I'd probably poke something into the portal to see if it's safe on the other side, assuming I don't get sucked in just by contact. Maybe stick my head through if whatever I stuck in there came back fine. I would assume since lava or water isn't pouring out of it that the other side is either completely solid or enough space to not have something come through it immediately and probably go in just a little bit myself. Then I'd grab my purse and jump in. Cause it has my money in it. I'd be able to by souvenirs and bring it back to share. Or I'd grab a tepig and bring it back with me. Or unless it led to equestria. If you don't know what it is, poke it with a stick first ;-J Good points with being careful, though. I like the idea of putting a video camera on a stick in there @ proposed. But what if this is an unstable portal to Equestria which closes itself as soon as anything goes through it?
