BTW I'm talking about Doctor who. If you didn't see the christmas special, Matt Smith regenerated into Peter Capaldi. Im a huge doctor who fan and have a good feeling about Peter Capaldi.

What are you guys' opinions?

He's a good actor, but it really depends on his scripts. Like most new regenerations, the few seconds we got of him after regeneration isn't really that indicative of anything.

He's gonna be awesome. I've recently found out that he is actually gonna be a more serious darker Doctor. Which is gonna be really interesting to see. The show's also is gonna be more like Classic Who, which is even more interesting. I suspect plenty of action, monsters, and tears in series 8... And I can't wait!!

I like the look of him, I mean I'm a huge fan of Matt Smith's doctor but I'm looking forward to seeing what an older, more mature and dark doctor is gonna bring, plus he has new kidneys! XD

I've been skeptical about actors playing the Doctor before, but I've learned to trust the series. So far, I haven't been disappointed with any Doctor, although I do have my favorites. Moffat has definitely proved he knows what he's doing with the show, and I like the idea of a darker version of the Doctor, so I say bring it on.
