The Trotting Dead

David jumped up at the sound of gunshots (Sorry, but it took a while to put together a coherent post here. My post is going to be time lapsed backwards a little). His soldier's training kicking in, and he dove for cover. Realizing that he and Quill weren't being shot at, David stands up and looks around. "That was close. Some pony is nearby, and sounds like they're in trouble." "You don't say? Brilliant deduction Sherclop." David ignored him and turns to his friend. "Want to see what's making the native's so restless?"

Then he heard the trotters as well. He grabbed his sword and shotgun and walked to the door.

He peeked out the door and saw 4-5 walkers.

"I can take care of them....maybe..." He said remembering his leg.

"Do what? Be all sexy attracting those mofo? Nuh uh. I'm innocent i never did shiz." Kenzie said looking at he door. She turned to Ace "Wake Shadow up and tell her to be quite." She readied her sword and stalked towards the door. She opened it and began killing the trotters.

"He tried to go wake Shadow, but she was to deep in her sleep.He walked back out and closed the door, when he came back out to help, the trotters where all killed. He walked over to Kenzie.

"okay guys we're going to fly all day to get to the castle so so avoid the afternoon pegasus trotters we have to leave now. Ace you might want to change your bandage. ANYWAYS! Are you guys ready?"

Shadow Dust woke up. She had a dream where a few trotters were attacking the house (Or wherever we are)

She saw Kenzie in the main room. "Good morning!" "I feel wayyy better. So where we headed again?" Shadow Dust was ready to start killing zombies, but then she forgot that she was a rouge. She mutters to her self "Should I go with them? I want to, but what's in it for me?" What they didn't know was that the antidote she had wasn't all of it. When she was at the science lab she killed everypony. Took

about 10 bottles, 9 since she used a bottle. She questioned Kenzie about their trip. " What exactly are we doing in Canterlot?"

Kenzie shrugged and went inside the house, "I'm gonna get some shut-eye. See you tomorrow!"

 

*next day*

He changed his bandage, even though his leg felt almost perfectly fine now. He grabbed his sword and strapped it to his side before putting on his saddlebags and walking up to Kenzie.

"I'm ready to go if you are.' he said. 

He looked to Shadow.

"Finding my daughter....."

"Where's Rye? He's coming with us right?" She remember how he saved her life twice. If he wasn't coming neither was she.

She prepared all her weapons and made sure there weren't any trotters outside. None.
" Well looks like this might be a smooth trip"...........

Rye had made his way towards them shortly after, "Sorry was checking the ammo on my battle saddle, I don't got much left but if what you say is true about not many Trotters in Canterlot I shouldn't need many bullets". These pony's were fast, but Rye could keep up, he wondered just how long this trip was going to take.

Shadow was getting tired. She could make it though. Besides after that embarrassing moment at the mansion she didn't want Rye or anypony else to carry her. She just tool a gulp of water in her bag while they were flying. "All better she muttered to herself "

Rye great fully accepted the ammo and filled his battle saddle to full ammo, it pumped itself and Rye kept his eyes ahead, he looked around while he was running, no Trotters around, this was good, this meant a straight path to Canterlot castle. What would happen if they did save the filly? Would everyone just go there separate ways? What if they didn't save the filly in time? Rye didn't want to think about that though.

While the group headed towards Canterlot Shadow thought about something that she totally forgot about. While she was in Manehatten she met a group of survivor that, well, disliked her. She stole their weapons, some food, and some water. They said if they ever meet again they would absolutely kill her. Even if they did die all that matters is that she dies. She forgot what they said to her.

 

Flashback!!!

 

Random pony " We're going to Canterlot to live there. If we ever see you in Canterlot we will hunt you down and kill you

 

Shadow wondered if they were still there. If they were she was in big trouble. She cursed loud enough for the whole group to hear.

"Thanks." Kenzie said smiling. She continued flying looking at the trotters on the ground. "Damn that's a lot of trotters. I wonder what started this crap. What do you think Ace? I think it has something to do with radioactive stuff. Like a leak then somepony drank?"

His daughter was yellow fur with blue eyes and orange mane. Her cutie mark hasn't appeared yet. He kept replaying that memory of leaving her there in his head, this time making sure the amulet didn't display it.

They flew for what seemed like hours. And either his vision was failing him, which is normal considering he was still recovering from the amulet use, or they were nowhere near the castle.

"I don't mean to sound like an annoying foal asking this question, but are we there yet? I can't see very much."
