4 zombies shambled out of the hole in the wall, attracted by the loud contious noise, the one infront streched its neck snapping at the air, the other ones moaning, all of them focused on War Fluttershy as she made noises, ignoring Broken as they did not detect him

Broken silently steps away and circling around the group of corpses. He still marvels that these things could be so oblivious to their surroundings.

 

He slowly creeps closer while spreading his wings to their full length to expose the edges of his feathers. As soon as he gets close enough, he jumps forward and spins in the air to slice a corpse's head in half. It surprises him that he feel almost no resistance when cutting through the corpses skull and so he misjudges his landing and stumbles slightly. One of his wings rasps against the ground.

Broken tilts his head, "I have first aid kits. I believe they contain some form of narcotic pain reliever."

Broken opens his bag and passes half of them over to

"These should be sufficient, exalted."

Broken turns around and follows after .

Frozen nods and takes the pills, "Th-thank you... These are rather appreciated." She separates a few of the pills, swallows them with a gulp, and places the rest in her bag. As the magically-assisted narcotics sweep through her system, wrapping all sensation in a smothering blanket of hazy warmth, she checks her rifle, "4 more in the mag, two mags... Hopefully not many more of them..." She stumbles over to the bathroom, "Do you guys need help?"

a zombie detects the noise of his wing and turns to him, he also gets near enough of another one that it detects him and then starts shambling twords him, the last one is still moving to War Flutttershy, still snapping at the air, the zombie growls at her

I jump up into the air and fly up enough for broken to make a successful attack. Noticing that you missed two i pick up speed and use my front hooves to smash one's head into the pavement, making a sickening crush then after landing completely i buck into the other's zombie's neck and face, knocking it back away from you and me. While hitting it we heard cracking of bone when my hooves land on the zombie.

 

(i do get a little descriptive when it comes to this kind of stuff. so sorry if it goes over board for anyone who has a weak stomach. just let me know and i'll tone it down some.)

the remaining zombie shrugs off the now broken rib cage in its body, it has become angry and roars, it argliy shambles back to them, growling with anger, now that it is enraged it is harder to kill and will attack more agressivly, its not so much shampling as more of angry marching

Broken's warpony mask smoothly slides up as his balance recovers. The world falls away and everything left is the mechanical precision of his conditioning and the corpses in his way. The closest corpse is within range of another spinning slash. The whistling of metal and the dull thunk of the wing embedding itself into rotting pony flesh is enough of a cue for his reflexes to spin him around again in the other direction before he or the corpse are conscious of the successful hit that nearly bisects the corpse. The slightly thicker edge of Broken's opposite wing slams into the other corpse's side with a crack and the sick tearing of flesh as the edge breaks the corpse's skin and into it's ribs.

I stand in front of broken and i get low to the ground ready to strike when the opportunity presents it's self, i slowly circle it, knowing it is going after me, seeing its eyes transfixed on me in anger, more or less. When i have gotten it turned away from broken i jump up into the air going about 10 to 15 feet, instead of letting my bare hooves lead i drop down with my armored hooves to prevent it from biting me on the bare flesh. As i drop i do a bucking motion into its head to knock it back down on the ground and land full force.

 

(lol and got ninja'ed again. )

Frozen lowers her rifle and draws her pistol, "Would you allow me to test a hypothesis of mine? It will give us some information about what these things are like." She levels the pistol at the zombie, "Here goes." She fires two rounds into the zombie's torso and throat, smiling as the rounds rip into the corpse.

the zombie was nearly chopped in half, the bones in its front torso broken, it was on its last legs, bleeding out, it crys out in anger, then two heavy pistol bullets ripped into it, a good portion of its neck blew off and a nice chunk of torso explosed as the bullets ripped into it at such range, it was now dead

I look over at the zombie that frozen has killed.

 

"Thanks"

 

I say and i walk over to broken.

 

"Need a hoof?"

 

I lend my hoof out for him to take if he need it. I also inspect him to make sure he wasn't injured or that he had broken either of his wings.

 

"Well it didn't go that bad"

 

I remark to frozen and broken.

Missy heard the gunshots and trotted to the bathroom where there was the hole in the wall.

"Hey guys, don't fire guns out here, do you want to attract them to us?" Missy said, stepping over the zombie corpses. "So, how are we gonna fix this? It's very extensive."

Thunder suddenly realized that he was alone with the cart. He looked up from his thoughts and came face to face with a zom.

 

He should have been paying attention.

 

He spread his wings, the momentum knocking the zom off balence. He immediatly took to the air, his mind filled with panic.

 

He forgot the rope attaching hom to the cart. He felt a sharp pain in his right wing, and he plummeted back to the ground, tangled in the rooe. Pain wracked his body.

 

"HELP!" he screamed, hopeing somepony would hear him "PLEASE!"

Broken is unable to reply. His wings are once again acting oddly. Even without a power source, they seem to be giving him problems.

 

Across his vision, under his nose, in his mouth, in his ears... sensations are being translated into status reports and minute details about his wings. The sensations are overwhelming and slightly painful. The only sign of his distress is the slight tremble in his outstretched, blood-drenched wings and his frozen eyes.

I dash and take off flying in the direction of thunder to save him from the zombie

 

"back away from it!"

 

i say as it stumbles towards you, i speed up to meet it with my hooves. I start to think to my self as i fly there.

 

'Lots of practice today'

 

The words start to repeat it self in my mind as i keep going and reach the zombie in time to knock it over and start trampling it as thunder was getting up.

@,  the zombie threw him off and roared, this one was a little bigger than the  previous ones, it wasnt huge, but it was noticbly bigger, it roared and charged War Fluttershy, sholder slamming her and knocking her to the ground, it roared, getting ready to stomp her

Missy ran over to the cart where Thunder was still attached.

"Are you okay? How hurt are you? Did you get bitten?" Missy asked, trying to find where the place to untie the harness was, she didn't know what kind of damage he just did. She's smaller than everypony else, but she's tall enough. She is then startled by the zombie knocking WarFlutters backwards.

Seeing the awesome cutting power they have only heightens her fear, but he seems completely paralyzed for some reason. Grabbing a nearby fallen pipe with her magic, she slides it across the edge of his wings to further test their cutting power.

I roll out of the way before it lands the stomp.

 

"yikes"

 

I watch for it and the surrounding area for more zombies to attack.

 

"best get out of here thunder, its going to get ugly really fast."

 

I pace my self watching my surroundings, making sure i don't get ganged up more than this big lug of a zombie. I remain low to the ground, waiting for it to attempt another attack.

@,  the zombie roared in anger, it stomps its hooves then charged again hoping to knock her down again

it snorted, luckily for War Fluttershy he was the only zombie in the parking lot, so she didnt have to worry about other zombies attacking, but this was a tough one, and now that its angry it would be even harder to kill especially without weapons

Frozen's eyes, no longer locked into her scientific analysis of how to kill the zombies, wander over to the blood-drenched wings of Broken. Seeing the awesome cutting power they have only heightens her fear, but he seems completely paralyzed for some reason. Grabbing a nearby fallen pipe with her magic, she slides it across the edge of his wings to further test their cutting power.

 

 

The pipe rasps against the edges of composite feathers, simulated muscles of electrified plastics, and bones of metal and magic. The edge is not enough to fully cut through the pipe but it still cuts a deep groove into the edge of the pipe without dulling or chipping.

 

The sensation of metal on metal is conveyed to Broken's mind as a series of highly pleasant tastes and smells that gently ease him out of his shocked state. His wings slowly quiet their frantic signalling until its merely a background buzzing of his senses.

I dodge out of the way and knock it over onto it's side by bucking it into it's side.

 

'I need to break it's legs'

 

I wait for it to get up again and charge at it into its rear legs hoping to break a leg so it would hobble instead of going a full charge.

 

"Going to need help!"

 

I yell loud enough for others to help.

"I think so" Thunder grunted. "im- ah!" He looked at this wing, anging broken and limp. "Er, maybe not..."

 

He turned to . "Thanks" he breathed. He tried to help, but the pain was too great. He saw black spots fill his eyes, and he fought hard not to collapse. His wing was trobbing in pain.

With only levitation magic, she was going to find it hard to fight anything.

"Hold on, let me get you out of there!" Missy said, working to untie the cart from him with her magic, his wing was very damaged and he wouldn't stay conscious for much longer it seemed. "Come on!" She yelled in frustration at the knots.

this was noticeably a different kind of zombie, likely a mutation, in addition to being big, it was also stronger, while it still looked rotted and decayed, only the fur and skin were deteriorated, the rest seemed mostly intact, this "Beserker" or "Charger" type zombie had better hearing and was much more aggressive and will often seek encounters, while regular zombies are oblivious and passive
