It was a wonderful day. The birds singing. A perfect breeze. Way better than being in the office! Flint thought happily as she skipped lightly on the path that would lead them to there camp site. Then a tired and annoyed voice found her ear . ''Are we there yet!'' her daughter, flutter dust sqeaked tired of walking.

She smiled turning her head to the filly. ''Sweetie we will be there soon , you just have to be patient'' she said in a motherly voice. The filly sqeaked back. ''fine...'' she said agreeing to her mother and kept on walking.

Rye was walking along the dirt path munching on small bits of trail mix he had packed before hand for the trip. He was dissapointed that his friend Blaze couldn't have joined him, but Rye had his other friends here to help clear him of his boredom. Rye wouldn't let it get him down. Rye was going to make sure he was going to have a good time out in the wilderness wether he was alone or not.

My one week off for one month and I'm spending it camping well I may as well try attempt to have fun oh wow well no fun for me the trail gets really rocky here till the campsite it looks. Ug why did I choose this way up to the camp site may as well fly to the campsite now.

She whistled as she could see a clearing of trees in the distance. She knew this very well as the camp site they were heading to. She smiled and said ''We are here!'' in a happy tone to her foal.

 

Flutter squealed happily and started running up the hill. ''I can't Wait!'' she yelled running into the clearing. It was her FIRST camp trip and she had been very exited from the stories her mother had told her about this place.

 

''Hey wait for me!'' Flint said running after her fast as she could with a huge bag on her back catching up to her.

Lost Knowledge was in a particularly good mood as he hiked up the trail to the campsite. A little bit of time out in the wilderness to take his mind off of things for a while was just what he needed. Plus, he was making better time than he expected and had almost arrived already, which was just as well because he wasn't really cut out for long hikes. So it was with a smile on his face and a generally good mood that he arrived at the campsite a few minutes later.

Looking around, he noticed that he wasn't the only one there. He approached the mare and her daughter with a friendly smile. "So, I take it we're going to be camping here together? Well, I'm looking forward to it. By the way, my name is Lost Knowledge, although most people just call me Lost."

When lightning twirl arived at the camp site there was 3 people there fuck and I thought it was going to be peace and quite annnd one of them is a child and the mother looked quite pissed off that I swore near her child after a quick idea on how to get things off topic he introduced him self. Hi I'm lightning twirl and who are you also are you two married or just friend camping?

''No no no! you got the wrong idea hes just a camper. Anyway it looks like all the other camp sites are full of ponies as i guess we will have to camp together. Btw I'm Flint and this is my daughter dust'' she says explaining and interducing herself and her daughter. ''The more the marryer i guess'' she says with a smile taking off her bag sitting it by a log.

Ok well I'm gonna set up my tent on the west side of this camp site so I will be out of the way also please don't touch the sword I brought it is for defence proposes only like a bear attacks you or something it IS NOT a toy also I have not finished paying off the loan I used to buy it yet I found the standard issue sword they give you is not that good so I bought my own.

Lost nodded. "Speaking of which, the same goes for my knife. Well, the first part anyway. I didn't take out a loan for it anything. But don't touch it unless I give you permission. It's very sharp. Oh, and there's also the axe I brought to chop wood. Same rules apply there, but it's not as sharp. Anyway, not to repeat myself, but I look forward to camping with you guys. You seem like a nice group."

Rye walked into the small group, "Hello" Rye looked around a bit and then looked back at the small group. "Glad I won't be the only one here", Rye used his magic to lift his backpack to a small corner that didn't look as if was being used. "My names Rye, I'm from Ponyville, born and raised, I look forward to spending some time here, I've been working hard at this apple farm recently, this place hopefully will get me relaxed"

"Gosh did you know your talking to a pony of the law? You guys better not be axe murders as it looks'' she says smiling and chuckling a little. She unziped her bag and started putting up her tent. ''Im just kidding, Nice to meet you all''

Rye nodded and smiled and moved over to his small corner of the camp. It was damp, but Rye could easily perform some type of humidify spell to heat up the ground and around it as well. Rye looked around and then started unpacking his stuff. Rye then noticed the small handgun he had packed away. Rye doubted he would need it, but just like the other guy said 'In case of a bear attack'.

She was really loving this trip so far as she knew it was gonna be the best! ''Heres a flower! i hope you like it!'' she said giving the pony a flower as a gift of friendship and kindness. Anyway she loved daziys. So why not spread the love of this awesome flower?

Rye started to conjure up a small spell and then casted it on the flower making small flowers grow around it. "There, now it's beauty will grow" Rye smiled at the filly and continued to unpack his stuff.

''Wow!'' she squeaked smiling at the spell. ''Your amazing mr! i wish i could do that'' she said smiling. Then heard her mother call her. ''Bye i have to go help my mom!'' she says running off to her mom and helping her set up the tent.

 

''There we go!'' flint says finishing the tent of the fillies help. They together start setting up with there sleeping bags and other things inside the tent so they wouldn't have to do it later.

"Looks good enough to me" Rye mumbled to himself while placing the last pile down in the dirt and setting up the tent. Rye smirked and went inside the tent and unfolded the sleeping bag. It wasn't too late at the moment, but it was better to have things ready for sleep rather then do it when your tired. At least that's what Ryes view was on stuff like that.

They finish and get outside the tent. ''Wow its turning night already!'' flint says seeing the sun is in the middle of setting. She guessed it was 7 something. ''Wow the sky looks like a tomateo!'' Dust says about the sky setting. ''I guess it does!'' flint says thinking about making a fire. ''Anypony planing about making a fire tonight?'' she asks the near by ponies. Dust thinks about mashmellows and says ''I hope we do Can we please! it will be fun!'' she says to her mom begging.

Rye backed out of his tent to hear the little filly asking about a fire. Rye walked over to a small circle and began levitating rocks and logs to form a small campfire. "Well I don't haves lighter and I'm not one for fire magic" Rye looked around slowly to see of there was something that could be used to spark a flame.

After putting everything in his tent he turned to rye and said "I think I have some matches in my backpack we can use that to start it hopefully lost can find some wood I also have chocolate if anyone has ghram crackers we can make some smores".

(For anyone who has never had smores they are as follows ghram cracker roasted marshmallow chocolate ghram cracker and they taste amazing)

Lost overheard Lightning Twirl say something about finding wood. "Right, no problem. Just use fallen branches and stuff for now. I'll come back with proper logs in a little bit." With that, he levitated the axe out of his bag with his magic, and headed off into the forest, turning back and smiling at the excited young filly before he left. He'd always liked kids.

Candy Pastel started to set up her tent. She needed to take a vacation from working at her shop so much. Candy never been camping before so she gave it a try. She looked back to the other ponies wondering what they were doing.

''Please please please! with suger on top! i wont cause trouble!'' she says giving her cutiest face evar. ''Oh fine go ahead, Tell him i sent ya'' she says chuckling giving up to her adorable foal. She was worried tho but that pony seemed nice anuff.

Dust quickly runs off to Lost and squeaks out ''My mom told me i could go with you!i hope you don't mind if i tag along?'' she says nicely and exictedly over exploring the woods. She hoped this pony would be nice about it .
