sole shrugged "it's good to try new stuff, I'm proud of ya babe. But maybe we can find something else to do, some thing not so boring." He suggested, before nuzzling her affectionately and kissing her. "Actually... I've got nothing." He said sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head "how about you? Any ideas stony?" He asked.

 

(It's hard to think of something they can do that doesn't get perverted lol)

(I agree... Hopefully this wont last too long. I'm pretty much stalling at this point and I really don't know what to do. I should have thought this through better. If you don't want to reply until Mythos comes, that would be fine.)

 

Stoneheart leaned her head into his shoulder. "I suppose the first thing to do of the day is breakfast, right?"

"Ah, but you see I can't do that, whoever you may be," Mythos says smiling at the librarian Dusty Pages, who would never tell him not to worry about studying nor that he was never any good. She never told any foal this which told him yes this was not the mare he knew before continuing, "I don't know how your doing this but I want you to get out of my head so I can continue what I have started. Unless you want me to force you out." This last line was a threat, as he did not like having his mind, his head messes with. This was a very private place for him and there was many thoughts and memories he would not want any to have access to. He also considered his surrounding, trying to figure out how the one that had invaded his mind was doing this. It was not magic, especially not illusions, as far as he could tell. No, this was a different power but the question is what was it.

Dusty Pages smirked. "Very well. I knew that you would cause problems for me," she said in a different, softer voice. Her body became blurry like a smudged painting. The colors around her swirled together until her appearance changed to look like Femi. Her eyes shone through the rags that covered her face. "I see no reason to try to convince you further. You can see through my lies and for that, I am impressed. However, although your mind may be powerful enough to fight this, there is more than just your mind in this dream layered three. Your time is running short, your friends cannot see what you can. I am not the kind of overconfident fool that will linger to fight when I know there is an easier way to win. You will try to save those who came with you, and you will fail." After speaking, she faded away into the air like disbanding fog.

 

In the same manner, the library that surrounded Mythos disintegrated. It warped around like watercolors and faded away, replaced by something different.

 

Mythos was now standing in the cabin of a boat. Across from him he saw Crimson and Violet. Crimson had no memories of Mythos. To him, Mythos was a complete stranger who had no business being there.

 

"What is he doing here?" Violet asked Crimson.

Crimson glared warily at Mythos as he quickly drew his cutlass and pointed it at his throat, stepping in front of his sister protectively. "I don't know you! Who are you, and what are you doing on my ship? Start talking, before I start cutting..." he said threateningly. Crimson ignored the fact that his magic power was low, blaming it on an incident with the alcohol.

"You aren't going to listen to this guy are you, Crimson?" asked Violet. "This is complete nonsense! Everything here is real and you know it. This guy's just spreading lies! I'm much more interested in finding out how this guy got on our ship. I bet the answer has nothing to do with dreaming."

The stallion smiles at that, believing he had caught her and that it would be as obvious as the changing of her voice. Though honestly he was also surprised, and wondered if perhaps he was frustrating her so much that the one doing this was losing focus and says bring attention to this change, "Perhaps you can tell me if the mare next to you has a talent for altering her voice?"

Though honestly he was also surprised, and wondered if perhaps he was frustrating her so much that the one doing this was losing focus and says bring attention to this change, "Perhaps you can tell me if the mare next to you has a talent for altering her voice?"

"I'll let you in on three little details, buddy...one, Violet has a lot of talents, including producing a toxin that lulls stallions who don't share her blood, into a sense of security, so voice changing isn't so suspicious to me...second, mares tend to change the tones of their voices anyway, out of nervousness, and a stranger appearing in my home is a definite cause to be nervous...and finally three..." he suddenly turns to Violet and points the sword at her instead. "My sister never calls me by my name, she always calls me brother...and she wouldn't be so quick for me to cut someone up, she's way too timid and kind for that...so your definitely not my sister...who are you and where is she!" he growled angrily.

After this, only one layer of the psychic sleep will left before I will be forced to confront them. I was hoping to avoid fighting them, but I may have to. Femi thought.

 

Violet lifted a hoof up and touched the center of the blade. Applying very little strength, she effortlessly bent the steel blade backwards. She closed her eyes and when she opened them again, they were pitch black. "You have no power here." She stated.

 

The cabin and all of its contents spread out into the air like fog and disappeared, changing their environment completely. Violet was gone and Crimson was beginning to remember what had happened.

 

After quickly looking around them, the two could see that they were outside of a small wooden building with a well kept garden outside its entrance.

Crimson growled and looked at Helios with a very displeased expression. "When I get out of this dream, I'm gonna kick someone's ass..." he grumbled, looking around at their new surroundings before laying his eyes on the small wooden house nearby. "A cabin in the woods? Hmm...has a nice ring to it, but seems kinda boring...anyway, do you think Sole's in there?" he asked.

 

Stoneheart (Femi) already knew of the new arrivals. She also predicted that she had very little chance of maintaining control over Sole. If I can stall them for long enough, I may still be able to kill them without fighting. There time is running short, but I musn't make the same mistake as Katu. Confidence is for the weak.

The place of our thoughts and with such our emotions though that is considered to be where the heart is. It would seem she got into our minds, seeing our past and memories, before then recreating what she feels will most distract us."

 

To the one doing all this he says with a smile, a certain determination mixed with annoying confidence, "I do believe he have more control then you wish, as you are the intruder and thus weak enough to be overcome. What has already happened proves your not as good as you say." He would then consider the cabin, considering what may be in store for them inside.

Sole watched as the stranger entered the cabin and was ready to attack if necessary, but was taken aback as stone greeted him politely. "What are you... This guy just enters our house without knocking and you greet him cheerfully? You sure your okay?" He asked in confusion

"I thought you knew him." She said concerned. "If you don't know him, how did he get all the way out here? We're deep in the woods. Wait, you mean you don't know him!?" She turned to Mythos. "Why are you here and how did you find this place?" She asked. "I take back what I said, we aren't letting you in if we don't know you."

Sole was confused for a moment, but quickly shook it off and glared at the mysterious pony. "No, I don't know him. Or, at least I don't think so..." He said, getting even more confused. The pony' face did seem familiar, but he couldn't place a name and had no memory of meeting him.

We have met before Sole but because of the situation at hoof it is understandable that you don't remember us, your mind is being tampered with. Sole summoned two orbs of magic over his talons and got into a fighting position "mind running that by me again? Cuz honestly all I heard was a load of crap." He said in annoyance. He didn't know what to believe honestly, things all seemed so strange right now. And the current situation wasn't helping.

"I don't know what you think you're talking about," She finally said, "but I was having a pleasant evening with my husband and your interruption is not appreciated! Unless you're planning on making sense, I'm going to have to ask you to leave!"

She turned to Sole. "I don't know what she's talking about, but I do know that you trust me, don't you? Please do something about this guy. He's a complete lunatic!"

Sole didn't know what to think anymore, and now he was more confused then ever. "I... I don't..." He tried to say something, but couldn't string the words together as he tried to focus and remember. "Wait... I don't remember anything before coming into this cabin..." He thought, still skeptical on all of this. He turned to the newcomers and glared "if what your saying is true... Then prove it. Give me a good reason to Believe you." He said

"Consider what you know of the one you love, her actions and personality," Mythos advises looking the griffin in the eyes, standing and speaking in a relaxed way as to appear as nonthreatening and possible, working to sound reasonable and logical, "then consider how best to test her in such a way so you know whether or not it is her." 

 

The stallion shrugged, offering the mare a brief smile, before admittingly that, "I don't really know you well and though you should pay notice to the fact you don't remember anything before here in the cabin. Nor do I really know her, you're the only one that can say where in a pony such as she in character with herself." The stallion was also slowing ready for trouble and turned to the stallion he had already helped to give a look that suggested Mythos wished for some aid.

Stone heart sighed and turned her head. For a moment, she said nothing, then she turned back to Sole with coal black eyes and spoke with a different voice. "That's it. I give up," Femi said in a mellow tone. Her body transformed back into her original self. As she gave up on the illusion, Sole's memory began to return.

 

She held out a hoof to Sole's chest while he was off guard, and blew him back to the doorway where Mythos was standing with an invisible, psychic wave. She did this effortlessly.

 

"You're weak here, Sole. You're muscles are useless while you dream. You're only as strong as your mind." She taunted. She hadn't intended to fight them, but her original plan was ruined and she was forced to take a greater risk.

 

(Extremely rushed boss battle, GO! )

He whined in annoyance, before smiling "so I'm only as strong as my mind huh? Well, that sucks... I never was very smart. But that's when magic come in handy!" He said, before throwing a blast of chaos magic at her quickly
