Homesickness, Experience and Feelings.

I don't recall if I mentioned anything before about the subject but I'd like to hear feedback from anypony about their experience with homesickness. Explain what was happening and how exactly did it feel?

Recently I moved to my campus dorm and I live three hundred miles away from my hometown. Not a pleasant feeling, but thankfully I get the occasional monthly visit back home.

Do stick around Darling, I could use the company~

I have never been homesick until I got married.

have gotten so used to my husband's presence that I cannot sleep much at all if we have to sleep apart. I easily miss him and often worry about him throughout the day....

I felt worse than lonely, like a part of me is broken and incomplete.

I'm from Massachusetts but I've lived in the UK for the last 7 years. I like living here but I really, really miss it sometimes.

All the anti-americanism here doesn't help either. :okiedokielokie:

Years of moving from place to place, to different rent homes, traveling to see my boyfriend, now husband. I've learned to some extent how to control the feeling of homesickness, because home is always where the heart is for me. As long as I have someone around who loves me, I'm home.

That said, even when I was visiting my husband over seas, the homesickness feeling became apparent when I lost my independence. I was in a country that wasn't dominated by English, I didn't have my car, my bank, my grocery stores... I didn't know my way around, i couldn't go anywhere without the help of my husband's family...My stomach turned, I got bitter, flustered, short tempered on everything...I counted the days when I'd return back home... But I dealt with it because I still had my husband with me...loving me and making me as comfortable as possible.

I'm just a silly little alicorn, trying to get by in the fandom ^^

Military brat. I moved all around the world ever 3 years losing any and all friends I had made in between moves. We considered home to be our birth city. Family was always there and we would return to it every year or so. I got used to it eventualy but I also stopped making friends because there wasn't much of a point since I lost them in 3 years or less. It just simply was for me and it stopped bothering me and just felt with it by pushing past and or ignoring it.
