Rain watched as Shadow was carried away by someone she couldn't see, and Sebastian laid a comforting hand on her shoulder. ^if he's getting help he might be okay,^ he said softly, and Rain nodded tensly.

"You know, I'm not sure what's happening between me and Shadow. There was another girl after I died-"

^You only died a few days ago, he can't have another girl already!^ exclaimed Sebastian, and after Rain finished explaining how he'd killed her and the feelings she had right now he slowly stood up.

"Where are you going?" she asked, but Sebastian just stood there.

^That guy is an asshole. Why are you dating him?^ he asked slowly.

"Shadow needed me. I may not have been fully happy but I couldn't just let him die," said Rain quietly.

^I have to go,^ Sebastian blurted, and he disappeared.

When he got into the living world, he stalked forwards to find Shadow, but he was already dead.

^What happened?^ he growled sharply at them.

"#Oh gosh, please don't tell me you're from the same place!" the symbiote said angrily as it spread over Scipio.

"How the heck should we know, we just got here actually," Plague said as he wiped away the blood from his body.

^I have no idea who you are, I just assumed," said Sebastian angrily. ^I need answers, how did he die?^

(He is not dead yet.......)

 

"He's not head.....yet.....he just started randomly coughing up blood...." Dakota said.

^He will be soon if you don't hurry up, which I recommend,^ said Sebastian. He didn't want to think about Rain being stuck with Shadow, especially after what she had told him.

He glanced at Plague. ^I'm sorry if we got off on the wrong foot but I really need to focus right now. If this man dies...^

Plague jumped up and hung from the ceiling and carefully watched the people below. He looked at Dakota.

"Anyplace is better than there..." Plague said.

^A girl I know,^ he said simply. ^Shadow knows her quite well, and I don't think she's entirely happy right now.^

"You are talking about Rain i assume......" he said "So him dying would be better for you then?" Dakota said

^Maybe, maybe not,^ he muttered evasively.

"Well i still do not understand why you are here......" he said looking back to Shadow. "But what do you mean she is 'Not happy' then?"

"Oh gosh not this again!" Plague hissed angrily. A lampstand near the bed trembled before it eroded away in a red glow.

"#What the heck? Hey, you didn't ah... get something while in that place did you? Those fanatics were doing something to you when we were captured..."

^Confidential information,^ said Sebastian, looking at the ceiling and raising and eyebrow and Plague. ^What was that?^

"I think you are going to have to tell me or im going to escort your ass out of here" Dakota replied

"I've got no idea..." Plague said as he dropped down from the ceiling. He looked at the ashes curiously.

"Wait, that thing.... Flauros or whatever..."

"#It reacted to you when you picked it up... Didn't those people say that some power of their so called god was stored in there?" the symbiote whispered.

"Please don't tell me they were trying to put that creature into me..."

^He killed Rain and he's a dick. Do I need to say anything else?^ He looked at Plague and the other person who I'm pretty sure is called Scipio or something but whatever ignore this and frowned. ^I have no idea what you two are talking about but it sounds serious. What happened?^

"You said she was 'Unhappy' just because she was killed doesn't mean she hates him though, you smell of the test tube lady friend, you work with the last person who killed her" he said rather smugly.

"My memories a bit fuzzy actually," Plague said as he turned human again. "I was scouting an area when I got kidnapped by these religious fanatics. They bound me up to some altar in front of something that looks like the Millenium Puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh, talking about bringing around a 'new age'..."

"#It isn't the first time they've tried it apparently, they seemed rather desperate..."

"I got out at the last minute, thankfully... I picked up that Flauros thing and threw it into a pit just to tick them off, but..."

^I know that. Listen, Rain doesn't want this relationship. She still cares for Shadow but he's done too much now; she can't handle all his mental breakdowns. It's destroying her.^

Glancing at the now human Plague he nodded. ^This sounds serious, we may need to try to find out more about this. I'm Sebastian, by the way.^

Dakota shrugged "Well then.....interesting..." Dakota said rather shocked.

 

Shadow stirred in his mind. He could hear the whole conversation. The last thing Seb said hit him like a brick wall. "Really.....Well....i just thought....we could......possibly.......i guess i failed then" His thinking stopped as he gave up. His body stopped breathing.

 

(I needed a good reason to make him just 'give up' on life)

"Oh no, it isn't serious at all! I only just probably absorbed the powers of some demented creature which... Eh, sorry... I'm Scipio... Plague when I'm bonded with the symbiote..."

"#Apophis, why I let him use the name Plague, I'll never know!"

Scipio kicked the ashes.

"Yeah, Shadow tends to destroy people..."

The aura of death over Shadow's now dead body grew stronger as he slipped away. A strange feeling tugged at him, drawing him towards the body...
