"Why, yes, in fact, I did make them!" Ben beamed with pride, and then looked down at the orange liquid. He poured more liquid in and it turned purple. "Brilliant!" Ben repeated. He chewed into a muffin triumphantly. "You see, I've been finding this odd... "stuff"... in the air. Its something completely unique to Equestria.

Lydia smiles, "I... That stuff looks interesting... Mind if I try it? I know we have a terrible track record with me and experimental substances, but that stuff is calling to me... It's like whatever that stuff is, it wants me to drink it... Do you have any idea what it's made of?"

Lydia smiles and grabs a muffin, then bites into it, "Wow! This is really good! Did you make these?" She looks intently at the substance as she reads, "May I ask what it is?"

 

Lydia smiles, "Thanks for the offer, I'll have to hit you up for that at some point... And yeah, I love that I finally get to have some books again..."

She giggles "well. I hope you do you need to relax." She said with a smile "thanks. Well.im going to go do something protective. Just call me if you need me okay?" She said to lydia and ben as she leaves the two alone snd goes to play a game on her gameboy color hank got her

"Umm... well... magic...? I've never seen anything like it! It has impossibly complicated properties, and it doesn't act like anything I've ever found here. I have managed to contain some of it, I think. I tried freezing it to see if the form would change, but it did nothing. I combined it with some liquid, and this is what I got... but I reaaallly don't think drinking this is a such a good a idea..."

"Ummm... sure, I guess. I mean, it didn't respond to my electricity, but you may have a different affect." He took the beaker filled with the orange liquid and put it into a machine. After ten seconds, a little beeping noise played, and Ben took out a sealed flask with a plasma colored gas floating around inside it.

Lydia takes the flask in her hand and lets it swirl around for a bit before closing her fist hard against the flask and sending thousands of volts through it. After a few seconds she stops electrocuting it and watches, waiting to see what will happen to the flask.

 

After a few minutes of waiting Lydia turns, disappointed, "I guess nothing happens..." As she starts to walk away, the flask begins to shake and boil before exploding violently, leaving a hole in the table and glass shrapnel around the lab.

Lydia takes the flask in her hand and lets it swirl around for a bit before closing her fist hard against the flask and sending thousands of volts through it. After a few seconds she stops electrocuting it and watches, waiting to see what will happen to the flask.

 

After a few minutes of waiting Lydia turns, disappointed, "I guess nothing happens..." As she starts to walk away, the flask begins to shake and boil before exploding violently, leaving a hole in the table and glass shrapnel around the lab.

Ben jumped back, protecting himself from the glass. "Oooooookay, then... lets NEVER do that again." He opened his eyes and looked at Lydia. "Are you okay? Did something get you?" He then looked down at the table. "Ohhh, that's not good, either. This magic is some POWERFUL stuff!"

Lydia shakes her head, lowering her arm from protecting her face, "Agreed, let's not do that anymore... I'm fine, but that is some wicked stuff right there... Um... You can get more can't you? As terrifying as that was, I think that we should do some other experiments to it..."

"Oh, yes, I have plenty! Luckily, testing is my middle name." He brought her another flask filled with the gas. "So, what next? Intense heat? Acid? Freezing?" He said, swishing another flask with liquid around. "Man, this stuff is SO WEIRD! It practically kills logic!"

Lydia shrugs, "Well... Lightning made it explode, so maybe exposing it to heat and shock will generate electricity? I say it's worth a try..." She says with a shrug as she looks at the strange liquid in awe, wondering about what it can be used for to improve everyone's lives.

Rain clocked the gun. "Can we get this over and done with" said rain referring to hank. "Just get her out so I can handle the rest of the mission" she explained.

 

Equestria was become a battlefield for the pace soldiers right after the fight with Blake. They searched for other survivors to kill them off. Mainly the ponies and the traitors.
