searching Any Harry Potter fans want to do a 1x1 RP?

Hello all . Now I've never role played before, but I do like to write (sometimes get writers block though) and I would like to do a Harry Potter RP. Could be just Harry Potter or could be MLP too. I did sign up for a Harry Potter RP on here but I'm not sure it's going to happen and in any case I'd kind of like this to be just me and one other person and it will be different. If more than one person is interested, that's great.

Here's my idea. We start school at the same time as Harry, and go through the events of the books. Harry and other canon characters can appear in the background and we can talk about them but not be them. We would be original characters.

We can figure out other details later.

(Anyone interested will have to be a patient person, because, as I said, I have never done this before.)

I'm flexible on the idea. We could even do when Harry's parents were in school

Well, I saw you request for a 1 on 1 and it would be my first as well. I have hosted a few RPs already, but never of this size. I am a decent fan of the books as well as the movies (btw, books were better.) I might not know all the lore, but I catch on quick. If you will have me, I would love to take a chance at a hp rp. The ideas are up to you.

I would love to have you join, there is another person interested though so could we maybe make it a three person rp? If both of you are interested in that of course. I think three people could work, because well there were three best friends in the books. Anyway, let me know what you think

I was thinking since there is enough interest, we each could be in any house we want, but all be friends anyway because maybe we met on the train beforehand or even grew up together

Ok, I've got two votes for a just regular Harry potter rp then and I'm leaning towards that myself. So, probably do it on Skype then if everyone uses Skype? I mean I dunno if we could really do a non mlp rp on here.

Btw I'm thinking my character will be named Tetyana and she will be in ravenclaw. She'll be like me, shy but kinda goofy around her friends, bookworm and animal lover. She will have a very affectionate cat named hunter.

We don't have to do it on skype, but I don't think they would appreciate a non-pony rp here. Besides, if the hp rp is in the time of the books, friendship is magic didn't exist so there would be no bronies.

 

I'm using pacific time, so skype works for me because I think you guys are only two hours ahead of me. But maybe we can use the messages here and add us as participants?

Oh that is true, very true I didn't think about that. The books go from 1990 to 1997 don't they? I think, my mind is blanking. So we will have to be careful about technology etc.

doing a group PM on here could work. I'd do Skype, but the problem with that is that you can't go back and look at stuff if the rp gets super long, can you?

I would absolutely love to do just a normal Harry Potter RP (not MLP).  Especially if it's only one other person, it gets crazy with 5+ people posting every minute.

I'm bringing it up Skype because it has no character limit if we get too wordy. What would you prefer?

Hmmm, well i use the Skype app on a tablet and I don't know how to make a group on it, but someone else could do that lol.

I like that I wouldn't have to refresh the page with Skype so it'd be more instantaneous.

I honestly am bad at decisions but I do know the other two already in the rp were skeptical about Skype.

Seems I'm the only one in my time zone lol. I think I'm 3 hrs ahead of you guys (almost 6 pm here), but if required I can stay up lateish.

I wouldn't want to cut down your posts though, I'm kind of leaning towards a PM group on here but if everyone wants to do Skype I will do Skype.

PM is always good for me. Skipe has been really hating me as of late, but I'm cleaning out the bugs.
