"That and...did you see the detective there also, she's in one of my classes...then Yu Narukami came up to m- hold on a second...." He looked at his phone and searched up the weather. "We are in luck, it's going to rain tonight" He said

"Really?" Sekek asked. He took the phone and th looked at the weather himself. "It also says that it's storny. This is great but scary at the same time. I wonder who will be on it?" Sekel gave the phone back.

 

(Ill be controlling who goes on the Midnight Channel and whoever gets killed.)

You scared of a little storm and the Midnight Channel...come on man this going to be easy it's not like we can be sucked into the tv or anythi" Mariku said not knowing that will happen if he touches the Tv

"I am not scared of a storm. I'm only scared of th actual Midnight Channel. Remember what happened last time the Channel was on? People got killed. That is what I am afraid of." Sekel clarified.

"Yeah but it was stopped....I don't know by whothough" He said. "I want to see the Midnight Channel and if we see some one we will try to protect them" He said with a smile on hi face. "Besides wwho knows what the channel will show unless we see it for our self"

"Okay. If we see someone on the channel then we'll definitely try to save them. If we can stay awake that long then we'll definitely see the Midnight Channel tonight." Sekel said. "So which way to your house?" He asked.

Yosuke kept looking at the Nata with glee. "This is just so amazing. How's that manga Naoto? Enjoying it?" Yosuke asked her when admiring the dagger.

"We are here actually" He said. "Trust me I got ways to stay awake...though you need to stay awake bt doing something...I don't know what thought.

 

 

 

"The manga is pretty good actually, it's called The Mythical Detective, Loki Ragnarok" She said as she continued reading.

"Don't think anything of it. I got everyone a gift actually, when we run into them..." he said with a smile. His bag was a little full of stuff, but that wasn't important. He heard Yosuke speak, watching him stab into the air. "Heh. Surprised you're so excited by that. It's a fake blade, and after all those weapons we wielded in the TV, that's gotta feel abit lame in comparison." At the question, he nodded curtly. "Yeah, Dojima said i`m welcome there whenever I like, and I know he means it... Nanako doesn't actually know i`m here yet. I wanna surprise her later..." he though a moment. "It'd be nice to get the whole group together, have a little get together at Dojima's with him and Nanako..." he said, thinking aloud.

"Yeah it would be nice if everyone got together at Dojima's. I know this doesn't compare to the real thing but at least I can actually use it in the Human World." Yosuke said with a sigh. He heard a thunderclap and then rain started to pour from the heavens. Yosuke looked at his watch. "Jeez is that the time already!? Sorry guys but I've got to get home." Yosuke told them then he ran off towards home.

 

Sekel looked at his home. "Do you live with anyone?" He asked.

"Well, as long as you don't get arrested like before." he said with a smirk, suddenly looking up as the downpour started, Aw man, he hadn't checked the weather before he left... would've given him a chance to see what Marie had set up for the weather... aw well. He waved goodbye to Yosuke, and the other two girls, and darted on to Dojimas. The look on Nanako's face was priceless... she'd grown the past few years, obviously, but she still loved her 'big bro.' The three of them had a little party, with some cake Dojima had brought, smiling and staying up abit late. He ended up going back to his room around midnight, smiling abit. He paused, looking at the old TV set... a rainy night on midnight, huh...? Well... he supposed he might as well, for old times sake.

"At the moment my parent are gone they'll be back until I don't know" Mariku said as his tv turned on somehow. "Very funny dude n-" He noticed Sekel didn't have the remote. "Damn Midnight already" He said as he watched the tv.

Yukiko sits waiting. Despite knowing what had happened, and secretly hoping that the rumors weren't true, she believed that she couldn't risk the chance that the Midnight Channel was on and the rest of the group might miss it too. As the alarm goes off to signal midnight, she flicks on the tv and watches for the all-too-familiar static that heralded the Midnight Channel.

Yosuke sat down on his bed with Teddy sitting next to him. The TV goes on with a burst of static then an extremely blurry outline appeared for a few brief moments. It looked sort of like Marie, the weather lady but it was too blurry to tell. "WHAT!? IT'S BACK!?" Yosuke and Teddy shouted at the same time. Yosuke quickly fumbled for his phone to call Yu. Dialling the number, he then waited for Yu to pick up.

 

Sekel's eyes widened when the TV turned on by itself. He saw a blurry outline of what looked like the weather lady. "Isn't that Marie the weather lady?" Sekel asked. Then the TV turned itself off.

"Damn...it was" He said as the tv was still on. "I want to try something" He said as he touched the screen and his hand went in. "HOLY SHIT" He yelled as he tried to get his hand out. "Um...Seke-" He was cut off as he entered the Tv. "Woah...this is awesome"

Yu stared at the image for the longest time. "No... no no no..." he muttered, gripping the edge of the TV... the image was blurry, yes, but he could tell right away who it was... how could this had happened? Marie... it couldn't have been Marie, right? She... she was part of Izanami... He wanted to punch the screen, but knew that would be futile... his hand would just go through it, like always. He suddenly reached through the screen, desperately trying to reach for the outline, as if that would help... he would have shouted, but the whole house wouldv'e just woken up. He was half about to jump inside the television without thinking when he heard the phone ring. He stood up straight, composeing himself... the Midnight Channel was back... that much was very clear... he had hoped that when they'd defeated it before, that would be the end. They could live out thier lives, happily, That was no longer the case. He flipped the phone open and awnsered the call. "Yosuke. I`m guessing you were watching too..." when he'd left, they'd all promised to keep an eye on the midnight channel... just in case. He had complete faith his friends had kept that promise. "Dammit... I just... dammit! We caught Adachi... I thought this was all over..." he grumbled, taking a breath to compose himself. "I guess Ameno-sagiri isn't done yet..." He said, kneading his brow... so much for a happy homecoming...

"Yu? You saw it!? No no no no no! I thought it was just a rumour!" Yosuke panicked as he talked with Yu. Teddy sat on Yosuke's bed, watching Yosuke panic about the Midnight Channel.

 

"Wait!" Sekel grabbed on Mariku's hand but he sucked in as well. He saw a whole bunch of TV silhouette's flying past him.. "Where are we? Wait! Is this the TV World that creepy guy was talking about? And why would the Channel show Marie?" Sekel asked a lot of questions.

"There was a rumor about it being back!?" He said, momentarily angry... dammit! He was mad for a moment at Yosuke... that was something he should have mentioned! If not on the phone, than when he had been there today. He took a breath though, calming him self. It had just been a rumor. Yosuke probrably didn't want to worry him or anyone else with something that, in all likelyhood, was just an old rumor reariseing... "Well.. Not like we have much choice, huh?" He said, forceing a smile more for himself than anything. "The investigation team is back in action. We solved this mystery once. We'll just have to do it again. Call everyone, get them to come by to the secret headquarters tomorrow..." As much as he wanted to surprise everyone with his arrival, this was more important. 

 

Kanji was sitting inside the family textile shop,working late... he knew he was suppose to watch the Midnight Chanel,like always, but he promised his mom he'd get some extra work done. He was making some hand-knit dolls, which had actually become fairly popular... he was working as fast as his hands could, but it was also clear that he was putting special care into each and everyone. He sighed... he'd let the guys down by not watching, but he knew the rest of them had it covered... it'd be alright.... the Midnight Channel hadn't shown anything in years. He could miss one night, right?

"Uh...firt off what the hell is going on" He asked himself as he looked at the ground and then around. "I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING IN THIS AREA" He yelled. "It's so full of fog that you can barely see anything here...Sekel, have any ideas on how to get back home" He asked him

"I don't know about you but I can see just fine." Sekel said. He had his reading glasses on for some reason. It's not like he could read anything here anyway because there was nothing to read. "How do we get back? Don't we just-" He turned around and saw that there was nothing there. "Okay, it appears I do not know how to get back. Any ideas on what to do?" Sekel asked him.

"Yeah sorry about that man. I just didn't want to worry you because it was just a rumour after all. Anyway, I'll call the others and tell them to meet up at the headquarters. See you later." Yosuke hung up and looked at Teddy.

"How can the Midnight Channel be back? I thought we had cleared all the fog and restored the TV World to normal." Teddy asked worriedly. Yosuke just shook his head.

"I don't know Teddy. I just don't know."

"Crap well I don't have my glasses so everything is blurry anyways and WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN SEE JUST FINE" He said ounding a bit pissed that he can't see but Sekel can. "Dude quit playing and tell me that you can't beause all I see is fog surrounding us" He said

Yu nodded. "It's alright, Yosuke. I understand. We'll set everything right..." he said, hanging up his phone and sighing. He sat down on his bed and thought, head in his hands. Marie...Marie was going to get thrown in... maybe... maybe they could just keep an eye on her. She'd understand the need for it, she knew about the Midnight Channel... his options were limited... he wondered if she was now destined to go into the Midnight Channel, no matter what they did. As he sat there, his mind wandered... what was Marie's 'true self'? After all, she was part of Izanami... he sighed, oppening his phone. He had to do his part to inform the others, hitting the speed dial for Chie's phone. He placed his spare hand inside his pocket, feeling the glasses... out of habit, he'd stopped ever being without them close at hand.

Sekel repeatedly took his glasses off and then putting them back on. "What? Everytime I take off my glasses there's fog but when I put them on there isn't any. Here." Sekel handed him his reading glasses to see if it was just him or the actual glasses.

"I need to make a couple of calls. You may as well go to bed bear." Yosuke said. Teddy nodded. "I'm bear-y scared with the TV World coming back." Teddy said before he left. Yosuke sighed and dialed the number for Kanji, hoping he'd pick it up,

Mariku rolled his eyes as he put the glasses on and. "I can see....great now I wish I had my glasses with me this time...I only need them when I play games or at the computer" He said to himself. "Here...until we find a way out you need to guide me for now" He said as he looked around again

Kanji blinked, hearing his phone suddenly ring out. "Who the hell is calling at this time o' nigh-" he paused, seeing the name... Yosuke... and only a few minutes after midnight. "No... No, no.Oh hell no!" He said, refuseing to believe it. There was no way.No fucking way.It was done! Dead and done! They'd kicked Adachi's ass, they'd solved the mystery, they'd done everything they could! It couldn't be back! Adachi was even still in jail, a 'model prisoner' according to Dojima. He snatched his phone up, quickly awnsering. "This'd better be a really fucking bad joke,Yosuke!" He said through gritted teeth... he doubted it... considering what had happened to Saki, he knew Yosuke would never joke about something like this. Even though he hadn't know Yosuke when it happened, it'd become very clear how much it affected him.

"If I was joking I wouldn't call. The Midnight Channel is back. Yu is back as well for a visit but it may be an extended one. He told me to tell you to meet up at the headquarters." Yosuke said seriously. He grabbed his glasses off the nightstand and looked at them. 'I can't believe it's really back ...' Yosuke thought to himself.

Sekel put his glasses back on. He then held Mariku's hand. "Don't be a wimp. I'm just doing this so that you won't lose sight of me. Now. Let's start heading in ... this direction." Sekel said. He started to walk in a random direction and hoped it would lead to a way out.
