He finally decided to drink one glass of wine, it didn't seem like he was in any immediate danger here being with all his friends. He did like the taste, but he shouldn't drink his glass empty too fast.

 

And so he enjoyed his wine talking a bit with an intoxicated Volt and with Polaris.

Seth turned to  see Bliss walking up to him as he began to sip on some non-alcoholic sider. Hearing what she said, it brought up memories of the nights back in the cabin. He haddn't seen the pony since the events. Considering all that happened, he was looking rather well.

 

 

As Bliss approched, Seth thought of what to say, only  to realise that he had nothing. The best he gave the mare was a quick smile. After everything that has happened, he just hoped the others mearly forgot about the incident. He had done sutch horid things to each of them, including torturing Volt... and killing a pony. He had thought over these thoughts before, but being with the ponies, it was hard not to feel hated.

I hope your gryphon escort were kind bringing you all this way? I know your busy with your diplomatic adventures, I hear enough about it on my own travels that I think you travel more often then me! If all else your teaching me to be more thankful that my work isn't as tedious *squee* 

 

*She levitated a sweet apple cider, freshly made from the gryphon apple farms along with a pear cider to go for Skylar*

 

*Sips*  Was meaning to ask you Seth...it being so long and...well meaning for some advice in handling all this...responsibility... What's it like to come to places like this?  *she gestured her hoof around the room, the guards, even Empress Nortica as she chatted with other gryphons and ponies who came to celebrate* To meet royals all the time...gather and mingle...and then to have important meetings about the lands and its peoples future...? Please tell me you get as nervous as I am!

Seth gave a slight smile at Bliss's kind words. He liked being with other ponies again, all be it still aggravating his sense of paranoia. "Bliss, you are a great friend and an honored princess. I would travel half way across the world to see your coronation. About my work as a diplomat... that life has sort of subsided." The wolf said, looking away from the mare. "If you know of my works, then you know of the bombing. That event has had a bit of an after effect that still is present. It's not exactly present, but the Wolven Empire is shifting in their peace status due to the attack. However, I have left the talks all together. With my appearance..." Seth gestured to his left forearm and eye. "Not many ponies consider me worthy of returning to the talks. I really don't blame them. After facing such an event, you grow paranoid of your surroundings." Seth said. He hadn't told her everything, but it was enough for now. He picked up the glass and took another sip.

 

"If I can give you any advice for work in the field of diplomatics, it's this. Be yourself. Yes, it may seem a bit overdone, but trust me on this. Also, my number one rule for dealing with a foreign nation: Don't aggravate the locals on day one. Let's just say... I broke that rule when I first landed in Equestria." Seth sighed with a hint of a smile, remembering the early days of his career as a peace keeper.

If I can't prevent my own friends, like you, from getting hurt...then what are my odds against a bigger force when...or should it ever come for me? I just...feel like I could have done something for you to prevent it...

So are you finding this banquet to your taste, miss Blissy? I'm rather finding this occasion to be quite mighty I must say! Food is great and the wine here in the gryphon lands is just exquisite.

Seth took a slight laugh at his description of himself, knowing all too well it was true. He looked to see the fang impression from @Doc. Volt. With a slight smile, he called to him, "Hey Volty, if you want some real ones, it's just one bite away." Seth joked, giving a slight playful growl.

Though honestly I can't see how it can top this day already...to be honest I'm done with surprises.  *Just when she said it, she saw the Empress of the Gryphon Empire starting her approach on her and her group of friends, smiling to them eagerly with a gentle glimmer in her predator eyes*

 

 Oh dear... Volt suck up the behavior um...  *she attempted to    fix her mane that got messy in some ares* Gods...as far as the Empress is concerned I'm just as equal as she is... but I'm always getting anxious when she's around. *She trotted up to meet Nortica and bowed  hummbly*   Your highness...thank you for everything you and your subjects have done on this day-

 

*She smiled at the alicorn and placed a talon on her shoulder, encouraging her to rise*  Now Princess Lightning Bliss, you are a royal now, and you and your friends, are our guests...if anyone should be bowing, it is I    *she lowered her head respectly*   Come, introduce me to your friends. I'd like to aquaint myself with the nobles that accompany a fine mare as yourself.

 

*She blushed bright red that you couldn't tell she was a white mare anymore*   Of course Empress.

I also got a letter from the captain Taylon of the Iron Claws not too long ago, saying that you have taken the initiative of starting a project to further helping the other loyalist tribes of the north to be better integrated in to the prosperous gryphon empire, by allocating more resources to improve both the trading routes between the north and gryphon lands, helping tribal blacksmiths to manufacture better weapons and armor to defend themselves from the rival tribes who are against the empire, and to elevate the living conditions to imperial standards by improving the architecture of already existing buildings to withstand the cold winters better.

 

*He nodded to the empress Nortica deeply, before looking at her again*

 

I am truly thankful for that, you highness. It is assuring to know that my people will someday have a better and peaceful future, where they would not have to constantly wage war against each other over a tiny spot of land, food and other resources, but instead becoming a unified nation under a single banner with a dream to be able to be as great and influential as every other major nation out there and hope to make friends with them.

 This is Doctor Volt, he works for the Ponyville Dam areas, he's quite gifted with tools, and electricity, he's quite the party pony as well I noticed,  *blushing as she continued,* this is his friend NightStrike, gifted unicorn in defensive arts, we've only heard of each other myself after Volt mentioned him, but I'm so happy to have got to know him in person. And here *she pointed to Seth* Is our good friend Seth of the Wolf Empire, former diplomat. He's taught me alot of what it means to be brave and take on the d ay when it comes to politics and royal society. These are my friends Emperss Nortica, and I'm so happy you agreed to invite them all to be with me. I couldn't be here myself without them.

 

 A pleasure to meet you all   *she lowered her head in respect*  I've heard a great deal in the short time before you came here. Lightning Bliss looks upon you all with high regard, truely you all must be the best of friends. Which is why I came here to speak with you all.

*Lightning Bliss looked over along with who else had followed and stared in shock at what she saw. There sitting strong and graceful on the water, next to a heavily decorated board walk, was an enourmous yacht, dressed in gryphon decor. It was golden aligned with all the requirements of comfort and luxury. She could even see a large hot tub at the bottom. It had to be at least three to four levels up. She was tongue tied at the scene of it.*

*His eyes open wide as he peers at the huge yacht covered in all of it's finery with every comfort a pony, or gryphon could possibly wish for, he turns to notice blissy looking a little overwhelmed her and presses his side against hers gently and reassuringly, whispering in her ear* See, being a princess does have it's benefits after all  *Gently rubs his cheek against hers as he keeps staring out, answering the empress in a slightly distracted tone*  Yeah, the Lightning taming is going pretty well *he swishes his mane a little and looks a bit smug* To be honest I've always been quite natural at it      As for work related things I don't do any work for the weather team anymore, at the moment me and Callette are still settling down trying to work out what to do next  *Flips open his pendant and smiles down at the picture*  Shame she couldn't make this trip, her job requires her to travel quite alot, besides it's good for me to get out and about once in a while

*He joined in with Blissy and Skylar to look out of the large window out to the royal harbor in the distance, and could see with his eyes one of the most finely made yacht ever known to pony kind, which would even make the equestria's own princess Celestia to turn green from envy. He turned towards both his friends and grinned excitedly, before looking at the empress Nortica again who walked behind them to admire the ship docked at the harbor too*

 

That's a mighty fine ship, your highness! I can only imagine how many hours and artisans it took to create such a magnificent sea vessel worthy of an empress herself. I even wager that none of the royalties in the equestria would have anything like that in their docks!

Seth gave a bow to the gryphon, only raising his head when his name was mentioned. He fallowed the others to the window to see the harbor front. In the middle of the bay, a magnificent ship could be seen. Since his fear of flight was relevant, Seth always tried to stay on land or water. He had traveled on many boats before, but nothing as glorious as what was in front of him. After a second, he spoke.

 

"You mentioned we were going on a vacation, Bliss. You didn't say we were going to be gifted like royalty." He said, scanning over the haul of the ship. With his bionic implant, he was able to catch great detail of the ship. With every look over, he couldn't fine a single flaw with its design.

I'm so glad you all approve. She was just realsed from the boating garages of our finest crafts gryphons, engeeniers, artists and scientists. She's a magically propelled ship, designed on hosts' command to take you anywhere she can go sea worthy. She goes at over 70knots of speed when able, and is fully equipped with all the necciesties of food, and drink galore. She also can fully accmodate over 10 passengers with their own luxourious suite. When I designed her I wanted to be able to travel with my own family or diplomates in the best comfort I could imagine, but I thought "what a better way to test her poltential, then to have Princess Lightning Bliss and her comrades have the honor of testing it first." It's my gift to you all when ever you are ready to depart for Equestria. This is indeed the vacation you might have heard about, a cruise back t your home lands.

 

*Blissy was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. She had never been on a lage yacht before. She has been on boats her father Fire Strenth used to own when she was a filly, but never a yacht, let alone a royal, never before been used yacht. She was overwhelmed with excitment that her mouth stayed open, trying to come out with words to express her gratitude...but couldn't think of any to match her feelings*

 

*She grinned at all their shocked faces* I'll let you all take it all in. Please let me know when you're ready to depart after you've enjoyed the party of course. Once you are all ready, I'll be happy to give you a tour of your weekly home away from home... while it travels to your home! *She giggled with a chirp* Your belongings are already stashed in your rooms that I've talon picked out for you all based on what Blissy described to me about your personalities.

 

You've...you have...customized our rooms too??? *She blinked in surprise*

 

Did I mention this was a magical yacht? Must have slipped my mind *she chriped again* With help of Equestria's finest unicorn wizards and witches, this yacht is able to shift its room designs to fit the personality of those who occupy them. Not only that but as I mentioned before, she is magically enchanted to move freely at the command of the one who hosts. Since I figured you all would like to hand back to the Equestrian harbors, I have her magically ready in regards to her destination.

Volt looked at the ship, his eyes turning bigger and bigger, his jaw litterally dropped, his tail wagging like a dog, and his cutie mark almost blinking

"this.. this is not engineering... this is art.. pure awesome floating art!"

 

"i.. i didn't know that Gryphon's engineerng was so advanced.. yeah they still have to understand well the control of the weather and the use of lighting and electricty.. but... oh Luna.. that is.. that is.. i am simply speechless! and i don't say that to everysingle piece of tecnology i see every day!"

 

he turned to Bliss and he whispered to her

 

"Bli... Princess... are you really sure you want me in this trip? i mean.. i am not royal at all.. i am just an engineer.. i.. should not even be speaking with you.. and that ship is made for an emperess or a princess.. not certainly for a rough mannered pegasus like me!.. i .. i can't even speak properly or fancy to the emperess and i gotta admit, now that the alchool is going away, that i am a bit ashamed of being here.. i mean.. i don't belong here! The emeperess is probably hating me for my manners and i don't want her to have any problems at all for a worthless pony like me!... i.. shouldn' have come here.. i am probably I'm embarrassing in front of the emperess... sorry.. i mean.. i am so bucking happy to see you again an all of my friends.. but... i don't deserve this at all.. there are toons of better pony in Equestria that are not lucky as me .. sigh.. anyway... that yacht is awesome... really... *After hearing out empress's description of the ships enchanted properties, his left eyebrow raised up instantly and turned to look at her with an expression of pure astonishment*

 

The ship's rooms shift according to the occupants personality? That's... That's beyond amazing, your highness! I don't think I've ever heard of such powerful enchantment in my life to be honest. I know that the alicorn princesses of equestria could probably do something like it, but I bet they wouldn't waste their time or powers creating such for themselves. While I thought that the empire's airships were already impressive in both esthetic and engineering department, I have to admit that this particular vessel proves that you can take those aspects even further, by placing very powerful enchantments to create a fully unmanned ship able to take you anywhere without the need of a captain, and having the ability to serve the crew with luxury on the side.
