Pointers for my first fanart!

Hey there! I have just finished off my first ever fanart and I would love some critique. But don't just mindlessly rage at me for not being the next famous art prodigy! I am merely trying my hand at this, nothing more, nothing less. There is a difference between constructive criticism and being outright rude. This was created with paint tool SAI.

That is not bad for your first fan art. I'm not really a good person for analyzing artwork but I can see that you will fit in well here.

Well, the colours are good, but the anatomy has some hiccups (the neck, arm length) and the whole thing looks a bit flat.

My advice for you would be to study the anatomy for the EQG style (here's a pretty good reference) and try out a bunch of different poses (here are some examples).

This will give you a feel for the figures.

I've personally found that using pencil works best for this.

heres some pointers if your coloring a digital art nothing is pure white not even eyes or teeth or skin/coat/fur add some kind of color tint on the white parts so it wouldn't look unfinished but i recommend light grey on the eyes and teeth if your doing traditional art i guess its alright.
