Dakota took the elevator down and walked into Stitches experiment room. "Did you get what i asked?" he asked raising an eyebrow "Nope." Dakota said simply "Urgh, you people do not even come close to understanding how important it can be!" he exclaimed.

 

Shadow teleported out of the base and began to walk around, unsure of what to do next.

Stitches was rather irritated. "Do you even know how important these types of things can be?" he asked. Dakota replied simply with a "Nooooooppeee." Stitches sighed "Do you even know what the plan is at the moment?" Dakota shook his head. "You are really are like a wolf, you have the mental capacity of one! Either Ten or his alternate version of himself are going to crack from the power and join us, we just have to wait until it happens" Dakota was rather pissed at Stitches comment "Whatever...."

"Riza, Ah think Ten does all this ta keep ya safe, yer his reason ta fight, and as long as he's got somethin ta fight fer, he won't be goin nowhere." said Six with a reassuring smile. "Also, Rains alive... Ah was with her not three hours ago"

Six shrugged "Ah was.... but now... ah let her go Riza..." a tear escaped his eye, "Her havin ta choose was tearin her apart... ah had ta let her go... it was the only way to prevent more heartbreak fer her..."

Shadow started to walk back to the park and see if Rain was still there. At this time he was at least in a little bit of control.

 

Dakota walked out of Stitches experiment room and headed for the armory. "Stupid scientist guy...." he muttered as he did so.

Rain plodded into Weiss's apartment and instantly wnt for the alchohol. Finding nothing that satisfied her she grapped a loose fifty off a table and headed out the door, promising she'd be back in a minute.

As she ducked her her head and headed for the nearest liquor store, Rain looked around the unfamiliar part of town. She was feeling happier than before, glad she could finally have a single drunken night without any boy trouble. She was sick of having to choose who she "liked best" and just wanted some alone time, maybe chilling with Weiss.

Heading inside she beelined for the heavy spirits. A man with a hoodie pulled over his face stood next to her, looking at the multicoloured bottles. Grabbing the one with the highest alchohol content she tried to smile at him but he looked away, face hidden. Shrugging she headed for the counter to pay.

The gangly youth at the cash snorted and looked down at her. "I'm supposed to believe you're 19?"

"I am," she insisted, plunking the bottle down and looking up at him through narrowed eyes.

He snorted again. "You're barely 5"5, I'm finding it hard to beleive."

"I'm 19!" she insisted, and he smirked and waggled his fingers.

"Alright then, I.D?"

"*hit, I don't have any," she muttered, rummaging in her pockets. He looked at her in confusion.

"Uh, why are you wearing pyjamas?" he asked, and Rain chuckled a little.

"Long story. Look, I swear I'm 19, can't you just let me go this time?" She stared up at him pleadingly and his smirk softened a little. She did a pouty face and he sighed.

"Fin, just this one time." Rain did a little dance and slammed down the fifty, but he slid it back to her. "It's on me," he said kindly. "You look like you could use it."

Rain stared at him and then beamed. "Thank you so much!" she said sweetly, and headed out the door, already struggling to open the bottle.

"No problem!" he called, and she did a little wave as she ran back towards the apartment, knocking over a lady and apologizing profusely.

When she left, the boy turned back and jumbed a little as the hooded figure stood in front of him ominously.

"Hello, sir, can I help you?" he said robotically.

The man just leaned forwards. ^So what were you planning on doing with her?^ he said slowly, face obscured by the dark hood.

The boy shurgged. "I'm not sure what you mean. She just looked upset, I thought I'd-"

^You thought WRONG!^ snarled the man, and he was suddenly over the counter and pinning him to the wall. ^What were you going to do to here?!^

The boy struggled, choking as the hooded figures grip tightened. He gasped and suddenly there was an enormous sucking noise as a hole opened in the wall behind him and he fell through with a scream. Suddenly zombies surrounded him and he was violently attacked as the man watched, satisfied.

Removing his hood, he watched, his completely black eyes glowing as the boy screamed a final time.

Maybe working with Shadow wouldn't be so bad after all...

 

Rain arrived back in the apartment and waved the bottle, taking a huge chug. "I brought the booze!" she sang.

*Weiss laughed as she took out some shot glasses.*

"Alright! Time to get wasted!"

Shadow sighed as he did not find Rain at the park, any control he had left dissipated. He grabbed his phone and called Stitches "I need something to do" he said into it "Get down here with Dakota so we can have some fun" he said sitting in the bench Rain sat in before, he waited for them to arrive.

 

Stitches walked down to where Dakota was "Shadow want's out by the park now" he said "Night out on the town?" Dakota responded. Stitches nodded.

*Weiss smiled.*

Sebastian headed for the park, his hood up.

^If you're heading out to do what I think you are, mind if I crash for a bit?^ he said with a cold smile.

 

Rain nodded and raised her glass. "I'll drink to that!"
