Silver continued walking for a while. The forest seemed untame, more like an evil jungle. "My kind of territory..." he said to himself. He continued to walk and explore for a while until he began to think. "Hmm... maybe i should head back."

He had heard the peach pony mention something about "this cord?" Do they have technology? And what use would ponies have for electronics... Silver decided he should probably head back. They may be leaving soon. He began on his way back, only to find he couldn't follow his own tracks.

They seemed to go in different directions, as if trying to confuse him. "Strange... i dont remember ever walking here multiple times." A chill gripped him. To be lost in an unfamiliar world could be dangerous.

His survival instincts kicked in, and he went towards the nearest tree that appeared to be tall. He got ready to climb it, but then realized with horror. He was a pony. How does a horse climb a tree? He could barely walk with balance as it was.

He let out a sigh and decided to resort to another survival instinct. He looked arund for a while until he found an inviting tree branch. When he found one, he broke it off the tree and snapped off all the smaller branches. "Now," he though, "all i have to do is figure out a way to bend it. Then i will find something to use as string, and turn smaller branches into arrow! I'll have a perfect bow and arrow, as simple as that."

He paused for a moment, then slammed his head into a tree. What is wrong with you? Your trying to do things that a horse could never do! You are such a fool!

Hmm... there had to be some one that knew about survival. Or a way out of this blasted forest. He decided to just walk in a random direction and see where he ended up.

"This is one heck of a day..." Silver thought to himself.

"Yes! Thank you!" said Crystal Flame, eagerly following the peachish pony as she led the group towards Ponyville. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the greyish-silver pony leave, probably heading towards the forest. Geez, someone's antisocial...For a second he considered following, he always did love camping...but the prospect of Ponyville lured him in too much. This is where he would hopefully get his questions answered and find out what happened. Even still, he made a mental note of the direction the pony was going, in case he felt like tracking him down later.

Being careful to not get smacked by the cart, Electrobolt backed away just enough to let it pass by without hitting him. He then looked around at the current group only to notice one of the ponies went missing. *Hey... Where'd that one pony disappear to...?* he thought, looking around to the group once more to see if he glanced over him. But upon not seeing him still, he frowned. *Was I just imagining him, or did he really go off on his own...?* He then shook his head as he thought, *I can worry about that later... I'm sure everything will be fine...* He then proceeded to follow Peach as they headed to Ponyville.

Peach walked slowly and daintily. Her hooves hardly made a noise on the dirt road. They must think I'm being so rude, she thought to herself as her eyes lingered to the far left of her even though they still could not be seen due to their slight distance behind her. "Um...w-where are you ponies all from? You...don't seem to know your way around here. I-I mean y-you seem lost is all," she choked out finally. Her lips curled down as she scolded herself silently for making them sound like they didn't know what they were doing, or rather, she assumed as she normally did.

There was a slight pause in their answers that she couldn't help but notice. This didn't help her self esteem any. Great, I upset them. She glaced up to see the simple little houses and apple orchards she'd seen so many times growing up coming into view. Good. Ponville. This would more than likely turn their attention away from her. She breathed a sigh of relief as the thought hit her. Good thing too. This was making her a bit nervous.

Arty realized that no one was answering Peach's question, so he responded "I don't know where I really came from, I guess I have some kind of amnesia, I'm not sure about the others, but I do have amnesia, and you can say we're lost." he chucked a bit to cheer himself up a bit. "Thank you for your kindness, I thought you would be something like xenophobic, but you're not, thanks again." he smiled.

It was the first time Arty smiled since he woke up without any knowledge of his past, he thought that he and the others would never be treated with this much kindness, he shed a tear from being so happy.

A strange cold wind blew through Silver's body. It made him shudder, and want to hide. He had felt this way before, but never so powerful. The wind seemed to blow in a specific direction, towards the left, where the forest grew thicker.

There was almost a voice in his head, telling him to follow it. Without even noticing he began to walk that direction. As he walked the wind began to blow harder. As it did he broke into a run. He heard voices all around him, although he could not make them out.

Suddenly he stopped. The winds howling ceased. Everything grew quiet, and calm. He looked around breathing hard, heart still pounding in his chest. There was something weird in this forest. Something sinister. Something... Evil.

He felt defensless. Like a lone bird trapped in a corner as the hunter closed in. Was that him? Was he that bird? "No..." he said shaking his head. "I am the hunter. I have survived several years living in the forest. I figured everything out on my own then, who's to say i can't now huh?" He said confidently to himself.

There was a low rumble. A hum. A growl. Silver turned around to find himself at the entrance to a large cave. It was so inviting. A safe place to rest after so long. And what a coincidence too. Almost like, the wind was leading him there.

He looked back to where he came, and figured there was no use trying to get out of the forest until he thought out a plan, which he couldnt do while he was running around. He walked into the cave, hesitantly, but entering al the same. However he couldn't help wonder about one thing. "If unicorns and pegasi are real..." he thought, "whats to say that other, more dangerous creatures are real?" He entered into the caves dark shadow.

He was trapped in darkness. He felt like he would suffocate. He slowly moved towards the direction the wall was, and when he found it, lay down and leaned against it. He let out a sigh. "Wish i could have some form of light." At the word light, a bright light came from above his head. From his horn! "Interesting..." he thought.

Even though he was grateful for Peach's hospitality, her question caused Electrobolt to pause for a moment as he looked to the ground. *Where DID I come from...?* he thought to himself. *I... I just can't remember much... Just that I'm now known as Electrobolt, and that I love games... Nothing else...*

He proceeded to shake his head as he whispered to himself, "Get a hold of yourself... You can think about all this later! For now though, worry about getting to Ponyville first..." He then looked back up to see that the group had gotten a distance away from him. *Shoot, I don't want to be left behind!* he exclaimed in his mind as he proceeded to catch up to the group.

Crystal Flame drew a blank as he heard the question and Arty's answer. So I'm not the only one who has no bloody idea who I am, or where I came from, or what I'm doing here. Nice to know God didn't decide to pick on me specifically. That still didn't answer any of his question though. He still had absolutely no idea what was going on.

He glanced behind him and saw EB lagging behind. "Hey, hurry up," he called over his shoulder to the pony as the group carried forward. "It might've been my imagination, but we already lost one pony from the group, we don't need to turn up in Ponyville with half our group missing."

Her glance turned farther behind her, aimed at Arty. "Oh, that must be so very confusing for you to not remember where you came from. I do hope that you can remember soon," she said in a soft voice; her tone becoming more pleasant and sweet. "And...you're welcome. For the...kindness I mean. Oh, but I'm really just being me. Nothing that special," She assured him as she turned her head forward and down again.

Amnesia, she thought. What an awful thing to have. To have a cutie mark and not know where it came from? To not have any memory of life lessons or family? Friends? Her ears drooped as she sympathized with the other ponies. She wished that there was something she could do. Yes! There IS something I can do! Her own voice sounded loud as it echoed in her mind. I...why I could help them! Yes! I mean...that would be the right thing to do, wouldn't it? A sweet little smile spread along her face as she envisioned how happy they'd be if she helped them recover their memories.

She gasped suddenly. "Oh! We're here, everypony!" She exclaimed in a cheerful whisper. She stopped for a moment to let the other ponies catch up around her. Though she'd been here many times she never failed to rival in it's simple, quaint beauty. Ponies were everywhere. Many were exchanging friendly greetings while on their way to do their every day activities. A few had carts behind them like she had. There were food stands everywhere along the path, and upon looking down the road, more than that. Some had pretty pendants, some sold hats and accessories. There were larger shops as well. Very hustle and bustle for a simple little town. Above them soared a few pegasi as they played tag. They weaved and bounced off of the fluffy white clouds cheerfully as they taunted each other.

She gazed around her with a little grin before she froze again, eye wide, still as stone.

When Peach had mentioned Discord, a sudden flash of a horrible creature had assaulted Cole's mind. It was brownish and a hideous collage of different animals. A wicked gleam was in it's eye as it held ponies in the air with marionette strings.

He had shrugged off the image, returning to reality with a small jolt.

- - - - - - -

Cole stopped when he noticed Peach's expression. "What's wrong?" he asked her, concerned. As far as he could see, Ponyville looked pretty normal. Then again, that thing was loose somewhere around here. She had a good reason to be worried. He looked up at the pegasi playing tag and longed to join them. But that could wait. For now, he'd have to do...whatever it was he was here to do.

Maybe we're supposed to be reinforcements or something, A voice in his head whispered. Maybe we're here to fight Discord and die.

He shook his head at this sudden, intruding thought. No. That's not right at all. These guys don't seem like the type to use people as cannon fodder. he argued.

But what if they are? the voice countered. Let's face it, you know nothing about them. Nothing. They could have been doing this for centuries, to other species-

Ok, that was where he drew the line on the ridiculous scale. He shook his head a second time, waiting for Peach's response. The voice went away, mumbling angrily inside his head.

Having caught back up with the group, Electrobolt looked over to Crystal Flame and responded, "Sorry about that. I guess I got distracted or something..." When he heard that another pony noticed that there was one missing, he looked back to the trail behind them as he thought, *I hope he can handle himself out there...*

----------

Upon arriving in Ponyville, Electrobolt slowly walked around the cart as he looked at the village in front of him. He couldn't help but smile as he saw lots of friendly ponies and colorful buildings. *Heh... This place certainly seems like a good place to live...* he thought, smile still on his face. When he looked over to Peach, though, his smiling face soon turned into a look of concern. "Hey... Are you ok?" he asked her, worried about how she suddenly froze in place, almost like a statue.

Serah gazed at the town she and the other ponies had just entered. It all looked very small to her, but then again, she seemed to be the only one around standing on two legs. A greenish pony seated on a nearby bench had a vaguely human way of sitting, but that's where the similarities ended. This town, and its inhabitants, were utterly foreign to her.

"Perhaps that's not such a bad thing. It's certainly better than the last few towns I past through. Which reminds me, where did I fall asleep last night? I don't remember lying down. Just a flash of light..."

The light coming from his horn made things easier, but it didn't do much. He felt like there was no way out of this mess now. "Come on..." he thought to himself. "Where is your usual sense of direction? You can't even locate some sort of previously walked path." He was beginning to feel frustrated with this new form. He couldn't do anything and had no way of getting proper food. He couldn't make a weapon to use, he couldn't find his way, he couldn't start a fire...

An idea came to his mind. When he said light earlier his horn glowed. "Maybe..." he thought. Perhaps unicorns could use magic. He aimed his head down and said "fire." An orange flame sparked from his horn. It was a pitiful fire, but it seemed to work. The flame harmlessly landed on the ground and fizzled out. He let out a sigh. He went out to go find some wood and material to start a fire. After all, this could be the start of him actually figuring everything out.

He went out into the forest and collected some dry moss and leaves, and picked up some old sticks lying on the ground. He paused for a moment as he saw how difficult it was carrying all this. He put it down and thought. "Hmm... if i can start a fire with magic, can i move stuff with it?" He focused on one of the sticks, and imagined it coming off the ground. Sure enough it slowly rose into the air. "Huh. That was easy!" But the moment he stopped focusing on it, the stick dropped to the ground.

This was a problem. How could he focus on the stick while walking at the same time? He could see it was going to take some practice. He would also have to learn how to move the other things with it. "I knew it couldn't be that easy." He said to himself. Even in a world like this things had to be complicated some how. He let out a sigh, which he seemed to do a lot here, and decided to just practice multitasking and using his magic. It would be neccesary if he was to survive out here. But now things were beginning to look up.

A nearby greenish pony seated on a nearby bench had a vaguely human way of sitting,

(I lol'd :D)

Crystal Flame gazed around the place, a small smile on his face. The only scene that could be used to describe this town was...peaceful. Ponies were happily laughing and chatting everywhere. The lush green grass where some ponies happily trotted blended fantastically well with the clear blue sky where winged ponies flew in and out of clouds. I'm a winged pony, he realized with a jolt, staring at the sky. That could be me, if only I knew how to fly! He had to admit...this town was seeming more and more like a place he'd want to live in. He examined the rustic but charming buildings, and broke off from the group to eagerly begin exploring the town.

Trotting along the dirt road, he realized for the first time that he was trotting. Without stumbling. Walking this way had become almost natural for him. He smiled. That's good, I won't look like the odd one out here. The more time he spent in the place, the more his fiercer personality started to melt away. His paranoia started slipping, to be replaced with happiness. Finally, with a big smile on his face, he arrived, mostly by accident, at Sugarcube corner. "Sweets!" he thought, looking at the shop. That made him realize, though. He had no money. In fact, he wasn't sure what ponies were even supposed to USE as money. Hmm...what do I do?

He'd have to find a job of course. There must be SOMETHING in this town that he was good at.

Her head rose slowly. Her tail flipped itself around in a fluid, perfect swirl motion. She slowly turned her head towards the two worried colts. Her eyes switched between them, landing on Cole. There was an unsettling look about her now as a smirk inched across her face. "Well, of course I'm fine, dear. Why wouldn't I be?" She said, more so addressing the both of them, though her eyes seemed to now burn into Colt.

She chuckled and broke eye contact, glancing off at a random passer by. A resident of Ponyville, and from the looks of it, he knew exactly who's eyes caught him as he noticed her. She winked as she trotted away, faster than his pleasant walk seconds before. That made her giggle lowly to herself. It didn't take her long to turn the cart around so she faced them.

"So, do you ponies need any," she paused, "assistance?" She raised an eyebrow, her grin still just as taunting...tempting maybe. This was clearly not the same personality as the the cheery and hyper or shy and passive. Her constant change of personality must have confused them so. "I mean.., " she continued when they didn't answer her right away, "you know...would you...like a guide?" She almost cooed her words.

With all of these new ponies, she was in no rush to go back home. Not yet. She waited until they got used to her personality change before they spoke. This only entertained her. She wasn't worried about the cart anymore. She could always leave the cart with somepony that could be trusted. Most of them could without a problem. That would be easier than lugging the blasted thing behind her anyway. Nor was the cart attractive with it hooked to her and it's constant creeking wheels.

"Yes." Serah answered, the first word she'd uttered since Silver had tried to check on her. "I'm looking for action. Lead me to it."

"That looming threat, Discord, must be around here somewhere. That's why this Peach is acting so odd, isn't it? It's not enough to just play along with this dream; I'm going to make it my own. And what I want right now is a fight."

Speed completely ignored the rest of the group as she saw the pegasi playing up in the clouds. I'm one of them... She thought, smiling. She started flapping her wings very fast, and she hovered in the air for a few seconds before collapsing to the ground on her face. Embarrassed, she got up and stated to walk off towards where the other pegasus went. He seems to be having fun, She thought as she trotted behind him, only stumbling a bit.

After looking around at the many shops, Speed realized something. She had no money. She always had money with her, but in this dream there was none. (Well, she's pretty sure it was a dream. After all, there are talking ponies here...) She concentrated hard, trying to make some form of money appear in her hand. The attempt failed and she just looked even weirder.

Crystal Flame rolled his eyes. Well, if he had to get acquainted in this town, he might as well start right now. A job would ensure that he could afford a house-he just realized that he had no place to go, either. Wonderful, he sighed. These ponies are nice, but there's a difference between being nice and being charitable. C'mon, think. What's a job for you? He drew a blank. Maybe I'll continue looking. He paced around Ponyville, drinking in the sights and pushing the worry to the back of his mind. Eventually he ended up right back where he started, at the group. Nothing better to do, right? Sighing slightly, he rejoined the tour group, listening as the guide explained in detail sights that he had already seen before.

Electrobolt was confused when Peach asked if they wanted some "assistance." But when she clarified what she had meant, he nodded, responding, "Yes, please. I would love to at least know where everything is." He then looked around some more and noticed some stalls selling things like apples. *So they sell things here?* he thought. *Whatever their currency may be, I doubt I have any money to buy anything for myself... I may have to get a job or something...*

She grinned at Electrobolt's answer. "So very polite, you are," she complimented him in strange tone. More so like "filly talk". She motioned with head for anypony that wished to follower that they had the okay. She'd be their guide. They looked like they needed one anyway. Badly.

She trotted to a small stand that sold blankets and whispered a few words into the pony's ear that was managing it. He looked uncomfortable, but seemed to agree with what she'd asked him. He nodded his head quite quickly, and swallowed hard. It looked as if at any moment beads of salt would begin to sweat through his coat. She thanked him for his kindness and easily stepped from the reins and straps that once held her captive to the awkward creeking cart. Her movements were smooth...more feline than equidae.

Delighted at her new found freedom, she trotted over to Electrobolt, taking a turn right beside him, brushing along him a bit as she took off ahead of them again. "So, is anypony hungry? My treat," she offered only glancing back at the ones behind her for a moment, knowing that only few of them would want to follow her by the looks of their curiosity of other things around Ponyville. She smiled to herself. "I heard something about sweets?" She asked, taunting them to follow.

Speed sighed and started walking off towards where the group was. She was confused when she didn't see them there, and she nearly panicked. She felt like an idiot when she realized they had only moved a bit. Thinking about getting lost, where's that other pony that went in to the woods? Speed thought to herself as she walked over to the group.

"So this is Ponyville? This place is beautiful!" Arty said, glancing at the buildings and trees of the quiet town, he thought that Ponyville is a good place to grow up in because it seemed so peaceful, with many of it's inhabitants happy, and upon hearing Peach's invitation, he happily accepted "Okay sure, I'd love a meal," then his stomach groans, "Oh yeah, I haven't eaten yet" then she giggled, "Okay, anyone else?" She asked.

When Peach had brushed against him, Electrobolt began to blush, if only barely. He then thought, *Am I... Blushing? Wait, why am I blushing? I mean, I'm a human! Wait... I WAS a human... But still...* As soon as Peach had asked if anypony was hungry, he shook his head and began to respond, " Yeah, I---" when his stomach let out a noisy growl. Although it wasn't loud, to him it sounded like it could be heard from the moon. His face began to turn a deep shade of red out of embarrassment as he finally responded, "Yeah, I... Haven't eaten since I got up..." He then proceeded to grin sheepishly because of how embarrassed he was.

Artsy had long lost her way from the group, as she had this nasty habit to space out and a bad sense of direction. As they all ignored her doubts and the odd pony seemed... more anxious and timid, she had at this point sat there for a while lost in her thoughts, not paying attention to where she was going. The unicorn began to wander off in an opposite direction from the others, into the nearby underbrush of the dark forest rather than to this... Ponyville they were headed towards.

She was so consumed in her thoughts of why she was here, and that... she had actually been transformed into some sort of horse. No, she wasn't a horse! Still so stubborn in her disbelief, she wobbled off awkwardly, tripping up several times on her hoo- she meant legs! Legs! No hooves for a human! They may have all been horses, but she sure as hell wasn't!

By the time she started paying attention to her path, she noticed herself in an extremely unpleasant and dark place. The girl (not a pony! Still clearly NOT a pony) shuddered uneasily as she consciously pressed her ears to her head. "Where have I gotten off to...? What is this? This clearly isn't Ponyville... and... and... is that a light?"

From the distance, she could hear the a very faint but somewhat distinguishable sound of something crackling and could smell smoke. A fire? It probably was, but then the sound stopped abruptly. She could see random flashes of light every now and then from the bushes as well A beacon? Or a sign of trouble? Something about this place made her feel extremely uncomfortable... she couldn't put her finger on it. But then there was a voice, talking about something not being easy... maybe it was an actual human, like her?

Even though she hated confrontation and approaching people, she took a chance and stepped into the bushes, appearing on the other side with several leaves unconfrontably sticking out of her now unkempt mane. She wrinkled her nose slightly, and then saw that it was a horse from the group... he had gotten lost too? This one was silver. But she had never quite properly made his acquaintance.

"He... hello? Uh, you got lost too, yeah?" That was all she could say in a rather awkward fashion.

Lionheart was doubting his companions intelligence. "How can they be so easy going about this so accepting. Aren't they at least curious to learn what is going on around here I mean We are ponies for gods sake and they seem so literally ok with it. I am doubting it is a good idea going with them now." He though being kinda angry at the whole groups ignorance.

Having nothing better to do he looked around and noticed something interesting two ponies were missing and one of those was the only logical one. "It maybe wise of me to follow them instead....but how it is too late right now I have not trail to get to them." He though since he had already followed the others for a bit and left the place the firstly woke up. "Well I will figure that out later." He though with a shrug and took thee way back to the clearing.

Upon arriving there his fears were proven correct. All footprint had already disappeared. He looked and looked but he couldn't find anything until his horn suddenly lit up. "Huh?:" He shouted confused. He shook his head and just then before his eyes traits of hoofprints made out of greyish magic appeared in front of his eyes leading inside the forest. "Interesting...very interesting." He though aloud since he was alone and followed the trail.

The forest was pretty dark and even though the prints were made out of magic they were pretty hard to follow."Wait a minute. What if I am following a wrong persons trail ?" He suddenly though but quickly shrugged it of and remained confident to what he was doing.

He continued following the trail until a light infront of him disttraced hiim. "What the ?" He said and then he heard a voice. "Yes I was following a correct trail after all." He though and quitlly passed to the other side of the bushes that they were.

He was pleasntly surprised to see that it was indeed the two persons from the group."Hello people that aren't thinking of settling down in this world. You made yourselfs hard to follow but well I stood lucky. How are you this fine day ?To re-introduce myself. My name is well I don't remember but what this world wants me to believe is that it's Lionheart." He tone was kinda sarcastic in some points in his little speech and as he finished he simple waited for their answer.
