{This started as a free-write, so some parts might be worded weirdly and whatnot.}

 

 "This is just what I bucking need!", Cyber Dash said sarcastically under her breath. She leaned herself against a concrete wall of the front end of an alley peering around the corner watching that mysterious stallion walk off into the busy street. The falling rain lit up by the surrounding neon and fluorescent lights rendered her unable to see more than about 20 yards in front of her. She kicked a puddle in frustration, "If I capture him now, the order-ponies will be all over my flank", she thought to herself. "But I gotta get him by tonight. I wouldn't want to be un-loyal to Metalestia and who knows what trouble I'd get in for disobeying her orders."

She made her way out of the alley on to the crowded sidewalk of ponies going every which way. She trotted along the sidewalk with no destination in mind. "Maybe I could snipe him dead", she mumbled glancing up at one of many ominous glass skyscrapers. "Oomph! Hey watch where your go-", she had quickly quieted herself.

"Are you... Cyber Dash?", the order-pony asked.

"Y-yeah, wh-what's it to ya'?", she replied trying her best not to sound nervous.

"We have an order from princess Sweetie Bot to confine you."

Cyber's eyes widen in fear and the order-pony unsheathed a shock pistol from his belt.

"What for?"

"That is confidential... Now come with me, we don't want any trouble now, do we?".

This sounds interesting. Is Metalestia a different version of Princess Celestia? Or is she a different princess completely?

This should kinda explain it.

 

"Buck, I knew she wouldn't be able to withstand that plasma flux that Metalestia put around that castle...", Twilight said under her breath.

"What are you talking about?", she asked, leaning in close.

"I'll tell you about that later, but for now I have more important matters to tell you about".

"B-but, Metalestia, who, who is that?", she asked in a puzzled tone.

"Metalestia is a robot who was created by the evil mastermind, Micro Chip, while you were in that coma for a year, Micro Chip sent his robot army to Canterlot and overthrew Celestia and Luna."

"What!", Cyber shouted in surprise.

"And rumor has it that he is creating another bot to take Luna's place and there is also a princess.. bot, if you will."

Cyber Dash couldn't believe that all this happened in the course of one year, the two most powerful ponies in all of Equestria thrown over by robots.

Oh she's a robot. This is how far into the future? Like how far has the technology in their world progressed? Sorry if I'm dropping questions on you even though you just came up with it. Edited February 22, 2014 by MLP Moth

Well I'm just gonna make this up as we speak... A time spell of sorts that Twilight uses to send them a few days in the future sends them more than a 1000 years instead and I guess you can say they've been in the future for about 2 years now for a reason unknown at the moment XD I know, that probably sounds confusing.

Well I'm just gonna make this up as we speak... A time spell of sorts that Twilight uses to send them a few days in the future sends them more than a 1000 years instead and I guess you can say they've been in the future for about 2 years now for a reason unknown at the moment XD I know, that probably sounds confusing.

Sounds cool but may I throw in an idea. You should just leave the time period as it is in the show so the mane six are still alive(if you plan on adding them) and just make Equestria go through this whole era of advancing technology due to the discovery of electricity by Micro Chip. Just an idea you don't have to use it.

That's a smart idea. It'll give a nice story line of events that took place over the past 5000 years.

I was thinking that Alicorn Twilight should be thrown in there also. That is, if you change from 5,000 to 2,000. That's just me.

 

Throwing in Alicorn Twilight will give a nice touch toward Cyber Dash who has the same memory as mortal Rainbow Dash. When she died from an accident, her brain was put into a robot body exactly identical to her old body. Same color, mane style(and colors) but the difference is that her eyes are like Sweetie Bot's eyes, has no organs except her Brain which was altered to survive on it's own without blood.. Or, you can do this @Astral Blitzen

 

Her brains memory is taken from and downloaded onto a brainchip which is used as the internal memory of Cyber Dash. She remembers everything. When she was born, all of her friends, event's in her life(Everything important. Even her friends funerals(except twilight), her sister scootaloo. Everything, even the day she died and the day she was placed into a robot body. Sounds like a good idea right?

 

 

I hope you take these ideas into consideration. It'll make your story for attracting cause of how many things can go on with this time change.
