searching Anything Goes Martial Arts!

If you realize where the title comes from, you get a cookie! You also know what kind of roleplay this will be. That's right: I want to do a Ranma 1/2 roleplay. Yes, anyone remember that old gem by Rumiko Takahashi? I've been going on a nostalgia trip ever since I picked up some of the manga the other day, and now I'd like a roleplay if anyone else is interested!
 
For those that don't know what Ranma 1/2 is, it's an anime. The plot isn't too complex, since it's more or less based around zany antics, but here's the basic rundown:
 
While training in China one day, Ranma Saotome (sow-toe-may is how it's pronounced) and his father Genma Saotome had an unfortunate accident. Each fell into one of the many cursed springs of Jusenkyo! Now when they're splashed with cold water, Ranma and Genma turn into a girl and a panda, respectively! And only hot water can return them to their original form. (Not to mention, that there are countless springs, and several other unfortunate souls that have fallen into one of them!)
 
Now, by an arrangement between men, it has been decided that Ranma shall be engaged to Akane Tendo, the youngest daughter of Soun Tendo and one of the heirs to the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts. Only thing is, Ranma and Akane don't get along so well, and things start getting even more complicated as would-be suitors begin flocking to both Ranma (and I mean his female counterpart as well!) and Akane, vying for their affection.
 
And that's all there really is to the basic plot. If you'd like any more information, or have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! But first, let's go over a few rules:
 
1. No god-modding, power-playing, etc. You know, your basic roleplaying rules.
2. Try to maintain proper grammar and spelling. I simply can't stand 'txt tlk,' and I will have to ask you to leave the roleplay if you consistently use as such.
3. I like detail! Try to go beyond the minimum of 200 characters, if you can, and give me plenty to read~!
4. I would say no overpowered characters here, but this is Anything Goes! The characters in the series as is are plenty powerful! Borderline superhuman strength, ninja-like agility - the list goes on! Just, uh, don't go too overboard now.
5. As stated before and in the title, Anything Goes Martial Arts! And we mean exactly that. Don't be afraid to get into some wacky situations, whatever your mind can conjure up!
6. OCs will be allowed, see below.
7. If you have read up to this point, mention the name of the anime this roleplay is based on; you can also say whether you've seen it or not, if you'd like.

Deep down, he cares for Akane, but his pride and ego won't let him admit it - although he does protect her should she be in trouble.

Basic Profile: Toshiko has a somewhat lame leg due to something that happened when she was younger. She keeps the scars on said leg wrapped up in bandages, and she walks with the assistance of a walking stick (she'll make sure to correct you if you call it a cane!) She has since learned to cope with her bad leg, and is even able to fight capably. She hates asking for help, and is stubborn enough to refuse help even if she were to need it.

Basic Profile: A young man with a bit of an irritable attitude sometimes, Kazuki is similar to the Saotome family in the way that he'd been traveling a good portion of his life for the sake of the art.... that and he didn't like his father from back home. Generally speaking he's rather kind, awkward, keen when needed but when he's clumsy he's a disaster and he's pretty helpful in the way that he enjoys helping others a lot and being responsible. I Have never done a role play before but im very familiar whit ranma 1/2, im a big fan actually xD

anyways my oc is an alicorn but since the role is a none fighter i don't think it matters but rather that of wisdom which if i can i whana play kasumi tendo  xD

Unaware of DR. Tofu love towards her she sees him as a friend/ family doctor, and ill tho she doesnt fight she still has the Tendo battle aura when you make her angry or hurt her family, but so far nothing beyond a slap has been shown of her.

xD cool anyways ill await when you launch the roleplay, 1 question are we gonna make the story or we gonna do cannon or? again this is my first time on a role play so kinda figure stuff out since everyone does it differently.

The roleplay will be set in the canon universe, yes. But the story, will be anything we make it!

 

Though an organized story helps coordinate things, even the episodes themselves just tend to be chaos. So, I figured why not go for the same kind of thing? Just, wing it and see what happens~

Haha ^^; WELL, I actually absolutely LOVE Ranma 1/2 with a passion, it being in my top 5 anime's ever an' all. I love the character, I love the world, I love the goofiness, I also love the fact that I've wasted mindless amounts of hours watching the WHOLE show like 3 times fully lol. Needless to say I'm a bit fan.... sooooooo if you're still up for this RP I got an OC character sheet to post :3

As a male he stands at a average 6ft1", he has medium length messy purple hair (purple eyes), and a bit of a dark skin tone for someone from Japan. He's rather well built, being a martial artist and all, but most of his skill comes from his strength and stability, able to give hits as hard as he can take them. (which is a lot) Though he's rather slow compared to most, thankfully his appearances don't give off a "tank" like feel as he's not really bulky at all.
As a female she stands at 5ft5", long purple hair (purple eyes too), same skin tone, a D cup breast size, and a rather small/petite stature and form. As a girl she's a LOT better at being quicker on her feet but still isn't the absolute faster (like 3 notches of speed under Ranma, just about average for a speedy martial artist). So she loses a chunk of strength for speed as a girl.

Basic Profile: Takumi is a rather nice guy. He's very friendly, but not necessarily outgoing. He tries to be kindhearted, but is able to get fed up under enough pressure. He's lived in the town of Furinkan for most of his life. He's the oldest of 7, and all of them are martial artists as well, so he's gotten used to dodging attacks at a whim. However, he also tends to over-focus on what he's doing, so when that happens, he can, for instance, walk right into a wall before he even notices it's there.

 

As a boy, he's about 5'8" in height. He's not very muscular, but is actually decently strong (for a martial artist). He has a light skin tone, medium-length brown hair with some hints of red which he brushes to the side, and dark greenish brown eyes. In combat, he can deliver some powerful blows if he focuses on hitting hard, but he can't take too many hits. His balance and speed, however, are extremely good, even for martial artists' standards (so maybe somewhere in between male and female Ranma's speed).

 

As a girl, her height is a much shorter 5'3", her hair also becomes much more red in color and much longer as well. She also has a D cup size breast. Naturally, her strength decreases and her speed rises (a few "levels" faster than female Ranma's, actually o-o).

If no one wants to I could give a shot RP'ing Ranma, I dunno how good I'd be at RP'ing him but from the few (many) experiences that I've RP'd Kazuki, I realized that he's kinda like Ranma except a bit smarter and more timid.... sooo just 2 things to switch out lol. That's worst case scenario though, I don't mind if anyone else wants to RP Ranma ^-^

 

Oh, I also had another idea for my Kazuki character, I'm a bit of a TG fan (dunno what it is? Rule 63 will reference you to it a bit lol, or DeviantART xD) so I got a big complex lore thing I have sometimes with my Kazuki character, to be fair I've mixed it with the jusenkyo curse... if you don't mind me adding an extra curse-style thing, I can PM you the description of it ^-^ if you don't want any TG things going on in the story though I'm 100% okay with that (though mind you, unlike some, I don't think of TG in an... adult way o-o;..).
