For Mareep's nickname, how about Sparky, Jolt, Wires, or even Surge? I'm sorry. I'm not an expert in thinking of names. But I hope I helped you in any way.

When I was 5 the very first Pokemon I caught (and actually kept and used) was a Mareep. I remember, I named him Sparky.

 

Anyways, It's awesome that you're doing a let's play of this game. I just so happen to be playing Black 2 at the moment as well.

Still can't solve the mic issues. This one didn't come out well and it pretty much went through hell to even be uploaded. The next episode will definitely be an improvement the Commentary is already better
