more, trying to comfort him.

"So. what are two royals doing in a forest."
"We were on our way to a town to get some supplies. You're welcome to join us.

"Thank you. I will be happy to join you. So, why are you in the wilderness. I know, supplies. But why aren't you in a castle."
"Oh. We are traveling the country side. My student, Twilight has taken my place and we are getting to know our land by traveling it on hoof."

Geoff moved next to the fire and listened to the sisters explanation. 'Hey, I'm up for it I guess. So, should we get moving?' He said as he likes around to the odd group of...beings around him. What would someone call two humans and two horses? Wait, they weren't horses. 'Uh, I don't mean to be rude, but what exactly are you? I know you are princess but I don't think we have...you...where we come from.' He asked, trying not to offend the sisters.

"We are ponies. Alicorns specifically. And its a little late for moving. We can leave in the morning."

"Yeah. I agree. Its a bit late."

Aaron looked into the fire consulting himself. This was an odd place to be.
"So, what can you tell you tell us about yourselves."
We were once the rulers of this land, like I told already. But to be honest, I'm a little glad we aren't anymore. We've ruled for a thousand years now."

"Wait. A thousand years."
"Alicorns live long lives."

"I see that."

'Huh. Interesting. Yeah, we should sleep.' Geoff responded. He was surprised by the thousand years. 'A thousand years? We're there any leaders before you? Do you even remember that far back?' He asked with a puzzled look.

 

'Thousand years. That must have been harsh.' He added before sitting back and enjoying the fire.

"You have no idea, Geoff. And we remember it all. And at times, I wish I didn't."

Aaron saw her expression. Something had saddened her. Giving the same courtesy as she did and placed a caring arm on her. Taking her by surprise.

"T-There are times we love to remember. Friends, special days... lovers. Though they may leave us in time, we will always remember. Even those that we don't want to."

She looked to her sister. Eyes growing heavy.

Geoff listened closely. 'Wow. That must have been really harsh. I'm barley remember yesterday...' He said as he watched the fire burn. He noticed the two sisters getting what he assumed to be tired. 'Uh, we should probably get some sleep. I don't know how long your days are but it looks almost midnight.' He said as he lay back and look up at the stars.

Celestia let out a yawn. She was indeed tired. Getting up, she got her bed ready for bed.

"Agreed. It is indeed time for bed. Good night everypony."

Aaron watched the two walk over to the small beds. Aaron curled up to the fire, letting his sleep take him once more. It was a bit chilly even with the fire. Shivering a bit, he felt a warmth take him, looking over, he saw a white wing cover him. With a sense of gratitude, Aaron fell asleep.

Geoff woke up as the sun shone on the camp. Celestia was packing up and Lina still slept. Aaron was still laying where he was the night before. Geoff picked himself up off the ground and moved over to Celestial. 'Uh, good morning.' He said as he began to clean up the camp. His stomach grumbled. 'Do you happen to have any food?' He asked.

Celestia looked to Geoff and looked through the packs. She brought out some garlic bread.
"Here. It's not exactly breakfast, but it should be good for now."

She floated the bread to Geoff and Aaron awoke. Stretching his back, he looked to Celestia and Luna. They were packing up. He wasn't hungry, so he could hold out for a while.

"So, shall we be off?"
"Of course. Lets go everypony."

Geoff gladly took the bread. He munched on it. He always loved garlic bread. He nodded and began walking with the group as the made their way into the nearby town. It looked very peaceful. He didn't see any other ponies, but they were barely into the town. The houses were interesting. Looking around he couldn't find any indication of where they were. 'Where are we?' He asked as he finished the bread.

Aaron walked up to Celestia.

"May I assist you, Celestia?"
"How kind. But I am dine with it. Thank you. Alright. Time to get moving."

The four moved onto a trail and began to move towards the exit of the forest. Within a few minutes, the group were met by the sun. Celestia took in a breath and looked to her new friends. A smile on her face. With that, they began to walk along the path once more.

The group walked along the dirt path for a while. Geoff looked around. 'It seems really nice here. Wonder how they keep the weather so great...' He mumbled to himself as he surveyed the field. 'Uh, Celestia, right? How exactly is this world so...pure? Where we come from its usually dark and te air is pretty stuffed, but this is better than the country air.' Geoff asked with interest, remembering his trip with Chickentooth to a farm outside of Austin.

The group began to move along and Celestia answered his question.

"I do not know. I have not seen your world, thus I cannot tell you the differences. But, over time, you may soon see some differences. Until then, I hope you enjoy the air itself."

Aaron didn't notice it before, but the air was a lot fresher than home. This intrueged him greatly.

'Oh. I jut realized why. You are unicorns, and unicorns have magic, right? Well, in our world, nobody had magic. Magic has to help keep the world working, right?' Geoff mused out loud. He ran up ahead and caught up to Aaron. 'Hey Aaron, did you notice that? I wonder if we could bring back secrets to our world. We might fix a lot of things there...' He said as the pair walked build the two sisters.

"Oh hell no. That's insanely dangerous. Do you honestly want to see this world thrown into the same state as the earth. And what of the inhabitance. Who knows what will happen. I've only met these two and they didn't try to kill us, they were actually friendly. What of they were in the same situation. You know for a fact they wouldn't be extended the same courtesy."

'Fair point. However, they have to have some kind of technology. They might have figured something out we didn't. That could count for something, right?' Geoff shrugged. 'Besides. I don't think taking them back is a good idea either. Humans are fucking brital compared to them. I do still wonder if there is a way to explain their magic...' He mused as he walked next to Aaron.

"True. That would be interesting to know. But I prefer to leave separate worlds stay separate unless they allow us. And I don't really see us getting home anytime soon."

In the back, Celestia and Luna conversed.

"So, what do you think of them, sister."

"The one with the glasses has taken a bit of a liking to you. It is pretty clear to me. The other one has not really been much for talking, so I can't make a decision."

"Fair enough."

'Thats probably best. Speaking of that, does anyone know we're gone? I doubt anyone knows in gone considering I work and game. Dont go out much after Chickentooth.' Geoff asked while he shifted his jacket. 'Seems like an average day at home here.' He said, looking around. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the sisters talking. Years at Chickenteeth made him realize when someone was talking. He heard 'glass' and two and two together. 'Hey. They're talking about you.' He whispered with a smirk.

"Yeah. What of it. They've been talking about us for a while. And as for someone missing me. Very doubtful. I didn't have anyone. It was just me so no big loss. Actually, I was thinking about moving here. The way we got here was artificial so no other humans are going to be here unless they will it."

(The sisters)

"What should we do with them dear sister? They could be dangerous."

"Nonsense. They are friendly. We know this."

"What if its a ruse?"
"Then we'll deal with it."

"You're just saying that because you like one of them."

"Easy young lady."
