"Hey" she said with a smile. "I'm Piper. How are ya?" She extended a hand.

 

Wow, he's pretty goood-looking, she thought to herself.

 

"What brings ya to Torchwood?" She asked. She realized that this may just be a reuniun, but the Doctor may have alternitive issues. Either way she was ready to help.

"I'm doing good, and my dad thought we could visit." he answered. Damn she is pretty he thought. "Um I was wondering if you could go out with me" Jake asked stumbling over his words a little bit.

 Jack walked in and stood by the Tardis watching the others interact with one another.

"Jack, I'm going to go train. I've got to get some practice in with my bow anyway." Jason said. He walked over to his room, grabbed his bow and arrows, and headed over to a training room. He then began to set up the targets.

(I don't care if Torchwood has a training room or not, it has one now.)

Piper was shocked. He was very direct.

"I don't even know you!" She laughed. How cute! She thought. "How about we straiten out what's going on here, then we'll talk about dinner" she smiled mescheviously "maybe." She turned to jack and awaited what they would do.

"Go get Jason and take Rosalie and Amy school shopping" Jack said to Piper. Well at least I can try to be a dad, since they don't die I can show them what to do, train them properly. Jack thought. Jack went to Amy's room and knocked on the door. "Amy get ready Piper and Jason are going to take you school shopping"

 

  Amy got up and washed her face in the bathroom, than got ready, and to where they were.

Rosa was at a loss for words her face burned red. "Well aren't you a sweetheart? I um would love to go for coffee sometime." She managed to squeak out. 

Regaining her composure she drew back slightly, "I should see if Jack needs me for anything, after all I am at work."

"Rosa can you go with Piper and Jason to get Amy and Rosalie school supplies" Jack asked Rosa.

Rosa looked to Jack thankfully. She wanted something to do other than stare at the man pining for love. She giggled to herself she was flattered truly she was, it just seemed a bit sudden was all.

Walking off to meet her coworkers Rosa found Pipper and Jason together, "Hey so I guess we are takin a break from our usual work.. You ready to shop?" She asked excitedly. "We can take my SUV if we all want to go together?" She finished.

Amy wondered in and found Jason, Piper and Rosa. "Hey my dad said you all were taking me and my sister school shopping. I'm ready if you all are." she said. Another high school that will kick me out cause I'm a freak great. Just great. she thought. Amy stood there waiting for an answer.

Jason had finished his training and put everything back where it was supposed to be. He met up with Piper, Rosa and Amy. "Did you say school shopping? Oh man. I thought I put that behind me when I joined Torchwood." Jason complained. He scratched the back of his head and answered Rosa's question. "SUV sounds good."

Piper climed in the drivers seat and started the engine.

"School shopping" she mused "something I haven't done in a while." She thought of the nearest mall, and decided to go there first.

 

"I love new clothes" Rosalie said. "Something normal to do for a change."

"Yeah what ever. It's just another fucking school that I will get kicked out of for being a freak" Amy said and rolled her eyes sitting in the back of the van. I don't understand I get good grades straight A's for a matter of fact. And I don't get into fights, I stay to myself and everything. I just don't understand.

"Hey look" Piper said "with that attitude, you definatly will. Just cheer up, this is a new oppertunity, a new chance to start new and do better." She smiled, trying to be nice. "Don't worry, k? I'll help you out."

"Yeah I guess. It's not that I get into fights or anything. People there try to get me to change and since I refuse to they find a reason to kick me out or get me kicked out. I hate it" Amy told Piper. "Even my mom wanted me to change so I wouldn't get kicked out" Amy told them.

Jason looked out the window as they drove towards the mall. He didn't want to say anything but he couldn't stop thinking about Captain Jack's kids. He shouldn't pester but he will if he wants to.

"You said you got kicked out or they find a way to kick you out. Exactly how many schools have you gotten kicked out of?" Jason asked Amy.

"I've gotten kicked out of a total 10 schools Jason because of my sexuality" Amy said. I hate this but hopefully I can get into a good school with a music and dance program, also has good teachers to so I can learn what I need and not some crap.

Jason chuckled. "Yeah you're definitely your father's daughter alright."Jason sighed and went back to looking out the window. He still couldn't believe that Captain Jack was a father. Sure it was bound to happen sometime but really? He shook his head and began to think about some other stuff.

"How much longer until we get there. I have some things to replace" Amy said. I hope I can replace my guatir that my mom broke also I have to get new dance stuff since my stepdad threw it out. I don't know what happend to my mom cause we used to be close. I miss my mom so much Amy thought as she looked out the window.

The only noise was the radio and soft humming of the engine. An awkward silence seemed to fill the air. "Hey look guys it's just right up ahead." Rosa blurted out trying her best to avoid the the deafening lack of sound.

 

Cheerfully she drove into the lot and picked out a stall, "Alright guys, we are here."

Jason woke up with a start. "Seems like we're here." Jason said. He got out of the car and shut the door. He yawned and leaned against the front of the car with his arms crossed. "Which school is Amy going to? I don't think Jack said." Jason asked Rosa. He was sure the only thing that Captain Jack said was to get school supplies. But supplies for which school?

Amy got out of the van and waited with Jason. She just waited quitely beside him so he wouldn't keep saying that I was deffenetly my father's daughter. What is that supposed to mean? What is my father like? She asked herself as she walked up to the store.

Piper looked cautiously at all of them. How was she going to keep track of these kids? They were descendants of the few people she knew who were world-famouse trouble makers. The Doctor and Jack couldn't resist adventure. Could their kids? Or would she lose them on her first day?

Amy walked up to the building and waited for the others to come.

Jack met them at the store with Jennifer and went to stand by Amy also. Waiting for the others to walk up to the door.

"Come on guys aliens are faster than you lot" Jennifer yelled at them to come.

Jason muttered a couple of things under his breath and walked over to the group. "Jack, are they allowed to say they're aliens?" Jason asked him as he came up to the group.

Jason looked back over to the car and waved Piper and Rosa over. "Are two just going to sit there all day?" Jason called out to them.

Piper sighed. "Yeah Jason, we're coming, don't get your panties in a twist!"

 

She turned to Rosa. "So. The great and powerful, super top secret Torchwood... babysitting." She laughed lightly "we really need an invasion or some shit, I swear."

 

She met the others at the door. "All right, let's do this. And every one, PLEASE use the buddy system. I don't want to tell Jack or the Doctor if some accidently gets killed."
