*Looks at her and presses his hoof down harder on the wolf* How can we trust him after all hes done? ....  *Sighs and whimpers feeling pain shoot through his wing, he slumps down a little, just managing to keep himself up*  Go back to the cabin where he can have us all trapped in the same place again? .. I....  *Looks back down and stares into the eyes of the wolf and sobs*  I'm sorry... just after all thats happened... this must be even more awful for you...

he then turned to Skilar and Bliss

 

"i.. i am sorry.. i brought you here.. in.. in this trap.. and.. i wasn't able.. i.. was worthless.. " he said while a tear goes down his eye

 

"i'm.. i'm just sorry..."

 

he tried to get up helping himself with the tree, but his legs refused to move, hitting him with other pain

 

"ahh... i.. i can't move... Seth.. i .. i am sorry ..but.. you are dangerous... we.. can't go back to.. the cabin... all togheter... just a little cut.. and.. we are back in the nightmare.. my electric dam is a safe place... for ponies... or a prison... that's all i have.... "

Seth noticed Bliss's quick movement. He didn't see what her cause was, but he assumed she still was afraid of him. Feeling eminence presser on the chest wound, his muscles tensed up as he squirmed. 

 

"I am so sorry for doing this to you guy... I... don't know what to say. I just want you to live. Bliss, Volt, Skylar. I'm so sorry for... everything that's happened. I can help you back to the cabin or where ever you need to go. after that, You can imprison me. Lock me in a cage. Please, I cant live with myself if you of you dies by my paws... again." Seth tried to get up, only to be forced back down by Skylar.

It's NOT YOUR FAULT VOLT *she sobbed on his cheek* I should have been stronger...as an alicorn and a low ranekd Princess it's my duty to protect all beings...and I failed in doing it... *She then looked to Seth, his fangs still putting her on edge* Protect...all beings...including you Seth... I failed you as a leader...

 

*She then turned to Skylar* Brother...let him up... he's of no danger...for now... *Sobs* I...I can only think of one way to stop all of this...but only if Seth will agree...and when and if...I get my strength back... *breathes a bit, shivering into the night* I used my horn to help heal Volt... If my powers can recharge...maybe... I can do the same thing to Seth... But Seth's Vampire side is stronger then Volt's was...it's more powerful then I can interpret... Heck I don't even know if I'm sensing it right... But... *coughs and leans into Volt for warmth* I...don't know if I can remove that evil from Seth... not without your help wolf friend...

After all hes done to us... he will kill us the second he has the chance if he can't control his vampire side, you want to help the very thing thats been hunting us?   *Shakes his head and presses down harder on the wolfs chest*  I risked my life to save you from him.... my wing... *tries to move it and shrieks out in pain* I may never be able to fly again... ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!!! *Snarls down at the wolf, his eyes flick back and forth, his rage and pity battling for position, he growls and stamps his hoof in the snow*   :okiedokielokie:

Seth's breathing was starting to get erratic due to the presser on his body. His sadness was starting to be be replaced by fear as he stared into the rage that was Skylar. He couldn't move if he tried. His chest felt like he was being stabbed again. As the pegasus increased his force, Seth yelled out in pain as he felt what he assumed a rib breaking. He tried to hold back the pain, but it only got worse.

 

"Please... have mercy." He feebly begged. As his breaths got shorter. The pain escalated as he tried to talk. "I... never wanted to hurt you... or anypony... You have to believe me. Please..."

*He takes his hoof off his body and staggers back a little, looking at the wolf whimpering in pain, for a minute or two he watches him silently, snow begins to fall around them gently as the wolf lies on the floor gasping and whimpering, tears streaming down his face. Silently he takes a look down at his own hoof covered in the wolfs blood and begins to sob, the rage leaves him only to be filled with guilt and remorse*  What... What have I done.... *His voice shakes in fear, thinking how his own rage had taken him over, he looks up at the wolf and begins crying*  I am so sorry.... I just... I just wanted too.... *Looks over at Bliss and then looks away again, too ashamed to meet her gaze*  

 

*As there stare at him he panics and gallops off while sobbing bitterly, the tears stream out behind him as he gallops kicking up snow and ice behind him as he flees.  He runs for a few minutes before stopping to catch his breath, he shivers badly and limps over, sitting down on a snowy banking near a frozen lake. For a few moments he stares at the lake before breaking down in loud sobs and whimpers, speaking to himself*  I only wanted to save her.... save my friends and..... I was so scared.....  *Flicks open his pendant and sobs as he sees Callette grinning back up at him* I just want to be back home with you Cal.....  *Gasps as the wind picks up and moves his wing, he screams out in pain and thumps the ground sobbing hard, gritting his teeth he began trying to pluck out broken feathers, blood dripped from his wing as he weakly pulled them out, his head began to spin*

SKYLAR WAIT *she tried to stand up to go after him only to fall on top of Volt once again*

 

Gah *sobs* ...Don't...leave us...! *She then looked to Seth rubbing his chest and gasping from Skylar's attempt at crushing him* ...He doesn't understand Seth...nor do I fully...but...I can't bring myself to bare the thought of killing another being...It defies what and who I am as an Alicorn... *pants and sits up into a sitting position, shivering horribly and coughs* I'm...the Alicorn of Peace...the Alicorn of Unity...I couldn't bring myself to kill you if my life depended on it... *Sobs*

 

Skylar is...he's not my biological brother... but...he and I have shared a bond that no other pony, or wolf...could understand... When he was on the brink of death...as a an attempt to save his life... i merged my soul with his...sharing some of my life force with him... That life force still resides within him...and he senses what I feel... just as I do with him... He can't bare the thought of losing me the same as I can't with him... If one of us dies... we lose a part of ourselves...

 

But *coughs, blood starts dripping out of her nose but she doesnt notice* I sense that every time...with any being who dies...and I experience a piece of myself dying with them each time... How could...I kill you...?

Seth coughed hard as the presser was relieved from his chest. In his spasms, he began to cough up blood. When they subsided, he let himself sit there, listening to Bliss's explanation of Skylar. All the time, he was slowly growing stronger in breath (although it was more like wheezing than anything else). When Bliss finished, Seth tried to stand up. He managed to take a few wabally steps towards Bliss and Volt. When he got to the hurt pegasus, he tried to get him on his back.

 

"Volt... I'm getting you to the cabin. there is med supplies there that can help you. I am sorry for doing this to you." Seth said, just barley able to hold him.

 

He then turned to Bliss. "Bliss...*coughs*... we need to get back to the cabin. You can't survive a night in the cold like this. Here you can put some weight on me. I thing *coughs harder, this time with blood* I think...I think I know where the cabin is." 

 

He approaches her, trying not to provoke any bad feelings.

*She nooded to him and struggled to her feet, leaning up against him before her body tried to fall again, she placed a hoof over the wolf's back, while observing Volt...*

 

He looks *coughs, more blood pours from her nose* ...he doesn't look so good... *rubs her nose and sees the blood finally* oh gods...what's wrong with me...?

*Tears an other feather off his wing and yelps out again, blood now splattering the snow beneath him, he buries his head in his hooves and keeps sobbing while sitting alone next to the frozen lake. For many minutes he carries on before trotting over to a thawed patch of lake, bleakly he stares back at his reflection, barely able to recognize his own weary looking face and cringing as he catches sight of his bloody and broken wing dangling weakly in the stiff wind. Slowly he kneels down and begins washing the blood off his face, gasping as the icy cold water splashes over him causing his skin to tingle*

 

*As he finishes washing his face he struggle to open the pendant in his shaking hooves, his warm breath misting up the glass covering, he stares down at it and gives the picture a small kiss before continuing to stare at it, not really aware of his own surroundings. His wing continued to bleed quite badly and now the snow was beginning to fall thicker, he sighed wondering where the others were and whispered to himself*  Probably left me after that display.....    *Sobs and looks out into the trees, wondering if he should try to go it alone and get back home...*

Volt shivered at the idea of being carried by the wolf, he knew that he was 'good' for now.. but still, those pawns scared him, all the pain brought for them.. his blood.. his legs

 

"i..i.. rather.. fly.. there.. i will probably not being able to walk anymore.. at.. at least.. i have my.. new wings .. eh.."

 

Volt faked a smile while slowly crying, his jacket almost completely teared by the fangs, the holes showing the blue fur

 

"take.. take what is left of my jacket.. and give it to Bliss.. she.. she is weaker... at least.. this is warm.. "

 

he said crawling toward her and trying to hug the Alicorn, without evening thinking, seing her like the only hope and light left in the darkness

Seth cringed as he felt the Bliss put her weight on his back. he then looked over to Volt, who had gotten off his back. "If you insist on flying, I do not blame you for not trusting me." He said. He was glad that Bliss was still with him, knowing he had one pony that trusted him. As he began to walk with Bliss, he noticed the blood. He didn't skip a stride, knowing he couldn't do anything anyway until they got to the cabin.

 

"I don't know what happened, and I can't do much till we get to the cabin. Let me at least clear it off a bit." He said, brushing the side of his face against Bliss's, cleaning the blood mark. "How do you feel?" He then asked.

*She sneezes away from him, forcing more blood out of her nose* I'm...I'm...*slumps off his back and lays down on her belly as she watches Volt fly away, holding his jacket close to her back* I feel like I'm being drained... *she coughed out, more blood coming out of her mouth. She looked at it and was mortified and turned to Seth, panic streaked across her face* Am...am I...dying..?

 

*She shivered and focused her mind...trying to increase her emotions...and hoping Skylar would sense her needs...that he needed his help...that Seth needed his help*

Volt was barelly able to stay in the air, he was forced to land several time tring to follow Seth, his eyes only concentrated on Bliss and the wolf.

His only thought was the safety of Bliss, and seeing her being carried by the wolf.. he shivered more

 

"Bliss... you... blood... sneezing.. are.. are you ok?.."

 

"bronchopneumonia.. please Celestia make that is not bronchopneumonia..."

*His ears and head perk up a little as he feels the emotions coming from bliss, though he can barely sense them, he feels as if shes calling out to him willing him to come back. With a loud grunt he gets up and slowly trots towards where he believes the feelings are coming from, his head hangs down and his broken wing drags underneath him trailing the snow with red though by now hes too cold to feel any of the pain. His head continues to spin as he walks on though the urge to see his sister again drives him forward into the ever increasing ferocity of the snow and wind, he gives a weak sniff and sob as he nears where he thought the cabin was, slowly he begins to black out , each step becoming weaker and weaker as he approaches the cabin*

Seth had never seen something like this before. He had seen gun wounds, burns, even missing limbs. However, this was a first: a pony internally decaying; wasting away, as it were. "You are not dying. Not while I still have a say in the matter." Seth ordered. He bent down and tried to get Bliss onto his back. Seeing her in such a condition, he had to keep moving. He had to get her back. He couldn't let her die.

 

As he picked her up, the blood from her coughing was beginning to stain his fur. He didn't care in the least as he began his jury to the cabin again.

*When she felt herself on the soft wolf's back she instinctively wrapped her hooves around his neck so as not to fall, while she continued to cough... Her lungs felt like they were on fire, clogged and tightening with each heave of her gasping for air*

Seth's adrenalin began to pump as the situation worsened. He began to run, ignoring the chest pain he was having.

 

"I'm sorry Bliss, but we need to get you to the cabin." Seth yelled as he quickened his pace. After several minutes, they arrived within sight of the wooden house. When they got to the door, Seth opened it and ran over to the couch. He slowly slid Bliss on the couch, getting a better look at her. 

 

"Please... don't you dare die on me!" Seth muttered to himself. "Don't you dare..."

*Gasps and coughs repeatly...desperatly trying to catch her breath... She looked up to Seth and his demands of her not dying*

 

*She reached a hoof up to him and placed it on his muzzle* You...are...so brave *coughs* to deal with this evil...alone...I swear...to you...I won't die...so that... *coughs up more blood and grips her chest then* I can...help you...to rid yourself...of that demon...wtihin you...

Bliss was losing blood, and fast. Seth couldn't tell exactly what it was was the illness. He paced as he tried to think what to do. If she let her sit, Bliss could possibly bleed out. He didn't know much about diseases of ponies, and he wasn't trained too highly in the medical field.

 

"Bliss, if you can still hear me, I need your help here. I know medicine, but nothing too grand. You're loosing a lot of blood. I can get a blood transfusion going, but that's the best I have unless you can help me out here." Seth said, slight panic in his voice. He ran upstairs to grab his med kit. He raced down and tossed a blanket over Bliss. After doing so, he grabbed a small cloth and cleaned the exes blood from Bliss's mouth.

 

"I'm so sorry for doing this to you..."

*He weakly continues to drag himself through the snow barely able to keep on his hooves as the wind and cold continued to batter against him, his broken wing dragged limply in the ground trailing blood behind it staining the white snow red, he looks down to it and gives a small whimper.  A few minutes pass and he spots the cabin some 50 meters away in the distance, the lights still blaze in side and smoke continues to rise out of the chimney, seeming to all the world just like any other woodland cabin* 

 

*Comes to a stop and slumps against a nearby tree too rest, his whole body feels numb though by now he was so cold he had stopped shivering all together, as he slumped there blood continued to drip from his wing. Sniffing and coughing he opens up the medallion again and smiles at it, even in this direst of situations seeing his mare again even in a picture made him feel at least a little warmer, he pressed it tight against his chest and began to slip into a cold induced sleep, sliding further down the sodden tree trunk*

Volt opened the door of the cabin, slighty before falling on the floor inside it, exahusted, he then dragged himself in and he closed the door with his back hoof, he leaned against the wall panting

 

"is.. is there electricty or something?..i .. i really need it... it really.. could help me..."

 

he then saw Bliss and Seth again.

 

"what.. waht's wrong with her Seth? she.. she looks really really.. bad... we.. we need to carry her to an hospital.. as soon.. as possible.. where.. where the hell is Icarus... she.. he need assistence..."

My...*gasps* chest...feels like...es burning *coughs up more blood. As she did, what looked like a piece of flesh came up with it, it was black and pink at the same time...She looked at it for a second disgusted and morified that it must have came from her own body...but what was it...?

 

She dated back to when she studied about health care at middle young filly school when she used to live in Appleloosa. Some of the most common diseases still rampaged the lands...but she recalled pony history's later events where some diseases nearly wiped out whole towns... Then she remembered one of her favorite stories about on particular disease, and how an unlikely hero rose up from the chaos to save the young fillies and colts of the winter town. A disease threaten to kill all the young ones and the elderly in the most painful of ways...causing upper respitory tract illness. The symptoms consisted of...a fever...chills, night sweats... and fatigue... The diease would destroy the lungs making the host sufforcate and drown on their own blood and lung tissue... The town that was infected with the disease didn't have the means to cure it, and due to being in winter conditions, the only way to retrieve medicine from the next town...was by pony and dog sled teams. One wolf/dog hybrid was able to pull the medicine half way from the town when all the teams failed, saving the town and its young and old....

 

The light bulb went off in her head then, that the disease was called... poniculosis...*

 

Poniculosis... *she coughed* could I...have that? I think...*coughs* the symptoms...fit?

Seth looked at the bleeding mare, then to Volt. Again, he wasn't trained to be a doc, and he knew even less about pony illnesses. Seth placed a paw on Bliss's cheek, then walked over to see Volt. Once in close proximity, he lowered his voice so only Volt could hear.

 

"I doubt we can get her to a hospital if she's doing this bad lying on a sofa. Bliss wouldn't survive the trip. You seem to know about medicine better than any of us, so I need your help here. You may not trust me, but we need to save her. Whatever is needed, we need to do it. Volt, she needs you. Just tell me what I need to do and it's done." He looked into the eyes of the pegusus, hoping he could gain his trust again.

 

"I'm sorry for what I've done, but all I ask is for you to trust me so we can save Bliss. Please."
