Sebastian opened his mouth again and 1337 slapped him hard, taking him by surprise and knocking him over.

*My current relationship with Sebastian means nothing to you. He is only here to do what he does best and nothing more.* 1337 glared at him, something wild about her.

Sebastian spoke up. ^I'm here bec-^

*Shut UP!* growled 1337 as she aimed at him, but Sebastian was on his feet and surrounded by spirits in seconds.

^I swear I'm not here to do anything bad,^ he said quietly to Shadow. ^I want to help her...^

*SHUT UP!* 1337 was screaming now and she lunged for Sebastian, who poofed into thin air.

*GET BACK HERE!* 1337 then turned to the other two. *This is your fault. He's never like this. Sebastian is my ally and you are not taking him from me!*

Egotist saw the development below and looked at the two near him.

 

"I'm sorry to interrupt gentlemen, but it would seem something is going on down there. If you would excuse me, chaos is my specialty, so you see, I may be of some help if the situation turns."

 

The Egotist jumped from the building top once more this time coming to a stop several feet above the ground thanks to his boots.

 

"I hate to interrupt," he began still in the air, a few feet away from the group. "But it would seem chaos is being had without me!"

Sebastian slowly shook his head at Shadow.

^She would never be the same....do you understand that? And where she is...well, she's beyond the spirit world now. It would cost a lot to bring her back.^

1337 was angrily floating above them, preparing to attack, when she saw the Egoist.

*Well hello fine sir. Ready for some mindless violence? Or are you not up to it today?*

Shadow looked at him weirdly "Why does this really concern me now?" he asked Sebastian sadly. A few seconds later his whole mood snapped "Because if that's true why don't i just go to what i do best?!" he said rather crazily, it seemed to snap back a few seconds later. He punched himself right in the head re-opening the wound from the mirror. He muttered "Ow..."

 

"Look kid, why do you care about her?" he asked. "After all, your partner took her away from me..."

Ignoring Dakota and Shadow, the Egotist turned to 1337.

 

"Mindless? Oh no no," Egotist said with a smile. "With an IQ of over 900 hardly anything I do is mindless, especially my violence."

 

Egotist studied 1337 for a few seconds.

 

"Hm," he was in thought for a second before he continued. "...But you should already know that, no?"

 

The Egotist turned to Shadow.

 

"It does concern you, seeing as who I am and who I can be."

There was a smile on the Egotist's face.

 

"An omnipotent! This is truly exciting!"

1337 did wavey hands. *Oh come now, I'm not that good!* she laughed. *You seem quite good as well!*

Underneath this, 1337 was seething. She stared down at Sebastian angrily as he stared back at Shadow.

*Well, there's only one thing left for us to do, good fellow.*

Sebastian just stared at Shadow. ^I'm no kid. And if you truly loved her, you would've taken better care of her.^ There was obvious bitterness in his voice as it rose. ^1337 did what she thought was best. Rain deserved better than that! Why didn't you take care of her?^

The spirits around him shifted uncomfortably, fear plain on their faces.

"You.....dare! say that to me like i did something wrong when you have the one who did it right behind you!?" he said angrily "1337 decides upon blind nonsense, I did not have enough power to stop her but god dammit i tried!" The thought of his absolute failure began sinking in to his mind

1337 smirked at their little argument. *Humans...* she sighed blissfully.

Sebastian suddenly just stopped and the spirits vanished.

^You did nothing,^ he said coldly. ^Nothing at all.^

He turned and walked away, leaving 1337 behind.

Sebastions last words began to sink in. A large pain surged in Shadow's body and he coughed up a large amount of blood onto the floor. He collapsed to his knees crippled by the pain. He covered his mouth with his hands but blood still seeped out.

Sebastian kept walking when he heard 1337 call him. Instead, he closed his eyes and disappeared.

He woke up almost instantly ran to Rain's building. She was still sitting there, staring at the ground, when he landed. She glanced up and smiled, but it instantly turned into a frown. "Sebastian, what's wro-?"

Sebastian just hugged her. Rain was stiff for a moment but relaxed, pushing him back to look at his face.

"What happened?"

Sebastian sighed and his shoulders sagged. ^It's not fair for me to do this to you...it's better if you see. Come.^

He grabbed her hand and helped her up. Suddenly, they were back in the regular spirit zone, and Rain gasped when she saw Shadow.

"Shadow!" she screamed, and she ran to him. When he didn't respond, her face fell. "Shadow?" she asked again.

^This is as far as I can take you...I'm sorry,^ said Sebastian, but Rain wasn't paying attention as she tried in vain to get Shadow's. Sebastian felt a sick weight drop in his belly at the sight.

Shadow fell to the ground on his side, still coughing. His vision was blurring.

Rain looked up at Sebastian. "Isn't there anything we can do?"

^I'm sorry, but he's gone.^ said Sebastian gently, and he knelt next to her, hating watching this happen.

(Oh, well I'm pretty much at the same spot where I first appeared xD)

 

Scipio looked out through a mirror near the bed Dakota was heading for. He didn't look familiar, but any face was better than the things he had seen during his time in a dark, twisted reality. He instinctively stretched his hand out in front of the "mirror" from his side of the realm, the Seal of Metatron appearing before him as he stepped through it. He was covered in blood, and looked around with a disturbed expression as he made sure he had left the Otherworld behind. The mirror stilled glowed with the strange symbol, and also reflected the Otherworld's version of the room he was in. He smashed it as the Seal disappeared with a flash.

 

"What happened?" he asked as he saw Dakota with Shadow's body...

"Whadahfuq....." Dakota said as he looked at Plague. "Well i have seen you before so i guess i can trust you...." he turned back to Shadow "Honestly....i really don't know...."
