planning Green Lantern Rp. Who wants in?

Okay guys. I have a few ideas of what kind of enemies we can fight. There is mongul, who over took the sinestro corps and stole almost all the rings for himself. The black lanterns, zombies basically. And maybe an infinite crisis thing where other villains are sent to equestrian. I'll work out the details later. But for now, the manhunters.

all sound like great ideas, but the black lanterns would be almost useless against an indigo lantern. From what I've read they can disconnect the black lanterns from their rings.

darksied? Now that'd be awesome, throw in like a ponified superman and it'd double the fun XD

Maybe, but darksied is tough as is. Adding superman would be a little easy for us to fight him. I want to challenge our characters. MAybe we can only defeat him if our characters are taken over by the emotional embodiments. Then our characters could stand against him.

you mean the emotional embodiments of the emotion spectrum? Uh, aren't they like multiverse level beings with nigh unlimited energy? I could be wrong, but this is what I read about a few of them like the green and yellow ones...

Hm, yeah that would make things too easy as well. Lets just stay with our characters being normal facing him. Going through a struggle and confronting him for the final battle. Maybe the one with a blue lantern ring could also become a green lantern, boosting his power a bit. I don't know, I'll think of something.

I think facing him normally would be epic. And isn't a blue lantern stronger around a green lantern? If that's the case, then staying the colors they are would benefit everyone. Indigo can absorb other lantern energy and copy abilities, yellow can siphon energy, blue and green get stronger around each other, and red I'm pretty sure gets stronger around one of them too.

Also maybe not good to put to much into one rp if you plan on having sequel rp's after this one.  Unless you plan on this one going on one story arc after the other.  Instead of having each story arc having it's own rp thread.

There is a limit to the holes you can create when you use a power ring you could fit maybe 10 or 12 into one hole

Okay. But I'm going to do a time skip soon. A new person wants in and they want to get their character trained in the ring so they seem to do it a little more realistically. It will only be a week.

I wasn't talking about you, you've actually posted recently. But almost everyone else hasn't posted since early on in the battle, and only me and you have posted when it's over. I just don't want this rp to die

Okay, I've been doing a little more research and I may have goofed a bit. Apparently the rings don't generate worm holes, they are already established in space as black holes that can only be accessed by ring wielders because of the protective shields around their bodies in space. So I apologise for that. But this could make use for not suddenly appearing where we need to be. We can already fly, I don't think we need to access tears in reality at our leisure.

Sorry I didn't earlier but i didn't see this thread pop up on the main page where I see threads I've responded to.  I had to use a bookmark to check. 

 

I guess if we do reboot we can discuss plot, how you'd like to have the opening scene be.  Allowed colors, ect.

If white lanterns are extra powerful maybe they should be a gm only characters, so that way the gm has total control and they can't disrupt the rp.
