visual art My First Attempt at Anime

This is my first time trying to draw Anime. Though I'm not sure it ended up as it though .... anyways, any contructive criticism would be great!

Honestly, this is really good for a first attempt.

 

The only thing that's really wrong with it is that the face is WAY too far out, and the eye is stretched too far long ways.

 

Just fix that and you're good to go.

on further analysis, I'd make the neck shading a somewhat more yellow tone while keeping the black the same (if you're working in CMYK) so that it blends a bit better.

His face is bit long and full but

he has a good expression lines in the eyes

and mouth. And I really like

the shadowing and light play you

also did a bit. Gives some depth

to the whole picture. I would just

work on the face a bit but

its a good first round!

Slow down, dude. You're skipping some steps. Go back and draw fruit. Study some color theory. Do some human studies. Then try again. The things taught in art classes aren't just for laughs and giggles. Also I get the feeling that you're using a mouse to draw this... (don't use a mouse to draw on the computer).

That was GREAT for a first attempt, man! But the eye is too dragged ut and the face are too out c; And the ear are a little too small and it sits a little to high But anyways, greaaaaat!
