Moonlight stared at Jacob for a few seconds before facehoofing "first off i don't scream for help i only scream in pain second nice sword third nice armor. Oh yea and you pretty much knocked me out of my hiding place i should probably run now" Moonlight said.

Jacob nodded his thanks to the compliments, but wasn't focused on that. What he wanted to know was why she was hiding, and he was about to ask her about this when his eyes alighted oh her bat wings. A large grin spread across his face, as he mistook them for dragon wings. "Eh, Zu'u koraav hi los gein do dovah? Finally riinur zaarein. Los hi dovahkiin do daar suleyksejun?" He looked at her expectantly.

Moonlight looked at Jacob with a confused expression "i don't speak whatever language is that but i'm guessing dovah means dragon? because it kinda sounds like it. Uh dovahkiin? uh are you saying i'm a dragon?" she said.

Charcoal let herself calm down a bit to show that she liked what she heard. She nodded slowly, not looking at Jaegar as her cutie mark grew again with her power and she recoiled and fell back as if it hurt. She was about to get up again when a clang could be heard from where she had come from. she jumps at the sound and squeals a bit, covering her head up in fake fear.

Jacob looks at Moonlight, and for a moment, under his helmet, you see some kind of strange emotions play across his face. Then they're gone and his face resumes it's usual neutral look. "Hmm? Dragon? Sorry, my mistake. I mistook your wings and eyes for those of a dovah, or yes, dragon." He looks her up and down again, then asks, "Ok, tell me the truth, why were you hiding, and why should you be running away now?" He see's movement out of the corner of his eye and notices his torch on the ground. He again see's movement, but this time, he hears a noise as well. Looking closer, he see's there's two ponies on the other side of his torch. They would've been almost invisible in the dark, but when he hit Moonlight, his torch had flown off and landed right in front of them, illuminating them, at the same time though, making himself and Moonlight visible to them (Jaeger and Charcoal). Jacob steps in front of Moonlight and bellows a challenge. "What is going on? You there, stallion, are you hurting that fair damsel?" He glares darkly in Jaeger's direction.

Moonlight looked around and sighed "while you may mistake me for a dragon which the first time a pony ever mistook me for a dragon pony. Ponies here however might mistake me for a disguised demon even though i am not  and that means they will try and kill me " Moonlight whispered into Jacobs ear.

Jaeger looked at the mare and lifted an eyebrow She must really be scared...maybe, no I can't let my guard down... he argued to himself, being cut off by the clang and then looking up to see yet another pony, this time a stallion. Another pony...and this time fully healthy, not part of my group nor part of the Inquisition as far as I can tell... he thought, the off feeling in his gut started to rise once more, taking a small step back, staring emotionlessly at the stallion "This mare ran i to me, in a major state of shock it seems...if you know her, she is yours to take care of." He stated coldly to the stallion keeping his bow ready, looming around at his routes to run to encase something went wrong.

From the next room, you heard an odd galumphing sound come from the fleshy mutation, and an increase in chittering. As your attention was focussed on these ponies, you didn't look back to see what it was, but you could tell that more of them were coming... slowly, but surely...

Jacob makes sure he is standing in Moonlight's way, obscuring her from Jaeger's view and yells back to him. "I don't know her. I merely heard a scream so I thought I might be able to provide some assistance." He stops speaking for a moment as he takes note of Jaeger's bow, then continues "I must compliment you on your strength. I know how strenuous it is to hold a bow at full draw for at least a minute, but its been even longer then that. How about a deal. I sheath my sword and you disengage your bow. Then we can talk peacefully. Does this idea sound appealing to you?"

"I'm pretty good with swords as for the noise it sounds like uh something not good at all" Moonlight said nervously looking around then sighed "if only i was a lot better using teleportation spells. We'd be out of here " she then nervously looked around again "it also would have been better if that stupid black pegasus wasn't fooling around" she muttered.

Charcoal kept her head in her hooves. But when the strange new stallion came she peaked her head out a bit to look at him. Didn't expect to see any new ponies while I was here. Better keep down a bit till I know what I am dealing with Charcoal thought to herself and was about to whisper something to the stallion. When the sound was heard she immediatly went back into panic mode and hid behind the new stallion. "N-NO! IT'S COMING!"

Jacob squinted at Moonlight as she mutters something about the black pegasus, but decides against asking. Looking around again, he started speaking quickly "Ok take my sword then. Its enchanted so that what ever touches the blade will catch on fire and get burned. The fire only burns for as long as the blade holds contact with your target and the enchantment doesn't last forever." Turning towards Jaeger and Charcoal, Jacob yells "I'm not sure how you ponies are in fight, but I fighting is how I make my living. I'll try and take out as many as possible to give you guys time to get out of here." Looking back at Moonlight, he asks "Are you going with them?"

Not to sound to blood thirsty, but getting transported from your home with no way back trends to leave one feeling frustrated. I don't know what those things are that are coming, but they've never felt a Dovahkiin's wrath before, I'd be willing to bet."

Jacob looked at Moonlight in surprise. "Really? Why? Their boss seemed alright when I met him. Surprisingly cool actually, considering I landed in the middle of one of their special spell testing labs." He laughed. "When I say it that way, it sounds do simple." He laughed again. "I'm not merely from a faraway land, I believe I'm from a different realm entirely." Jacob explains nonchalantly.

Jacob looks over his shoulder at Jaeger and Co glaring slightly. "They tried to...hmm..." he says, his voice trailing off. "Right," he says, all business like again. "Well, that won't happen again, not while I'm around."

 

He keeps himself between Jaeger and Moonlight from that point on, or at least until they leave the sewer, muttering under his breath the whole time, saying things that sounded like "hurting innocent people" and "getting a face full of fire".

"She is right my group needs to focus on our job here, you can take the mare to the surface and get her to safety, I'm sure there will still be plenty of things to fight here when she is safe." He said nodding to his companions. "Ready to move on?"

While all this was going down, a white unicorn in a familiar vest and watch was making his way down in to the depths. Hidden from the monsters by a perfected cloaking spell, Steel Shield plodded along completely silent and invisible. Finally catching on to some familiar feelings, he makes his way in to the small opening that the two groups were standing in. Cutting off his spell, he becomes completely visible. "Hello friends," looking right at Jaeger, he asks, smiling "remember me?"

The white unicorn's eyes went up at the sight of moonlight, then he grinned and said, "Ive seen worse. My ex-special somepony turned in to a demon." Turning back to Jaeger, he says "Sorry for disappearing after the whole...incident. I'm here to try and make ammends for what I did."

Jacob regarded the new comer with respect. Not many people could cast an invisibility spell like that. He was about to say so when he heard his shot at Moonlight. "Now wait just a moment. I'm not sure who you think you are, but you should know she's much better looking then your silly feathered pegasi or what ever they're called."

The white unicorn turned to look at Moonlight, and for a moment, you think his eyes don't look normal, like there's a fire glowing behind his eyes, then the moment passes and his returns her gaze coolly. "Black pegasus. Glasses. She..." his voice catches a moment, then he continues "She couldn't fly. That was something we had in common. The only difference was that I had flown before. After she turned on us though...turned on me, I think she might have ended up able to fly..." his gaze becomes very far away as he is lost in thought.

 

Jacob Lionheart:

Jacob grins at Moonlight. "I don't know, I've always been more partial to leather wings myself. Though my soul is literally that of a dragon...soooo...take that as you will."
