I was thinking it may be best to go with my oc pony Photo Journal.  Though he's an alicorn he has no idea how to do  unicorn magic or to fly since he was originally an earth pony & he hides his wings & horn.  It's based on a line that Rarity says in the season 3 episode, Magical Mystery cure I think it's called.  Where she says she didn't know becoming an alicorn could just happen.  Since I think doing my EQE younger teenish oc dragon may be to powerful, given a dragon's abilities, though his size is the same as an average mare.

Think I'll go with a Green Lantern. 

 

Makes me think maybe I should make another sort of oc, a gryphon maybe since I'm terrible with coming up with a pony style name or cutie mark.  Though I'm happy with my 3 characters so far.  The 2 listed above and Princess Cadance.

Okay. So we have a human, a dragon, a gryphon, and an alicorn. Nice to see the diversity here. Okay then, how do you guys want to open the RP. I know it wont be post attack. You can either be in a corps. or become inducted into one. Just for reference, Equestria is in uncharted space, meaning other lanterns cannot come to help unless he comes by(meaning if the story demands it).

Not sure what color Rakon should be, if he is a lantern at all. 

 

Not sure if My character, or characters should be inducted or start off as a member.  I guess if they or he is already a member they would not have to be trained in how to use the ring.

I think zain should start out as a red lantern, because it says in the wiki that it takes skill and training to make sure the red ring doesn't make you lose your mind with rage.

Okay then. But you can have a second character if you want. though, they don't have to be a lantern.

That makes sense.  I guess the easiest would be if a character is already a lantern.  Since I think training would take weeks or more and technically you'd be out of the rp during that time, unless there was a time jump. 

 

Since having 2 characters with rings may be to powerful? 

 

I could do like I recall happened in a silver or bronze age story.  As I recall Hal had finished or was finishing with a shower, and either his ring or JLA com went off, I forgot which, it startled him and made hit his head and knock his head out and his ring went to the backup.  I don't recall if it was Guy Gardner (who was a nice guy before he went into a coma)  or John Stewart (who the guardians choose as a backup after Gardner was in a coma).  So the other character could be a backup.

The point system is still in play. Unless someone has a better idea. I use it to keep us from getting over powered.

if Photo Journal i could say he already has had training. 

 

if Rakon I could say perhaps his mother is a member, but is busy off world, and she has trained him and he has a spare ring his mother made for emergencies.  Possible since I recall in a pre crises GL story where Hal had his ring make a duplicate that he gave to Green Arrow in case of emergencies, though he didn't train him.  The guardians would know of this and may regard Rakon as a backup, emergencies type.  Though a young teenish dragon (and the size of a mare) he may be 50, 80 or more years old since we don't know how old a mature dragon is. I'd guess older then a young adult pony.

Relatives as members work. There was even a family... until Kryb happened. But it can work. Rings can make duplicates that can be given to other people. But usually when a lantern dies, the ring seeks out a new suitor in the sector fit to wield it.

True, though his mother may be busy off planet, and his ring duplicate may not be meant for everyday use, just emergencies.  Unless e Equistria sector could have more then 1 full time lantern, instead of 1 full time and 1 or more backups.

We can cross that bridge when we get to it. Okay, besides manhunters, what other enemies shall we fight. I got Mongul, black lanterns, and Darkseid. You wanna give another character.

I guess Dasaad, Granny Goodness and the Female furies count as underlings of Darkseid's.

I think we should fight either the manhunters or the black lanterns first, since their huge threats and come in such huge numbers.
