The chemical bomb detonates, the large propane tank on the school violently explodes in a huge massive fireball, the back of the school is obliterated there is also a good sized shockwave that goes out for 100 feet, there is a huge towering inferno, the city feels a faint rumble, every zombie in the entire town heads that way as the fire lights up the sky, a single brick that was flying through the air lands in the skylight of the Sporting Goods store and hits the floor hard, all the zombies near the explosion that werent too close were either knocked over or now deaf

I stop and listen, then motion broken to follow me to a spot that won't be occupied by zombies.

 

"what the buck?"

 

I whisper hearing the explosion from over here

 

"what did they get them selves into?"

 

I look over still whispering while still keeping an eye out for any zombies, i also check to see if any of them are going in that direction

 

"well that makes our lives harder..."

 

I comment in a whisper again.

I wake up because of a distant bang. "Huh?..." I stare at Thunder. He's breathing and he looks pretty okay other than his wing. "Hmm... I hope that everyone is okay. I wonder what that even was..." I walk over to Thunder and poke him hoping that he'll wake up.

Missy felt the shockwave of the explosion and was slightly startled, and by slightly, I mean she fell over.

"What was that?!" She yelled, then a brick flew through the skylight of the store. "We're under attack!!" Missy ran outside to check what had happened, clear as day, there was a large towering fire shooting into the sky. "What are they doing over there?" Then she noticed that it was getting dark. "We'd better get this barricaded before it gets dark!" She calls out to the remaining ponies.

Broken twitches but gives not much more reaction to the shockwave that he feels in his hooves and wings. His senses are again overstimulated but he can still operate.

 

"Er... it seems that our group has done something rash, warpony..." He tiredly tries to concentrate on his surroundings, the rising fireball, and his racing thoughts trying to figure out what might have happened.

 

"We... we... can take advantage of this. The corpses will be attracted to the noise and confused by the light. We have the option of doubling our pace; do you concur, warpony?"

"Uh... Missy I don't think that's necessary. The corpses wont care about us, they will want to go to the explosion instead. It would be a waste of time and energy. As long as we have the lights off we should be fine. I hope the others come back soon just in case though."

"Maybe, but just in case, I'm going to do something." Missy rips one of the doors of the cubicles of the bathroom off with her magic, then placing it where the hole in the wall was. "That'll do for now, but we'll need something a lot stronger if we're going to block it completely."

(The School is about to explode, so I recommend you run now...)

Frozen strains to hear the pony over the slightly-distorted music. "It isn't safe here! Run!" She shouts and gestures for Technicolor to follow.

Frozen does as Philips says and tosses him the Maddox head. She ducks before shouting ), "3 minutes! We're going to make it!"

 

 

Technicolor pricks her ears forward, straining to hear the pony before her. "Oh! Sorry for the inconvenience!" she takes off on her wings,  and within a second, she is alongside the new pony. "I'll follow you!" She shouts.

Philipe grabbed technicolors hoof as they began to speed up "Y'o would'nt be able to keep up very long...only reason I can is i'm being pulled!"

As they arrive a near the camping store, Frozen tosses philipe the maddox and he stands on the back of the cart "Everyone hold on tight!" he tosses it and it curls like a grappling hook around the "no parking" sign in front of the store, inside they are thrown fowards as the cart screeches to a very sudden stop when it reaches the end of it's rope

"we...we're safe,ok...we need to grab that maddox and pull it in here and then...then i'm calling it a night"

"Let us go with this advantage then. So we don't have the disadvantage later."

 

i contenue forward. Sure that broken is right beside me watching the right as i watch the left.

Technicolor obeyed. She was a fast pony, but she couldn't keep up. She knew that she was unhealthy and couldn't fly like she used to before the outbreak occurred. She rode along until they came to a screeching stop that made her dizzy.

"Believe me, I'm calling it a night too," she said in a dizzy slur.

"So... What are your names? She said curiously. "And... And thanks for saving me!"

Broken nods and speeds up to a measured trot while sticking to the shadows. He extends his wings a small bit to feel a bit of wind between the feathers. It is as close to flying as he can get.

Looks over and smiles breifly and looks back to our left flank as we trot through the shadows of the city to the hospital.

Missy begins to feel slightly bored, then going exploring the store for various things.

She checked the hunting section of the store, there seemed to be three, very intimidating look guns, but the weight of which would not cause much of an impact on her. She levitated the pistol, not sure of how the thing worked, (the safety is on), she places the small gun in her saddlebag, thinking it will be useful for later but at that point in time, she was in no state to be aiming a gun.

Missy took the common pistol,

 

outside it was getting more dark, with the exception of an orange glow in the sky where the high school was, just about every zombie in town was moving twords it, the simple act of getting near the former school was extremely dangerous due to the sheer volume of zombies near and around it

I stayed close to Thunder hoping he would wake up soon. "Just wake up, please..." I poked him a couple of times. He is still breathing. "Wow... he must need some serious sleep to be sleeping for about a day straight." I looked up to the only source of light, the explosion. "please come back guys..."

After shaking off the daze of half-crashing into the shopping center, Frozen dusts herself off and turns toward the hospital. "I have to go, watch for any stragglers from the school, but don't shoot them. If you have to stab one, then stab one, but other than that stay quiet." She hisses as she gallops after Broken and War Fluttershy.

Missy continued her expedition of the store, Thunder seemed to be breathing, though his injury was pretty bad, if only he was watching his surroundings, it never would've happened, Missy had one thing over others in this apocalypse, she was a child, and she was going to use that to her advantage. And she could pull her own weight so she wasn't holding anypony back.

Frozen was not too far from War and Broken, her handy work was easily visible in the sky, the orange glow was visible from most parts of the town, zombies were now packed shoulder to shoulder around the high school, the streets were just about empty now

I motion to press forward but still watch for stragglers roaming around.

 

"The streets are almost clear, when we reach the hospital we will break for dinner and press into the hospital"

 

I clearly say not seeing any zombies near us.

 

(I think the cap should be between 150 to 175... because i am almost always needing a filer when we need to post a short blerb but i am fine either way.

Missy levitated the gun back out of her saddlebag and looked at it, not doing anything, just sitting down and staring at the gun.

She looked over at a discarded glass bottle, conveniently placed for her entertainment, aiming down the sights of the gun hopefully aiming at the bottle, she pulled the trigger but nothing happened. "What? This gun doesn't work!"

Frozen soon catches up with War Fluttershy and Broken, "Sorry I'm late, we ran into some unexpected resistance at the high school, and the resulting excitement ended up with the entire thing exploding. What's the plan once we get into the hospital? Wait... Do we HAVE a plan?" She asks, looking silently at the two warriors.

Broken speeds up. The faster the pace, the faster they return to the base with medical supplies for every pony. The effects of his extended activity, magic, and lack of food and water are starting to become noticable. He estimates maybe three hours before he will start having difficulties. The hospital is looming into sight in the distance.

 

"Exalted, it is good to have you here. Warpony Fluttershy... YOU DID WHAT?" Broken's expression is horrified.

Technicolor flattens her ears, unsure of what to do. Would she soon be alone again? She stuck close to the pony near her, fearing injury or death. Still, she tried to look brave as she got out her dagger, thinking of how her friends would want her to be. She stood tall.

while examining the gun you notice a tiny switch with a white dot beside it, right below the slide, it appears to be movable, also (because the gun is basically a glock) you notice it seems to have two triggers, (a glock wont fire until the triggers are pulled all the way)

 

 

Frozen, Broken, and War arrive at the hospital, it is night now and the hospital appears eerily dark

"Hmm..." Missy slides the switch down, hearing a tiny clicking sound, she then notices the gun has two triggers. "That's unusual."

Missy pulls one, then the other, then to test it, she pulls both at the same time, the gun fires into the ceiling and Missy drops it on the floor.
